We had a lovely view of the city. Appartment was really nice and light. Balcony was nice. Only negative was the elevators. At one point of time two of three elevators were out of service and taking the elevator could take like 10 minutes because you had to wait so long....

There are two towers in the complex named "eve" and "Ivy". When looking for a room number one starts with number 1 and the other 2. Not the names they gave them. The carpark signage and information is terrible, as is access to the building via the carpark as when some muppet parks in the entrance (as we had) the rear of your car is in a flowing traffic lane, therefore annoying the crap out of anyone behind you. There was a petition sign in the lift about the parking (for residents) so were obviously not the first to complain about it. We also received a phone call from Hotels.com about an hour before our arrival advising we had free parking at the apartment due to our Gold Status. On arrival the staff knew nothing about it and it took 10 minutes with them to sort it out. An annoying start to a weekend away. This is the second (and last) Cllix apartment we've stayed at in Brisbane in the last year. The saving is not worth the hastle.

Small apartment within walking distance to a great transport hub. Excellent restaurants and cafe nearby, with a great vibe near by in Fish Lane. It has a pool spa and gym room, added bonus was a pizza oven and a projector for movies in the common area. One down note was that one of the 3 lifts was out of service for our stay of 4 days, which means it can be a long wait to get the lift in the morning and late afternoons.

Awesome place . Good value for money and staff super fireindly . Couldn’t use the balcony however as the handle was broken with screws hanging out . Also couldn’t use garbage chute as it wasn’t working and I didn’t feel comfortable taking rubbish to the underground car park at 5 am in the dark. I don’t think we should have to do that. Would still stay there again

The rooms are really spacious, great for longer stays with kitchen, laundry facilities. The bed was comfortable, and the room was mostly clean, except for a thick layer of dust in the cupboard. The view was great, and the room was great. It's just everything else is a bit lacklustre: the gym was really poorly maintained and rusty. The pool wasn't clean, and the spa was out of order. Otherwise quite good.

This property is in a great central location with many food and transport options available nearby. Only issue I had was with the availability of the lifts. Strangely, one lift was taken out of service at the peak check out time which qas very inconvenient.

Very central location, excellent facilities, clean and comfortable beds. Parking was a nightmare with no instructions given to access the parking garage. I ended up ringing after great difficulty finding a number. Was told to park in the loading zone with hazard lights then come into the building to check in. Loading zone was full resulting in a stressful and chaotic rush hour round the block multiple attempts. A simple answer would be to provide a check in area and an information sheet with booking information. Or a pin code to park prior to check in. The stress of getting there really ruined our experience unfortunately.

Staff were very friendly and the apartments are very convenient to Southbank and QPAC. The beds were comfortable and kitchen reasonably well appointed. Unfortunately it is in need of a good deal of maintenance with loose tiles in the shower under foot which made it quite unstable. The air conditioning is very loud.. good if you like white noise to sleep to but otherwise you’ll be awake all night. Apartment was also not the cleanest with exhaust vents full of dirt and dust. Some renovations needed to get up to scratch for the amount you pay.

A clothes moth infestation and dysfunctional customer support meant our stay was very disappointing. We were shocked by the lack of cleanliness and hygiene. I have no idea how the hundreds of dead and living moths, including badly eaten carpet and many dead moths on the roll-up blinds and wardrobe, weren't picked up on before our stay. Whilst we were able to change rooms eventually, we unfortunately had to make several trips to the foyer to remind the receptionists that we were being provided with a new room and no one proactively provided us with support. Compensation was minimal considering the disruption to our stay and delay in providing adequate customer support.

The rooms are in need of a massive refresh. Dirty, worn, tired. I have stayed here at least once a year for about 10 years because of the great location for events and shopping. It has lost its shine inside. Also had to argue for free parking (first time ever) despite saying free parking on their listing. We had five rooms total and one was okay. One had not been cleaned at all. I will be looking at other places in the future.

The smell in the unit was overpowering. It was like a mouldy carpet smell that permeated everything from the lounge to the bedding. We opened all of the doors and windows but the smell didn’t dissipate. It was so bad that our clean clothing we took with us had to be washed when we got home because the smell got into everything. The beds were as hard as the floor. There was no give whatsoever. I've never experienced anything like it. Both beds were like sleeping on solid ground. Angela at the front desk had mattresses toppers put on the second night but they were as thin as a doona so didn’t really help. She was lovely though. The first night when we arrived I told the reception about the beds but she said there was nothing they could do about it but possibly the following night. We were sent to our room's assigned parking spot but there was another car in it. I called the hotels number and was told to move to a different spot. When I went to the desk to tell her about the issue with the beds, she said she knew why someone was in our spot and that we couldn't park in the new spot we were given and needed to move our car to the 4 hour visitor parking for the duration of our stay. Angela was lovely but the rest of our experience was the worst hotel encounter we've ever had.

Superb location and very clean, well maintained apartment. in a great building. The only drawback was that the bed we had in our apartment was terrible and a source of back pain for us both. It really does need replacing.

The aircon is pretty poor, can’t put it below 20. Water pressure in the shower isn’t the greatest. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced stay in a pinch sure but I’d book elsewhere next time

This is an excellent property in a central location. There was secure entry to the unit as well as parking. The apartment was well equipped. The only negative comment I have is regarding the internet connection. I stayed for 3 nights, the internet issue could not be resolved and I had to use my phone data plan.This will be an important consideration for me.

It was very good except they called me and messaged me multiple times on the days leading up to the stay to confirm arrival time, which i thought was weird when i had answered them all with the same arrival time. Once would have been suffice. And when we arrived, there was no where to park for the check in, so had to half park on the footpath on a busy one way street, so i got out and ran in while the mrs parked in the car waiting incase it had to be moved. When i got in there, the room wasnt ready, and had to wait for atleast 20 minutes for them to sort something out. My partner had to drive around the block multiple times in a panic, as she had not ever had driven in a big city. The room made up for this original blunder being absolutely beautiful, clean, couldnt ask for more. Will be staying there again. But they do need to sort something out with check in parking.

Arrived at hotel and no ealry checkin, which is fine. Went to the hotel after checkin time and checked in, got a key and went to the room. Opened the door and was a bit shocked to see stuff in the room, called out and there were other people already staying in that room. Went to reception and they seemed confused and ended up finding me another room with an apology but nothing else. Trecked to the other building dragging my bags again and went to the room. No checkin bottle of wine as per hotel benifits for status. Room was suitable. There was no balcony furniture at all, despite all photos having a small outdoor setting. Room had no evac diagram, no compendium so no idea of there was a trash chute or how to use services. Had a dirty towel in the room. Apart from that, as clean as a room might be expected. The hotel still takes a $200 deposit, where a lot of other properties have stopped doing this, a small thing but a pain when in and out of hotels all week. The deposit was returned quite quickly though. On a general note there is no spot for taxi pick up and drop off on an extremely busy street. The building is in an excellent location with access to excellent services, however the rooms are and experience are not as good as other properties in South Brisbane. I had some concerns about room security after being handed keys to an occupied room and dissappointed that no effort was made to make up for the extraordianry mix up or lack of welcome gift.

Went to reception and they seemed confused and ended up finding me another room with an apology but nothing else. Trecked to the other building dragging my bags again and went to the room. No checkin bottle of wine as per hotel benifits for status. Room was suitable. There was no balcony furniture at all, despite all photos having a small outdoor setting. Room had no evac diagram, no compendium so no idea of there was a trash chute or how to use services. Had a dirty towel in the room. Apart from that, as clean as a room might be expected. The hotel still takes a $200 deposit, where a lot of other properties have stopped doing this, a small thing but a pain when in and out of hotels all week. The deposit was returned quite quickly though. On a general note there is no spot for taxi pick up and drop off on an extremely busy street. The building is in an excellent location with access to excellent services, however the rooms are and experience are not as good as other properties in South Brisbane. I had some concerns about room security after being handed keys to an occupied room and dissappointed that no effort was made to make up for the extraordianry mix up or lack of welcome gift.

Very disappointing stay. This is our second time staying at the Ivy & Eve, as we enjoyed our first stay. Unfortunately, this did not live up to expectations. Our first hurdle was the room was not what I had booked - smaller and a double bed not king. I had requested early check-in as a Platinum Expedia Member in advance, which I understand is subject to availability. Upon arriving at reception, my request was immediately dismissed and my free upgrade denied. I understand it was a busy weekend in Brisbane, however the communication lacked. We were told a message would be sent when the room was ready, which never arrived. After check-in and receiving the incorrect room, we were told that all rooms were at capacity for the night. I agreed that if we can be upgraded to a better room the following day, we will accept this room for the night. We were informed I would receive messages of the updated booking, and we could check in from 10-11am the next day. I did not receive any messages, and we again had to wait to rebook the room which wasted our time. This was not sorted the previous day as promised. The new room was as expected, the layout and bed size I had booked. Not an upgrade. This was a messy start to our trip - in addition to this the room was filthy in every area. The sofa was horrifically stained, skirting boards and floors covered in dust and dirt. The area is amazing near South Bank - however book elsewhere. The cost of the hotel does not justify what you get.

This was our second stay at Ivy & Eve, on each occasion we had a great overall experience the staff are exceptional & know how to engage with customers, from Ina at reception & the other reception staff they are most welcoming not to forget Milo the maintenance man who was fantastic. The apartment size & layout were exceptional the facilities in the apartment were excellent not to mention the city view from the balcony, parking at the venue was on pay per night basis but we also had ample spaces for visitors. I would highly recommend Ivy & Eve where you will not regret your stay here.

We have stayed at these units before and really enjoyed our stay so didn’t hesitate in booking it again. Our first 2 hours at the apartment were riddled with issues, but the staff were apologetic and prompt with correcting the problems - ending with a change of unit. The staff saved the day and our mini-holiday. They are an absolute credit to the business. They turned what would’ve been a 2/5 star review to 5/5. Give them a pay rise! They deserve it. Thank you!

Great location. Very clean apartment with good amenities supplied. Allowed us an early check-in and reception staff very friendly. Good quality towels and bedding provided. Great location - close to restaurants/bars and city centre. Would highly recommend - we stayed here last year too.

I checked in after hours when the reception has already closed. The communication from staff is terrible. Instead of informing me the room number and which building the room is in, I had to call them multiple times to tease out the necessary entry instruction. The bathroom is filled with multiple tiny flies so I had to buy fly spray in order to use the shower. The rubbish chute is located close to my room but it was dysfunctional, so other residents left rubbish near the chute resulting bad smell near the area whenever I entered or left room. The cleanliness of other kitchen appliances including kettle was also so dirty that rendered it unusable. The overall decor of room can only be described as run down. When I needed extra towels/shower items (once the original supply ran out), I need to get it from the reception during opening hours. Due to the above issues listed, I will not return to this service apartment for future visit.

Property was perfect for my needs over the weekend, however there was zero knowledge of Expedia Gold VIP perks, so, property is great, just don't go here if you are going because its a VIP property, that means nothing here.

I had a conference at the Convention Centre and Ivy & Eve was the perfect location, right across the road! The facilities were great, a great apartment for everything I needed. The 1 bedroom apartment was more than comfortable for 2 people. Very reasonable price. Added bonus it was right next to Fish Lane! So many options for a feed. I had a wonderful riverview apartment and it was in such a good location for morning or evening walks along the river. The complex also had a secure carpark which was handy. Would definitely stay again.

If you like staying in the middle of a construction site this is this is the place for you !! 3 buildings being built on each side of you …. You can see and watch the cranes and workers doin there thing . Forget having a conversation on the balcony you won’t hear a thing ! Spa that you share with everyone else is nice though …

Currently at the property there a construction next door, So no place to park to check-in. Also there are 2 towers so very confusing when you park and go up the wrong lift. Had a call the day before, but no mention of this :(

Not real clean. Carpets stained and walls scuffed and marked. Shower in one bathroom leaked onto floor during use and sink was partially clogged so slow to drain. This bathroom also had a cracked mirror that was taped up. Great location snd view though so disappointing.

Ivy & Eve has been our go-to place to stay on Southbank for many years. It was going downhill in terms of cleanliness, but it appears to be getting some revitalising love lately. Our room was updated, clean, and had a nice view of the city. Great location to get to QPAC and west end.
