A great beautifully located getaway . Stunning surroundings Great local walks and pubs . We BBQâ€™d the first night and relaxed with wine and beers . Slept like a log . Lovely local eggs and produce and a nice Prosecco welcome and fruits and chocolates .

A perfect place for a quiet retreat. The lodge had everything you might need and the grounds were tranquil and inviting. We had such a warm welcome and loved seeing the hens and Sanna not only brought over some freshly baked sour dough bread but brought a little chick that had been born that morning for us to see. We spent a delightful evening sitting by the lake watching out for the kingfisher. Thank you.
