Best hotel in Santorini . Spa is excellent 10/10 I would definitely stay here again . Staff are friendly and helpful .

Exceeded expectations! We received an upgrade for our stay, the new room was more spacious. The staff was service oriented and very kind. Pools were incredibly pretty and well maintained. Gym was a bit outdated but served its purpose. Food was good but Fira’s restaurants offer a wider variety of food difficult to overcome.

Great place, the photos do not do it justice. Plenty of pools and sun beds, plus indoor pool, bonus on a cloudy day (stayed in October) I would avoid the loft top rooms as ceiling is extremely low and I’m 5ft2. Over fabulous stay

Nice unheated pools, good Ac, great breakfast and location. A little pricey.

The food was very expensive and the buffet was poor. Great if you like salad but their sauce with meat dishes very tasteless. The pools were endless but suffered the usual lack of lounge availability after 8 am and then no one uses them till 4

Excellent property. Beautiful rooms great pools great bars and dining very helpful staff and walking distance to Fira. Nice small walk. Loved our stay would definitely return

The resort is very spacious and maintained well by the staff (they clean the common area from time to time). There are many swimming pools but unfortunately still cold for Apr (would be good if have an indoor pool or hot Jacuzzi). The front gate to supermarket is very near but the pavement is still under construction so the walk is a bit horrible as you might walk on the edge of the road and watch out the traffic. There's also a back end of exit which leads to a main road and has a few restaurants as well. I booked the loft style room for family to stay and it is quite spacious for the area. Kids liked the stay

Parking is a valuable option because walking to center/shopping is walkable form your hotel. El Greco is a beautiful resort and the breakfast is wonderful. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Nice place to stay on Santorini. Only a 5-10 minute walk in Fira. Hotel itself was modern, clean and staff were friendly. Bed and sun loungers were very comfy. Pool towels are given to you from reception. Lovely air conditioned room. Be aware you have to pay the 10 euro tourist tax on arrival. We made use of the gym which was a great facility to have. Things that slightly let the place down: not much variety at breakfast, eggs always consistently cold however tables and plates were always cleared promptly! We found lots of ants in our room on arrival and by the pool area. Saw some reviews regarding noise and as a light sleeper I had no noise complaints! Everything else was great and would definitely recommend.

The El Greco was great. A short walk into Fira with a beautiful view of the caldera from the front of the resort. We really liked that the resort was outside of the crowded part of Fira. Resort was beautiful, rooms are relatively plain on the inside but our room was large and had everything we needed, plus a view of the water on the opposite side of the island. The water on the island isn’t drinkable so they provide a few bottles at check in and give you a map showing you the nearest grocery (a very close 5 minute walk). There are multiple pools which were great, but it was frustrating that others came out at 6am and “reserved” chairs with towels even though they didn’t show for hours. Not El Greco’s fault though! Staff was very helpful and quickly booked us a car to wherever we needed to go on the island. Breakfast at the restaurant was good. Would definitely stay here again!

The shower head was rusted n disgusting , not unacceptable for an htl , rm 600b

Example: the front desk said they do not remember their wifi password for the lobby - how pathetic and so full of lies. Bathrooms stink of sewer. Breakfast has nothing to rave about.

The hotel was contacted twice to arrange pick up from the port but they failed to do so, the reception lady’s were very rude and not helpful. The room was clean but had stains on the mirror, tape on the hairdryer and the beds are so uncomfortable I wouldn’t stay here again over priced for what it is. The lunch food and cocktails are also very average, breakfast was nice.

Centrally located in Thira,close to amenities, family friendly, friendly staff, good food and neat and clean facilities.

Very clean, close to thira market and clean amenities

Lovely clean hotel within walking distance of Fira. Room was very clean, shower lovely, very comfortable beds & Air conditioning was amazing. Struggle to get sunbeds with shade (not enough for all guests) pools lovely and cold, very good service at lunch (little expensive) breakfast good, would of like more fruit. Great place to stay with a family.

The room was always super nice and some very nice maid for service. Good location near Fira. You need only 10 walk to town an if you got a room in the lower levels its is really quite (no street or car noise).

Bel hôtel bien entretenu et bien situé. La chambre était située dans un sous-sol et elle était très sombre. Il n’y avait aucun crochet pour nos serviettes ou nos effets. Chambre aucunement pratique.

The rooms are beautiful but I will say from our room 519 there was load music heard from 12-5am in the morning from a neighbouring property. My one area I would say could do with some improving is the breakfast. I had breakfast at different times during the morning, early and late sittings and unfortunately the eggs were cold on all occasions. Other than this they had a lovely selection including traditional Greek options. Additional to this food served in the restaurants was of good quality. Overall our staff was wonderful. The walk into Thira was about 15 mins and we were right onto the Main Street for dining and shopping. The bus station was also 10-15 mins to get to Oia and this was 2 euro per person. There really isn’t a better location at this price. There is also a supermarkets within 10 mins to buy essentials like water (cannot drink the tap water) for as little as 25c Are flight was late out on our final day and the team were really accommodating allowing us to continue to use the facilities throughout the day. Providing fresh towels and there is an area on site to shower and freshen up. We loved our stay in El Greco and will recommend to all our friends and family. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Views around the properties were indisputable. The caldera sunset views are just across the road. The shops and restaurants are just 10 minutes walk . The hotel is just not too far from the main market square . Perfect location and the amazing service from the staff.would love to come back. We were upgraded to family room which included 2 rooms . My only disappointment was there was only one mirror.

Overall the property was good. However two major call outs that made the property a sub par stay -- (1) the staff was largely unhelpful, did not even provide a buggy service for anything but check in / check out even though one of the travellers had a medical condition; and (2) the water was not desalinated!!! shower water was extremely salty and same for tap water for brushing.....

Staff was great. Maria -concierge was wonderful, helpful and kind. She exemplifies what customer service should be. She is a wonderful asset to this company. Her beautiful smile and energy is contagious.

The staff at this property were mostly very helpful and friendly. There was a time when I was arranging dinner reservations and transportation. I had been to earlier that to make local calls to reach the front desk to make the call for more. During my series of calls the person I spoke to questioned my need to make these calls and clearly sounded annoyed. There is a sidewalk along the street for the 10 minute walk to town. People tend to park on this walkway forcing you to walk in the very busy road. Also, the walkway ends before you actually reach town which also forces walking in the road. I realize that the hotel has no control over this situation but perhaps they could explain this before people venture out. The property was beautiful and as I said most of the staff were wonderful.

We were very pleased with my stay at El Greco Resort. The room was very large compared to other rooms we have stayed in during our travels through Greece. The check in was fast, easy, and convenient. We were particularly pleased with the large, free breakfast buffet. We arrived at the hotel hours prior to our check-in time and they voluntarily told us to join the breakfast buffet while we wait (even though the buffet was not included in our first days stay). The hotel is located a short/easy walk to the main town/shopping district of Théra.

The property was awesome but unfortunately there was construction on the one sidewalk that exists straight down to town and we had to keep walking in the narrow street.

Great resort property. Close to town.

Great for a stay with teens. Plenty of pools & space, comfortable rooms good service. Great location, easy walk to Fira, bus station, supermarket etc which meant everyone could do their own thing

Wir hatten HP. Frühstück war ok, Abendessen ging so. Doof, dass man Abends nur Wasser bekam alles andere muss bezahlt werden.

We had a lovely stay at El Greco. They organised transport from the ferry to the hotel. This was €35 for semi private transfer but we had the vehicle to ourselves. The breakfast was excellent. A good range of fruits, eggs and bacon as well as cereals and pastries. The staff were extremely welcoming at breakfast. Great range of drink choices for morning juices, teas and coffee. We loved a long slow breakfast!!!! We also made use of the gym, it was small but it had everything you need for a workout. The three pools meant that it didn’t feel overcrowded. We could easily walk to Thira and from there we also caught to bus to Oia for €1.60. Lovely stay at El Greco, I would recommend this to my friends.

Fantastic! The hotel is beautiful, breakfast was really good (lots of choice and good quality), our room was incredible, the AC was excellent, the showering facilities for the last day was very good. It was a fantastic stay. The staff were also really helpful. We even hired a quad bike through the hotel and it was the same price as in town (no mark up from the hotel). It was excellent. If there was one potential issue - not nearly enough sun beds. It was almost impossible to get one.

We had a great time at El Greco!!!! The only difference between its advertisement and reality is that the main swimming pool seems bigger in the picture than it really is. Not a big deal, however! The pools are big enough for everyone. El Greco has three bigger pools and three really small - so that future visitors know. /// Their breakfast is great and offers a great variety. Their coffee is delicious! I recommend this hotel to those of you wishing to visit Santorini!
