Mattress and Pillows were too soft. TV didn't work on the first night but worked on the second night. Room phone didn't work. AC in hotel gym didn't work but at least an employee helpfully put a fan in there.

The hotel is very updated and comfortable. The pool is very family friendly and the rooms are all updated and inviting. This is probably the nicest Mariott property I've ever stayed at. If I return to Cleveland I definitely want to stay here again. Bathrooms are great and the glass doors are a plus. The beds were very comfortable as well. The hotel even has a nice smell throughout it.

Loved the large modern rooms, large tv and sink separate from the toilet shower area. The lobby is filled with games, pool table , sports on tv. Fabulous small gathering lounge areas. Outdoor fire place a plus.

Very cool and interesting decor. Very modern and had a fun relaxing atmosphere. It was different than most hotels I’ve stayed in. Our hallway could have been cleaner. There were piles of used towels and sheets in one corner and it was there the next day as well. They must be short staffed. Our room was very nice, but there was no comfortable seating at all! There was a long wooden bench but no upholstered furniture such as a chair to relax in. Overall, it was an interesting place to stay.

Checked in, was asked about daily maid service, yes. Came down at 8:15 1st morning, no coffee. Came back on 1st day, room was not attended to. Went to desk, gave us clean towels and plastic bags and told us to put the dirty towels in the plastic bags - we did not. Came down 2nd morning - coffee was luke warm. They had hot coffee in the back which they brought out - they just hadn't checked. Spoke to Mgr. He was nice & very attentive - took money off the bill which we did not ask for or expect. Got back to the room that night - no towels. Bathroom very dark. shower in need of cleaning & caulking, no shelves or bars in shower, slide door to shower so heavy and hard to slide you had to bang it shut Bed flat & uncomfortable Should be said that staff was nice and with complaints, was attentive & tried to ease the situation. Lobby beautiful with lots of cozy seating, games,live music nice bar. Great hotel except for the rooms you had to sleep in.

The only issue was the sliding door to the toilet/ shower area would not close! There was an eight inch gap no matter what we tried. But it looks like they are updating the whole place. Staff were so friendly and welcoming!

The people are great. The rooms and halls are dark and drab. The shower barn doors are downright dangerous. They are entirely too heavy and have numerous pinch points that could sever your fingers. I'm a full grown adult and they are so heavy they slam shut on their own and it shakes the whole room. The room is designed so that you can hear anything going on in the bathroom. The halls are dark and poorly lit.

Every thing was pretty good EXCEPT the water pressure in the shower. It was so weak I could not wash my hair. This alone will stop me from retiring to the Al-loft Beachwood.

Didn’t stay staff and security upset w something didn’t acknowledge us waiting to check in. I said something they then did. I was going to a clinical conference w my business partner and friend. I had reserved 2 queen beds days earlier. They gave them away had only one king. I had to tell them to take it off my charge or I’m not sure it would have gotten done. We left and stayed at a different Marriott

Hotel has been around for awhile, but seems brand new. Everyone I encountered was friendly and great service / solved any issues. Best hotel on east side of Cleveland, by far!

They did not allow us to check in on time as they did not have rooms available. It seems like they oversold the rooms. They finally allowed us to check in late evening, which was many hours after their stated check in time. Front Desk was very rude and did not take any accountability or responsibility for this. Terrible experience. We will never go back again.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve had. Great location, hotel in good shape, excellent rooms and facilities. Staff were amazing - especially Alexis who helped with lots of random questions and chatted and enquired about my stay like she’d known me for years. 11/10 all round.

Thank you Aloft Beachwood for everything!! This hotel was convenient to the highway and shopping & dining. We moved to this hotel after a nearby hotel condition was very disappointing. I love that this hotel was renovated and always smelled clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. We added a night when our trip when our plans changed and that process was smooth as well. Can’t recommend this place enough for short or longer stays.

This place was situated in the best areas by the hospital, shopping outlets and eateries. I enjoyed the staff was so personable even the manager Mrs. Genna Sparks, even the opportunity to workout at Lifetime fitness. I will ne nack to this location as should everyone!

We had a nice stay. There were lots of kids and teams all over the place. We were not disturbed in our room and it was quiet for most of our stay. The breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful.

I ordered a room with a king size bed. Received something else. I was told this only seems to happen when ordering via 3rd party. So moving forward i will follow up with a phone call. Didn't have this issue at Marriott. Beautiful indoor poll. Chef made me a breakfast sandwich i couldnt believe came out of that kitchen. It was amazing. Outside 2 days post snow storm, no walk ways or grounds appeared to be shoveled (it appears to be an ohio thing, from Cleveland to Columbus was the same, they don't appear to clean sidewalks or shovel path ways or parkinglots.)
