Best Western Hotel Goldenmile Milan

I stayed here for a week during the Winter Olympics. Although far from city center, there is a bus across the street that connects you to the metro. I took it everyday! I was surprised to find a nice sushi restaurant near the hotel too. I really appreciated the free hotel parking since I rented a car to visit the alps. The room was very comfortable and quite spacious considering my travel partner and I had 4 suitcases. The staff was nice and I was even given a birthday card and given a free drink to redeem. If you’re from a big city and are used to using public transportation, I believe you’ll have a great stay at this hotel.

Friendly staff at check-in, and the room looked fine at first glance. However, it was quite dirty, especially the walls and curtains. The worst part was the noise. The sound insulation between rooms was extremely poor—I could hear everything from the neighboring room. The person next door talked loudly on the phone until very late and started making noise again early in the morning, so I barely got any rest. The AC was also loud, so I had to turn it off. The bathroom was the only decent part. Breakfast was mediocre at best, 4/10. I asked to check out early due to the noise but was denied because I had booked two nights. While I understand the policy, given how bad the experience was, the hotel should have made an exception. I left after one night and checked into another hotel, even though I had to pay for both. I will not stay here again and do not recommend it.

Super staff, clean room, good breakfast

Great hotel near the center of Milan with free parking. Breakfast is okay, not too fancy, some staff are very friendly but some are not. Reasonable price.
