Tribe Amsterdam City

This hotel is great for its value. Tucked away 5 minutes away from Amsterdam central. It’s safe, clean and convenient. It’s located beside the Noord subway station only 2 stations away from Amsterdam Centraal. There are a few restaurants and a grocery store within a few minutes walk. Staff are nice. Hot breakfast was good, except for scramble eggs., could have had more variety as it was the exact same for our 8-day stay. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for its value, safety, location and convenience.

Amazing location directly next to subway station and many restaurants. Great bar and lounge. Staff members were amazing. We were able to rent bicycles directly at the hotel to go visit the dutch countryside. Highly recommend!

Tribe is located at the northern end of the M52 Amsterdam metro line. Trains run often, and many of the most popular areas are located along the line. Get an unlimited metro pass and travel to your heart's content. If you want to visit the windmills or the castle, these are about a 20-min ride away in an Uber. (It's longer if you take public transportation, but both the train and buses are also affordable options). The hotel itself is wonderful. The staff is friendly, helpful, and multilingual . Also, pleasant surprise: They provide free umbrellas on frequent rainy days. Opt in for the breakfast; you'll have a multitude of hot and cold options, and they also make eggs to order. There is also a bar that open till midnight if you want to have a drink but not travel home so late at night. The rooms are comfortable with a mini fridge, safe, and roomy shower. There is also a fitness area on the 8th floor, if you are so included. I would absolutely stay here again.\n\n

Great location 350ft from metro with 5 minute ride to city center. Resort fee was odd since they aren’t a resort with only a very small workout room and no spa. But great value for the money I’m this brand new area just across from Amsterdam central.

I spent one night at Tribe Amsterdam City. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and modern, with complementary coffee, tea and mineral water, including a small fridge. The room also had air conditioning. The bathroom was practical with a walk-in shower. Everything was very clean. Good value for money. The hotel is located next to metro and bus station. Underground parking is also available under the hotel.

The hotel’s location was perfect, right by the train station, making it easy to explore Amsterdam. The decor and design were beautiful, but the service was disappointing. There was no phone in the room — communication was only through WhatsApp, with slow replies. Our first night, we found a hole in the bedsheet, and the TV remote didn’t work. After reporting it, they responded the next morning, promising to replace both, but only the sheet was changed. The remote still didn’t work on the second and third nights. Eventually, a staff member visited and confirmed the TV was faulty, offering a room change — but since we were leaving the next day, it felt pointless. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, with no alternatives, leading to poor sleep. The only apology came on our last night with a drinks voucher, but when my friend ordered a spirit and mixer, she was still charged despite the voucher including spirits. The hotel itself was lovely, but the lack of urgency, poor communication, and discomfort made the stay disappointing.

The hotel was very chic and clean. Quiet and a comfortable space to relax. I will definitely stay here again!

Pros - Location was great, close to the metro station, which was only a short ride into amsterdam - Very modern decor which made the place feel quite cool and impressive upon arrival - Welcoming receptionist that managed to find us a room before usual check in time after arriving early - Bathroom / wet room nice - Glazing good and blocked out traffic noise from road below - Room very clean - Lots of apps on the TV eg. Netflix etc and screen-casting capabilities was handy after a long day out - Nearby area had a couple of nice eateries eg. Le Perron just down the road for lunch, and Bunk Restaurant just one metro stop away Cons - Replenishment of teas and creamer not very good by housekeeping, had to ask at reception for extra creamer and they said only housekeeping had it so we asked for some milk instead which they gave us in a cup. Replenishment of bottled water would have also been appreciated - Housekeeping knocked a couple of bottles of our products over and didn't stand them back up - seemed a bit careless / lack of respect for our belongings - Sewage smell near lift area to rooms - Bed generally very hard and uncomfortable, pillows generally quite uncomfortable too - WiFi signal very poor, generally only 2 bars tops, mostly 1 though, despite there being what appeared to be an antenna in the room itself - Nearby area seemed quite a poor area and run down with lots of graffiti etc

This is a high end mid range hotel, it had terrific facilities and staff. The property is in the new upcoming North Amsterdam area and has great access to the Metro.

We had an excellent stay at Tribe. Room was clean, bed was super comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The location is fantastic considering its proximity to the Metro Noord Station, less than a 100 yards from the station exit. You can be into the city center in under 10 mins. Made it easy if we needed to return to the room for anything throughout the day. We also stayed in two other places during our trip and found Tribe to be our favorite of the trip. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel with modern, tasteful decor. Perfect for a few nights visiting Amsterdam. Metro station literally right at the front door with transport into central really frequent. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and just a short train ride away from all city attractions. It is less than a block from the train station, which makes it safe to walk to both day and night. The rooms were clean and simply decorated and the staff attended to all questions and concerns.

Really can’t fault this hotel. Good value. Nice rooms, good bathroom, nespresso coffee machine, comfy beds, excellent breakfast fresh with loads of choice. Transport into the city was so quick and easy I would say it’s better than being in the centre as the metro gets you close to wherever you need to get to and it’s literally next door. Nice bar area for a drink

We loved our stay at Tribe Amsterdam City. The transport links with the central city were excellent, less than a 10minute ride on the metro which went regularly, every 10-15 mins. The Market 27 next door provides an excellent choice of food from breakfast through to dinner. The hotel bar had a lovely atmosphere. Overall, extremely happy with our stay.
