good hotel all together just no parking

Best location, clean, friendly, great staff, and excellent bar.

Excellent location. Clean. Quiet. High quality everything. Comfortable bed. Loved the iPad features to control lights and screen share on the TV. Evening bar and board games was awesome too.

The hotel is an easy walk to major tourist destinations and is in a safe area. There is no parking but the hotel offers promotional price for a nearby parking lot. Its worth the price of you are parking overnight or longer. The water side view is primarily the Seattle ferry but is still an amazing view. There is a lack of convience stores near the hotel and no complementary water bottles in the room so keep that in mind. There is free refilling of filtered water in the lobby so being your own bottle. It is fairly noisy due to it being next to the seattle ferry and the main road but is not too bad with the hotel's sound dampening.

Felt very modern and sleek. Everything was clean and requests for additional towels/pillows were answered quickly. The rooms were very small and cozy. Perfect for single travelers or great for couples who don’t need a bunch of space. Parking can get difficult or expensive if you do not use their newly offered garage. It can be a bit of a walk to get there so loading and unloading by the property is a must if you have a lot of bags. Traffic surrounding the hotel can get bad! If you’re planing to grab a Lyft or drive around plan ahead. The waterfront by the hotel had some memorable but expensive food and nick knacks. Highly recommend trying out the line bikes/scooters on every corner to get to nearby stores/dinning. Some homeless people around but we didn’t feel unsafe. The hotel gets locked at night so only guests can enter.

Easy check in. Beautiful lobby. Spotless room with just the right amenities. Great price. Wonderful breakfast . The only addition would be water glasses in the room.

This modern facility is quaint with a friendly staff & a killer breakfast buffet option. Rooms are small but comfortable with new technology. Location is perfect for strolling on Alaskan Way for food & shopping options.

Clean and updated , very electronically savvy hotel. Bed is very comfortable, rooms are small and bathrooms are small but nice. Small fridge in room. Efficient check in and checkout with tablets in the lobby. Location is excellent for stadiums and pioneer square as well as fairy services!

Close to everything. Simple amenities but had a bar that was open late with friendly bartenders. Staff was very helpful.

Hotel was overall nice. Wish the hotel had parking options. When you call, you are prompted to a website for parking which is an online booking only. Once we arrived the hotel then mentioned if you’re staying you can get a discounted rate. This was not mentioned on the website or over the phone. Could have saved us over $50 for the weekend. The hotel does not offer AAA discount but hikes rates for events. Location was good, room was clean and functional.

Just one thing, there were no wash cloths provided.

The room was so small, like a cabin room on a cruise ship. They don’t provide any washcloths and most everything is controlled from a tablet in the room and half the time it wouldn’t connect to the necessary app. Otherwise, the room was very clean and the lobby and amenities were pretty cool

Hotel designed for short people. No room cleaning.

The room is rather small. Bathroom privacy is not the best. Definitely splurge and get a room with a view!

None of the technology/lights/blinds worked. There was an ipad to control all of it and it did not work. The bathroom door did not shut. It was about 200 square feet.

Great location, loved the room settings on the iPad and the black out curtains and bed made for a great nights sleep. Perfect to explore downtown or attend a concert or sports event.

The location is great. The service was friendly and prompt. The rooms are smaller than any hotel room I have ever stayed in. I don't expect 2K sq. ft., but for the bed to be surrounded by three walls is for kids, not adults.

Very modern and clean. The room was the width of the bed and the bed is only accessible from ont side as it was against 3 walls, so if you are staying with someone you will have to crawl over them to get in and out of bed.

We were a bit surprised by how tiny the room was in this hotel, and the view from our window was a hideous, pigeon dropping covered window. However, as tiny as it was, the room did have everything we needed, and I’m sure we could’ve located the rooms dimensions had we looked closer—so that’s on us. The toilets are what I can only describe as just like the toilet in an RV, one of our soap pumps didn’t work, and the chrome cast worked when it wanted to. Other than that, we had a good time here. The location is great, the decor is cool, and most of the staff at the front desk and bar were also really great. Having guests “check themselves in”, when in reality, the front desk staff member just walks you through that process struck us as kind of inefficient, and a couple of times I asked for what I would consider very basic, classic cocktails at the bar and was met with “idk what that is” or “we can only make the ones on the menu” which…is not how bars work? And espresso martinis are not on the menu, yet, I had at least one everyday. The bartender working on Sunday, 8/17, at around 3pm, (I regret not getting her name, she had amazing gel-x nails she does herself)—she’s fantastic. There’s no shame in not knowing what’s in a drink, discuss it with the customer, google it, make it a conversation. That girl can show the rest of them how that’s done. Overall, it’s obvious that management here cares how things are run and how people are treated, and we appreciated that very much.

Check in was easy, lobby and restaurant and bar nice, and breakfast excellent. Bed comfortable however pushed up against wall as room is extremely small. Makes getting in and out with a partner extremely difficult.

The rooms are very small compaired to but the snart room and ambience was very cool!

The staff were extremely helpful dealing with a technology system wide issue that impacted door keys and all the room environment controls. They were responsive to all our needs and got the systems up and running. Great stay

This will the my last stay at citzenM...to be clear the rooms are not much bigger than Sprinter van, so if youre in the room, all you can do is watch TV...the digital reception was terrible, they said they would send someone...they did not. In the middle of the night the TV keep turing its self on disrupting sleep...called reception twice...again, no follow up. The next moring I asked to speak to the manager, apparently she was at the bar and could not be disturbed. I explained the problem to one of the staff...she said they would send someone up to resolve the problem, again, no follow up. We ended up checking out a day early. The property was clean, however, service and staff are in need of improvement.

Property and staff were great, our tv did not work during the entirety of our stay however after voicing that with the front staff and them letting us know it was a global internal issue they were working on with the iPads in the room and the tvs not connecting, they comped us breakfast for the next morning. Appreciated the extra touch. Location is pretty great and in walking distance to most things. Would recommended this location for stays in the future.

The staff were so warm and inviting. We had an issue with our sink and front desk helped us out no problem. The breakfast is above average for hotel breakfast. The rooms are small but have everything you need with some storage. The shower was my favorite part. The view on the 8th floor was incredible. The hotel is conveniently placed next to the ferry and a 11 minute walk to Pike Place. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will stay again if I'm in the area.

Our room was not ready, we had to wait an hour, food wasn’t on time, bartenders were slow and not very happy.

Overall, I had a good experience staying at CitizenM. One comment about check-in is that it is an online process, so you don't have the benefit of being welcomed by a staff member who could answer questions about your stay, etc. A person is standing by to assist you and others who are checking in, but in my experience, they were pretty hands-off.

We always stay at Citizen M when we drive up to watch the Mariners. We love the excellent customer service provided by Cheyenne (she makes a good Bailey’s & coffee) and the ones at the front desk provide excellent assistance with check-in plus additional info about locations & things to do.

Perfect location just across from the ferries and piers. The lobby and bar definitely had a vibe with people chatting, eating, drinking and overall having an enjoyable time. Staff were attentive and courteous. Checking in was very simple and quick. The hotel decor including the lighting, carpets, and art work are moody and interesting to the eye. The room was very cozy, functional, with everything well appointed. I'm not an iPAD user but it was easy to operate the TV, temps, lighting, and blinds on it. Best of all was the bed--so comfortable and the pillows and duvet had me curled up in a ball. No complaints or issues.

The hotel was great. The staff was good. The area around the hotel was a little sketchy. Its a major city and that is to be expected.

Rooms are SMALL. The area across to water nice, up the street not great, close to ballparks if watching a game. Ferry super close.

It's location and view were the best thing about this property. It sits right on the edge of Pioneer Square and the Waterfront. With the light rail, I only spent $6 getting to and from the airport. With the shuttle provided by the city, I was able to see all my desired destinations without any additional cost. Yes, the room is smaller than a cruise cabin, but it was okay for one person. The bed was huge but very hard for me. The I-pad was easy to use. The breakfast was okay. The staff was friendly.

Very convenient location, close to the ferry, and about a 15-20 min walk to pike place. Scooters are also an option and very fun.

I enjoyed my stay at CitizenM. The room was clean and organized. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. While not a knock on the hotel, the excessive homelessness in the area kills the vibe.

Our trip was great. We knew the room was small, but it was a new kind of small. Fortunately, it was summer and we were hardly in our room. My only complaint was we returned to the hotel after a concert at Lumen Field. There was not enough help to serve the number of people there. My husband sat up at the bar for 45 minutes before he got help. After he ordered, we waited for the nachos for an additional 45 minutes. They never did come, and we had to wait for a refund and just went to bed.

I had a wonderful 3 night stay at CitizenM. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The breakfast bar was amazing! Fresh fruit, protein, eggs and a variety of bread. Great location! Walkable and scenic.

The staff was young and friendly. Had a great experience with the canteen and bar staff - they make wonderful flat whites and cocktails 💜 thank you! Food for breakfast was mostly good with a few small exceptions where the scrambled eggs were cold. Thankfully, there was a microwave to use. Rooms need more tp and bigger trash cans. The tiny one doesn't really cut it. I know the rooms are small but you could still fit in a bigger can that matches the room easy next to the sink/storage shelves

Excellent: bed, view from the room, comfort, shower, quiet, excellent and affordable breakfast buffet, friendly staff, inviting lobby area, great location. Not so great: needing to download an app to control climate, lights and TV in the room. I would definitely stay again despite the tech turnoff!
