Tired and worn out. Needs a refurb. Toilet smelt of urine. Bed side lights didn't work. Only one side of the bed has a plug to charge a phone. Our dinner order was given another table. Had to wait over an hour for our main course. I've stayed in Novotels many times but this is way below the usual standard.

Our stay was OK, I was expecting better after reading other reviews. The rooms were VERY dated, the lift wasn’t working, the pool was pretty dirty. The fridge had a leg falling off which felt dangerous and the window had no safety feature on it so it felt very unsafe with the children. The shower was good as was the food.

We used the hotel as a stop before heading further south. Conveniently located close to the autoroute and the centre of Le Mans. The staff were really friendly even with me trying to speak broken French. We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel but we did eat breakfast which was utterly superb. Lots of pastries, fresh fruit, cereal and cheese. The only very minor point would be the cleanliness of the room. It wasn’t disgusting by any stretch of the imagination but could have done with a bit more attention particularly in the toilet area. Lovely hotel and would stay again.
