Loved everything about this place. The location is very convenient, and quiet considering it’s near the airport. The staff were lovely, our room was clean and tidy, the bed very comfortable. The free parking and unlimited Costa coffee were the cherry on top.

When I booked they said there was shuttle to the airport only to find out it quit.

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights for an anniversary! Right when we walked in the staff were so friendly and accommodating! They have 24/7 coffee, tea and water bar! The hotel is super clean and the room was so nice and the beds are so so comfy! The breakfast is grab and go style with the perfect variety! This hotel has everything you need, from a little Market are, breakfast, ice machine, pool, gym and a top of the notch cleanliness facility! I would recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone! Will stay here again in the future!! We loved our stay 😁

Property was nice and clean, but their shuttle service only runs 7:00 to 8:30, so you have to factor in these costs when you’re comparing to other hotels that are running expanded shuttle service hours. $25 Uber each way.

I like having access to the coffee 24 seven.

The room was nice and clean but the walls are thin. My neighbors were up late drinking and being loud. I could hear everything and smell the aftermath in the hall. Breakfast was mediocre, the serve chopped eggs, bacon BITS, and potatoes each morning. Coffee was always available. They have a pool and workout room as well. Parking is free and the location is conveniently close to Rosemont fun.

The hotel was clean staff was friendly. The reason we booked the hotel was for our shuttle to the airport and when we checked in the front desk told us the shuttle services ended that day and no longer offered the service. So we had to pay for a taxi both ways.

Our biggest disappointment is that expedia has it as a shuttle service to & from airport, (the reason i picked that hotel). When i asked at check-in, i was told that service was no longer available and that expedia has not updated the website. I had to pay for 2 ubers totalling close to $60. I would of chosen differently if the shuttle was not a part of the stay.

We are family of four with two kids, after a 7hr drive the kids wanted to just unwind and jump in the pool to relax. Upon arrival, the front desk was pleasant. The property itself is well-maintained. But the pool was very dirty. You could not see beyond the second step the pool. It was very cloudy. Property manager was informed and they concluded that the pool was dirty and they need to put shock in it. There after it went out of order. You would think that the pool would be part of Maintenance throughout the day. We checked in after 5:30 in the afternoon. It should have been checked. We were told that it will take two hours to restore the pool. So we decided to go out to dinner. After dinner approximately three hours later, we checked on the pool and it was still out of order and the water was still muggy and dirty. I reached out to Expedia, their only remedy was to credit $20 to my onekey account. Couple of hours later I received an email from Expedia letting me know that unfortunately it could not be processed. Huge disappointment to the children. Also be aware there is a railroad right next to the hotel, you hear the trains go by. In addition, the AC turns on and off throughout the night and it does wake you up. Our bathroom floor also had short black hairs against the wall, which I picked up. I did not want to make a big deal. Overall, I would never recommend this facility nor stay at it again. I also won’t be booking through Expedia anymore!

There was a bad smell when I entered the room. The smell was as if someone just used the room. The hotel should provide some room freshener before assigning the room to a new customer.

I had a wonderful, one-night stay at Avid. It was quiet and the check-in was a great, quick process. Extremely clean and upgraded. Wonderful lobby area.

I booked this hotel for the location. The room's floor was filthy to where my feet were black. There were very loud sounds throughout the evening from neighboring piping and banging coming from the electric room which was right next to our room. The beds were comfortable l, just wish the floor was clean and the disturbing noises that kept me from sleeping could be eliminated.

The evening lady checking us in was very kind, and so was the lady working the overnight shift as we had to check out at 3am to catch a flight. It was comfortable and overall clean, but unfortunately a pillowcase on one of the beds had something disgusting on it. We just put it on the floor of our room as we were only there for one night. Amazing location for the airport.

So disappointed in our stay… I totally understand that it’s a reasonable price. However, the room we were given was disgusting. The sheets had not even been changed, there was a red brown stain and hair all over the sheet. When we went to the front desk to inquire about it the woman said that she could give us sheets that we could change the bedding out ourselves or she had a room that was technically out of order…. We decided to take the out of order room.. but she did not offer to discount our stay or anything. Really terrible customer service and a dreadful experience. Needless to say we will not be staying at another Avid.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Cleanliness of facility and guest room. Conveniently located. Will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others!!!

It was a good stay, We had loud people above us. Kids jumping and running around. Bathroom floor could've been swept better. Hair from other people. But other than that not a bad stay.. I would book again if needed too

The property is hard to get to you have to go aroundabout way to get in.Very dangerous to walk across the streets to get to restaurants and shopping stores.The rooms were very small but very nice.

Everything was great except the tv/internet situation. In other hotels, i can use an hdmi to play from my computer. This hotel has it set to only be able to google cast, which would be fine, except it only worked sparingly.

Single king room very small (desk almost touches bed when used), very loud all night as far as doors slamming and sounding like people above room stomping at all times. Lobby area was clean with coffee at all times, friendly staff, safe neighborhood with plenty of dining options.

Basic, clean but hard/cold Formica room, cheap breakfast options. Huge prices on snack/convenience items.

The hotel seems like a newer build and in great condition. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I will definitely stay here again

I love the services checking in. Too much noise. We can hear people fluching toilets. Music. Not the best experience to be my first stay. Other then that it was good.

The temperature unit did not work properly in room #305. It generated loud noise, and did not generate cold air. Reported to the front desk. They told us they fixed it, but it did not fix it. Still got loud noise the next evening, and no cold air when we returned back to the room around 11:30 PM. Very disappointed about the room condition.

The building was obviously constructed with the cheapest materials possible as the walls and floors were incredibly thin. All noise from the hallways, adjacent rooms and floors about and below traveled easily. The non carpeted floors did not help with the noise from above and only accentuated the sounds of suitcases and chairs rolling. I would highly recommend requesting a to floor room.

A nice room, updated and comfortable! Plenty of places nearby for dining and convenience. My only gripe is that the walls seemed to be made of paper, so turn your white noise machines to 10.

Quick overnight stay near O'Hare. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, simple, European looking design. Quiet.

I stayed 5 nights (starting 09/25/24) and then booked 2 additional nights (starting 09/30/24 until 10/02/25). On 09/30/24, I requested to the front desk personnel a complete room cleaning and also housekeeper manager at desk said it would be done on 09/30. I stressed there was no toilet, no Kleenex and room needed cleaning. I left for the evening at 2:00 pm and reminded again and front desk person assured me the room would be clean and it was not. My husband went to front desk to pick up toilet paper and clean towels when we arrived around 9:40 pm to the hotel . I need a complete room cleaning still, so can somebody do what was stated on 09/30, that the room be cleaned. Manager please take note as a clean room is important.

After ridiculous flight delays, and a last minute on-line booking, since we thought we would have to spend 4 hours in Chicago before immediately going back to the airport, our flight was diverted to Greensboro and we never went to Chicago. Regardless, the avid refused to refund my money, although we never checked in. It just sucks.

Amazing, Friendly and Helpful staff, and Great Breakfast Crew. My 91 year old Grandma came in from El Salvador to meet us for the 1st time, the lobby looked great, was very clean and quiet, in the morning they had a pretty good selection of smaller breakfast items and they were kept stocked. They treated us like family! Thank you! The room itself was very nice and clean!

This hotel and staff was great! After a crazy travel day and experience the staff at the desk went out of their way to make my bad day a lot better! Clean, comfortable, and great! Will be staying again next year on our trip to the hockey games.

The staff are very friendly, even when you are going in and out, they always acknowledge you. Room was clean, service was great.

I stay at this Avid many times a year, and will not stay any where else. The staff is very nice especially the young ladies who work the night shift which is when I usually check in.

The staff was extremely rude. They made my boyfriend sit in the lobby for almost an hour unnecessarily before they allowed him to check in. They also were extremely unprofessional chatting amongst themselves in their native language and it was obvious the discourse was about my boyfriend. He felt uncomfortable and discriminated against.

Avid was a great hotel! It was super clean and the staff was very friendly. The area is really close to the airport but a bit far off from Chicago city. The area has a lot of food choices and grocery stores nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re fine being a bit far off from the city center!

The receptionist was excellent. Hotel is clean and in a good area. Walked to shopping and to the Allstate Arena for a concert. Felt very safe. Would stay here again!

The front desk clerk was fabulous, room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Just a short 4 minute drive to the Rivers Casino for the concert we attended. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety of hot and cold items. We would stay her again definitely.

Stayed for 4 nights. Very satisfied with our stay. The beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. Water, coffee, and tea available all day. Lots of parking spaces and close shops and eateries.

Very nice hotel and convenient location to everything. Just would have liked different breakfast option then Jimmy Dean sandwich that was really dry.

Great trip! We enjoyed the hotel, the quick east breakfast, and the place was clean. We appreciated that all the staff we encountered were very friendly.

This stay was absolutely wonderful! The staff was so friendly! It was so clean! The grab and go breakfast was fabulous! I will 100% stay here again!

It was a good and comfortable stay.. we were there for 4 days, house keeping tidied the room every day and the on day 2 they replaced sheets and everything. There are no microwaves in the room or ice machine on floors — only in lobby. The breakfast was good on the first morning we were there but other days it was stale. Not sure if there were different cooks; and not much options to choose from but that’s the only improvement I’d recommend. I enjoyed my stay though!

The location was fantastic, conveniently close to the airport. However, be aware that you need to reserve the shuttle a day in advance. Breakfast was decent, and coffee is available around the clock. The front desk staff were exceptional—very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is fairly new, so everything inside looks pristine.

The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was decent; we were there for 3 mornings and only 1 had bananas that were edible. The room wasn't sound proof, but not bad.
