What a wonderful hotel! So close to the harbour and walkable to all the sites around downtown. The pool was a great way to relax and unwind after all the walking. We stayed in a Gold room and the access to the Gold terrace and all the amenities (breakfast and evening canapés) was superb and worth the extra cost.

I have stayed at several hotels in the Fairmont chain, and this one really only stands out because of its location. Otherwise, the facilities are quite limited, it is the first time I have noticed that my kids didn’t want to go back to the pool. There was nothing particularly noteworthy about the rooms. The breakfast was fairly limited, I’d rate it a 3.5 in my opinion, with very few fruit options. The restaurant menu was also quite limited. I couldn’t rate it higher than a 2.5. In summary, the price of the room doesn’t match the level of service. Honestly, there are hundreds of better options in the area at a clearly lower price.

This property was perfect for our early arrival for a cruise that departed across the street. It's a lovely environment, clean and safe. The staff was excellent. We used the bikes and had a delightful ride around the city and took the bus across the way to other tour locations, all at no charge! There are a several great food spots near by for all tastes and price ranges. We also loved have a Rite Aide to stock up on a few things we couldn't carry on as well as snacks. Also there is a food court and shopping right there too. Made everything super ease and we'd definately come back.

Unfortunately, many staff could not understand what you were saying, bar man was excellent, made lovely cocktails. The room was noisy next to the lifts and the Internet and cable did not work. We happened to stay during the American thanksgiving weekend and the hotel could not withstand the business. The services were very slow. We had to wait in line forever to get into the elevator. The comforter is very thin and flimsy. There is mold in the sealant in the bathtub. You can absolutely tell the amenities are old and not very nice. The light in the closet kept blinking and it’s not fixed throughout 6 nights of staying. Overall it’s not worth the price but the location is prime

I love staying at the Fairmont Waterfront. It's a high-end hotel at reasonable prices. The entire place is spotless. I enjoy the restaurant/bar. It's ideally located on the waterfront. I have an annual trade show and the location is right across the street from the Vancouver Convention Center.

Always one of my favourite places to stay. Beautiful view, amazing service. Great restaurant in house and room service. Spacious rooms. Walking distance from downtown shopping and dining. Underground parking never seems overcrowded. I stay here a few times a year and always enjoy the experience.

I loved the view from my spacious room on the 18th floor. The bedding was made of fine materials and the pillows were a range so you could choose which you liked under your head. Check in and out was quick and easy. The concierge and staff were kind and helpful. If you’re on the 18th floor the ice maker is broken and you have to dig around and find the flap then put it back up behind the dispenser in order to dispense ice. I hope they fix it before you arrive.

For staying at a Fairmount, I found the bed sheets poor quality. The bottom sheet was thin and the pad underneath wouldn’t stay in place. The walls seem thin as we could others talking at a normal voice. House cleaning was making a lot of noise around 6:30 pm and one house cleaner actually walked right in without warning.

The hotel was very busy, and when I arrived around 3:30pm my room was not ready, and reception was trying to figure out what was going on. After I finally checked in one of the bed sheet was ripped under the comforter. Did not seem like the room service care about the quality of the service. Called to change the sheet with no response for more than 30mins, and had to call again then finally someone came and changed the ripped sheet. Not good stay experience at all.

Check-in was great and Miryam was great.We got to our room and it was clean and tidy. The hotel was convenient for everything we had planned for the weekend. A small thing, but a thing was the shower gel was empty in the shower. We did not have breakfast, but the evening meal we had at the Arc restaurant was quite delicious. The staff we had serve us was quite exemplary. Overall, a good weekend.

Check-in was scheduled for 3:00 PM. After waiting in line, I reached the front desk at approximately 3:40 PM and was informed that the room was not yet ready. I was advised it would take about 20 minutes and that I would receive a call or text once the room became available. By 4:40 PM, having received no communication, we returned to the front desk, where staff advised that the room had in fact been ready shortly after 4:00 PM. This level of service does not meet my expectations of the Fairmont brand, particularly given that we were required to wait in the lobby for over an hour and forty minutes beyond the scheduled check-in time. This was not how I had planned to spend my New Year’s Eve.

This place is incredible. Location amazing by the water and the Waterfront Station for all the Skytrain and Seabus public transit. Restaurants all around and close to Gastown. Near Stanley Park and the Coal Harbour Seawall.

We stayed on the 9th floor and had added benefits such as a separate check-in and check-out, complimentary breakfast and canapés. Across the street from the cruise terminal. Walking distance to parks and numerous outstanding restaurants. Will definitely stay there again!

We were offered an upgrade for 160.00 where a morning breakfast buffet, and afternoon canapés, were offered on the Gold Floors. All drinks included , except alcohol. This really made our stay A+ amazing, and well worth the upgrade.

I love the rain shower head. The room was clean and large. I just wish the refrigerator was available to use besides the alcohol. I didn’t like the fact that the possibility of being charged just for opening the refrigerator was there. I upgraded to Fairmont Gold room. The breakfast buffet was great! It is well worth the money for a family of four. I just wish the dinner selection was more dinner-like rather than being more appetizer-like.

while i wouldn't call this a 5 star property, it is a pretty good 4 star overall & convenient location, good for the cruise ships...Issues are long wait for breakfast & a dysfunctional in room closet that has hardly any room to hang things, complete with side ways drawers in the closet that can barely be used due to the poor design... staff was helpful tho & property is good otherwise!
