The whole experience at the old pound inn was excellent, soon as I walked in the staff were really on it, warm and welcoming,, the accommodation is all new and clean,,,and the breakfast, and service are above and beyond belief,,, thank you for making my stay so welcoming and relaxing..

Staff were very attentive, polite and explained what needed to know, checked us in very quickly and show to our room. Room was clean and stocked with pkenty of tea, coffee etc. Bed was very comfortable and nice fresh bedding and towels, toiletries were supplied. Food in the restaurant was very nice and a good price and generous portions.

It’s a little tired but the staff on the whole are friendly. The food is okay and the room was comfortable although one side of the bed sloped towards the outer edge! The heating was on as well, despite the radiator set to ‘off’.
