Superbe hôtel, idéalement placé au centre de la ville haute. Grande chambre hyper propre avec tout ce qu'il faut pour y passer un séjour confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner, café à volonté servi par une gentille hôtesse francophone. Un grand merci aux 2 jeunes dames souriantes de l'accueil pour leur gentillesse et assistance. Pour l'accès à la réception, l'escalier est équipé d'un monte personne (style Stana) pour les personnes à mobilité réduite et ensuite un ascenseur pour les chambres. Nous recommandons.

Très grande et très belle chambre dans le coeur historique de la ville, tout est accessible au pied de l’hotel. Superbe belle et grande chambre et salle de bains. Personnel super. Dommage que l’ascenseur ne soit pas accessible depuis le RDC sur la rue et qu’il faille monter un étage avec les bagages pour accéder à la réception (escalier étroit).

Mitten in der Altstadt von Bergamo liegt das Hotel sehr zentral und wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Es gibt auch eine Parkmögluchkeit in einer Garage, die über das Hotel gebucht werden kann. Es ist natürlich manchmal erwas lauter, da die normalen Zimmer auf eine Piazza mit Restaurant gehen. Nichtsdestotrotz gerne wieder, es gat uns gut gefallen.

Booked overnight stay due to late evening flight into Bergamo. Hotel booked private taxi transfer which was much cheaper, about 10 min drive to Citta Alta. Hotel reception is up a steep set of steps, very friendly staff, lift up to room. Good sized room, good air con. Very low beds but comfortable & very clean. Good bathroom. Very quiet. 1 min walk to large square with lots of bars & restaurants. Super buffet breakfast. Were able to store luggage while we explored Citta Alta which is so beautiful, cobbled streets, gorgeous buildings and shops. Fabulous views over Bergamo, took the funicular further up to castle, and spent hours in restaurant enjoying the views. Definitely recommend and would return again.

The hotel was in an excellent location but you had a set of quite steep steps to get to reception. There was also new pavement laying directly outside. My room was quaint but rather gloomy light wise. The bathroom was modern and good.

The hotel and the staff were lovely! Parking (lack of) is an issue, as is dropping off your luggage (if you have a big suitcase). Neither of these are easy, especially during busy periods. The hotel advises you can drive to drop off your luggage at the front door, but a) the streets are so narrow that you will be blocking pedestrians being able to walk on the street) and b) the hotel is not well sign posted and difficult to find. You should really book a parking spot (which is a a few minutes' walk away) - and ideally the hotel should offer a porter service (as the cobbled street is pretty difficult for suitcases with wheels).

Das Hotel ist mitten in der oberen Altstadt gelegen. Ideal für einen Einkaufsbummel und nahe an gemütlichen Restaurant. Das Parkhaus (25 Euro/Tag) liegt ca 5 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Der Eingang des Hotels ist sehr dezent gehalten und daher nicht audmf den ersten Blick auffindbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das inbegriffene Frühstück ist eher bescheiden, aber völlig ausreichend.

L'hotel è situato nel cuore di Bergamo Alta. Vi si accede da una ripida scalinata per cui se si hanno bagagli pesanti non è il massimo. L'accoglienza è stata ottima, la ragazza cge ci ha accolti è stata gentilissima e disponibilissima per tutto il soggiorno. In bagno ho trovato però dei capelli e dei peli sul pavimento. La doccia aveva le fughe nere e l'acqua non si riusciva a miscelarla bene se non dopo 10 minuti. La stanza dava sulla strada che è si pedonale ma la mattina presto si sentono i chiassosi camioncini che ritirano il vetro e le lattine facendo un baccano infernale. Forse meglio le stanze che danno sul retro. La colazione non abbondante ma buona.

We had room #4 which the shower and bathroom area had severe flood problem when we showered. They didn’t accept to change our room and since we had made two reservations before, last night we had room #12 which was wonderful . Good shower, away from the alley and resturant noise with mountain/city view. Location was great in the heart of the little city center area.

Great location and they assist you with finding parking. The only issues were that the front desk staff is rude and need to go up the stairs with you luggage with no help to do check in and the towels and bed sheets smells very strong like vinegar 😒

The hotel is in the best location, Citta Alta. It could be a bit noisy, especially if you take a room with a view of the street. It is good to remember that when booking. The hotel is nicely maintained and clean, with free of charge water in the room and a good selection of food for breakfast. we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Piazza Vecchia, a small boutique hotel right in the centre of Bergamo. The building has been renovated beautifully with traditional features and decor but also with modern conveniences. We booked a room with a mountain view which had the advantage of being quiet despite the hotel being located in a busy area. The staff were so friendly and helpful in every respect, from providing information about the local area to booking transfers from and to the airport. Breakfast was very good with a good variety of fresh fruit and pastries as well as cold meats and cheese. Then, we were spoilt for choice with the number of restaurants nearby. All in all, I cannot fault this hotel and would highly recommend a stay there.

Great hotel in the heart of Bergamo's old town. Excellent choice if you want to be minutes away from bars, restaurants and the cities medieval sites. Despite its location, the room was quiet and comfortable. There is a flight of stairs to reception then lift access to other floors. Room was spacious, stylish and well appointed. Bathroom was excellent with loads of room. Staff were very helpful and assisted in any way they could. I would definitely recommend if you want to experience the best of Bergamo.

Difficult to access as there are few cabs no Ubers and inconvenient busses. The rooms, though spacious, are spare and somewhat shabby and the lighting is poor. The staff were wonderful though.

We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Piazza Vecchia. It is ideally located right next to Bergamo old square, in the Main Street that is great for walking. We particularly enjoyed the large bathroom in our bedroom. The service was both attentive and competent. The free and flavorful breakfast was also a plus.
