This property is in a great location for beach access - simply out the gate and you are on the stunning Bilinga Beach. Our room was clean and colourful. Bed was comfy. Supplied with pool towels and a well stocked mini bar! Being directly opposite Gold Coast airport there was noise from planes landing & taking off but thats to be expected. Onsite parking was really handy too. Staff helpful & friendly.

Place was not cleaned thoroughly and don’t bother paying extra for a 3rd person because the 3rd bed they provide isn’t really a bed, it’s a piece of board. Best thing about it was the rental bikes, which were falling apart as well, but some still worked.

Excellent location right on the walking path and meters from the sand. My only gripe was some cheap lamps and furnishings the body soaps were from China, and the extensive minibar was not included (just like typical hotels). Other than that it was a very nice stay on the beach

Pros: on the beach, cute take on an updated motel, nice rooms and amenities. Cons: very noisy - earplugs provided but young kids unlikely to use them and flights start at 6am, pool not heated

Good things: location next to the beach path was great for walking/cycling to Coolangatta, and access to the beach. Loved the decor in the room! Nicely fitted out and comfortable. Bad things: staff disorganised and check in was chaotic. The building looks like it was renovated with a quick cosmetic makeover and the cracks are starting to show.

Lovely property, rooms are small, very well appointed, but not much storage space. Bathrooms are newly renovated but again, no storage space. Lots of noise from the nearby airport, planes start flying overhead about 6.30 am. Room was serviced after the second night, but tea and coffee wasn’t replenished, lucky we took our own.

De utger sig för att vara ett boutique hotell men hotellet är ganska basic för det. Vi bodde i 3 nätter och ingen städning eller byte av handdukar på hela tiden. Poolen ligger bredvid parkeringen och det finns ingenstans att sitta med utsikt över havet.

Tessa's was just so damn cute. The decor, the colour schemes, the finishes, the accessories... Not to mention having the beach literally at my doorstep! Felt like I had fallen into an Instagram post. The visual ascetic can not be faulted! The staff were lovely, accommodating and efficient. My only criticism is the mattress on our bed was so INCREDIBLY FIRM that instead of a relaxing Sunday massage I was looking for a chiropractor!

Great location. Walk straight out onto the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn't like the fact that there was no bathroom door and had to close the curtains on the sliding door when using the bathroom otherwise people using the walkway out front could see right in.

Absolutely loved Tessa's on the Beach!! Loved the upgrade & all the beautiful finishes on this gorgeous retro boutique Hotel. Loved that it was right on the beach., with the bikeway out front to take us to all locations easily. The staff were amazing, they even took the time to walk us to our room you only have to text & they'll deliver a gorgeous cocktail to your room! Such a beautiful hotel in comparison to all of the very tired looking high rise! Would definitely highly recommend.

Receptionist was great, what they dont tell you is that if you arrive after 8pm they charge your $50 per hour for waiting for you, too bad if you come in on a plane and its held up i have never been asked to pay for such a thing, Also the building can be hard to find in the dark as it is not very well signposted. complementary breakfast is only for Friday and Saturdays im sure the beachfront rooms are fantastic

We found this apartment a little two small for us two adults. It's OK if the weather is favourable, but if you had to stay indoors, you would get cabin fever. We knew the accommodation was next to the airport, but gee the planes were loud. Access to the beach is incredible - just walk out the back gate and you have pristine beach for kms. So, even though we knew it was next to the airport, the beach access won. Parking is first in, first served, otherwise there's free parking on the street.

Location is perfect , have bikes to use as you are a little bit of a walk away from coffee shops/ restaurants or just go for a stroll … rooms are lovely and 50m to a beautiful long sandy beach

This is an old motel that has been renovated to look a little retro and they did a really good job! Short access to a quiet beach away from the crowds. If you want to go out for dinner, be prepared to walk a fair while or get a taxi.

Really beautiful property and right opposite the beach which was amazing to wake up to. I didn't realise breakfast options were available to order so ended up walking to a cafe aabout 1km away. I had a short stay but would recommend staying here.
