Castle Inn. It is a unique stay. The reception is two flights up the stairs. You have to know the code to get in. Might need to ask for that depending on when you’re arriving. They do have a 24 seven desk, but they don’t always hear it. One problem is accessibility by Taxi. You have to get left off and walk to the end over cobblestones. It is straight up from the statue and at the Royal castle. Beware Taxi take advantage and overcharge happened to me. Make sure you get a price before you get in. Also for pick up the closer roads may be closed so you may have to walk up a block or two. Best they have your cell number if there is a change.

Superb location and great value. No elevator, though, and there are a few rooms basically right in the lobby/reception. I didn’t get one of those rooms, but am pretty sure my rating would be much different if I had.

NO PARKING, NO ELEVATOR. Very difficult for mobility impaired. Had to walk a long distance with baggage. Close to night life, but the noise did cut off at 11:00 p.m.

Property is in perfect spot, you can walk everywhere, lots of restaurants and bars around, different transport options and staff was excellent. Hotal is in the center of old town so taxis are not coming directly to the hotel, you need to walk about 150 m to the property and there is no lifts as hotel is located in 500 year old building.

The Castle Inn is superbly situated immediately next to the Royal Palace. It is quirky - perhaps a mix of retro and classical - comfortable and the service is excellent. The bathroom was well appointed but the water pressure was too low to enable a decent shower. Access by car is difficult, especially on the weekend. The car can get no closer than 130 metres from the hotel.

The front desk staff were amazing—very friendly, professional, and helpful—and the room itself was very clean. The location is also excellent and convenient for getting around. However, I can’t say I really enjoyed my stay overall. The room’s design tries very hard to be “unique,” but it sacrifices practicality and doesn’t make much logical sense. This all made for a rather uncomfortable stay. For example, there were three chairs (two hard wooden "antique" chairs that needed padding and a pleather loveseat that just faced into the room) but nowhere convenient to put our luggage. There was also a vanity, but none of the chairs were the right height or style to use with it comfortably. The bed was also quite uncomfortable. So they sacrificed substance for style but the “artsy” elements felt a bit slapdash and cheap rather than thoughtfully designed. Overall, it just didn’t feel very well thought out from a guest’s perspective. I think it could have been amazing, but then it probably would have been out of my price range.

absolutely the worst place ever. the building is 500 years old and it immediately smells like wet rotten towel once you open the door. I and my wife got so sick while staying here. if you wish to enjoy your stay, don't consider this place.

The location and view from my corner room of the royal palace and courtyard were great. The smell of the building was bad. There was black mold growing on the inside of the water carafe the hotel provided. I complained to the front desk of a large spider in the room and asked if they could remove it, and they said spiders are common at the property and there’s nothing they can do.

Location and staff, all of the staff I, met are amazing... However, and this is a big however, the room is....let's say still stuck in the communist era, the bed is so uncomfortable my entire body hurts, the carpet is very old ... Internet goes in and out....mainly out..ugh No elevator, and while you will get help to your room if you ask, the reception is on the 2nd floor, so you need to carry your luggage at least one long flight of stairs, and if you are traveling for a month like me and need different types of clothing, the suitcase is too heavy for that... So while the location is fantastic and the staff are so very nice, I wouldn't recommend this place....this is not an $85 USD before tax, no breakfast off season room.....regardless of price, its just a no for me

Placed right on Castle Square, this hotel was excellent. We selected a large room with a view ànd it was large and faced thé Castle. I have read that other rooms were small. I had also read that some rooms were noisy but ours was quiet on March. The staff was exceedingly helpful. The breakfast was OK. There was excellent Gree coffee available on demand. I saw no other place in the old market square area. It was perfect for us.

Ideal location in old city- central, right on the square near .. everything-the palace, churches, Jewish quarter and great restaurants. But..as for the room, the mattress should be replaced and the pillows. Not comfortable for us! However the location overrode that for a few nights. Great shower. Helpful friendly staff.

Such an amazing spot! If I come back to Warsaw, I would want to stay here in room 33 again, overlooking the town square but far enough from road traffic to sleep with the window open all night. Lovely, lovely!

If you want to be next to the Palace in Old Town, then ok. No air, noisy and the inn was dated. The girls at the desk were very nice. Price was right.

Really unique, historic property literally 15 steps (really!) from the Warsaw Castle in Old Town. Location is amazing for experiencing the beauty of historic Warsaw and its cobbled and charming streets. Our room was huge, with high ceilings and its own fun ambience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside is that there's no elevator, so most guests will have to navigate a couple of flights of stairs. Despite this, I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at this hotel is simply amazing. I've been to many hotels throughout Europe and this was the first time ever when I truly felt welcomed. The ladies immediately offered us coffee and a tour of the hotel. Their help went above and beyond more than once. One time, I went to a laundromat a few miles away and I paid with a 100 note zloty and accidentally got about 68 zloty back in "2 zloty" coins. The lady at the hotel gladly exchanged it back into paper money for me. She didn't have to do that but she did. The AC was great too! The room was beautiful as well. We stayed in room 14. Room 14 is literally next to the reception so we were concerned with noise. But the room is completely silent! This was the best hotel we stayed in throughout Poland.

Room 14 is literally next to the reception so we were concerned with noise. But the room is completely silent! This was the best hotel we stayed in throughout Poland.

I arrived late and front desk gave me the wrong room. I didn’t say anything because I was tired. Room was more like a storage room. And it was frigid cold! Next morning someone new in front desk apologized for room and transferred me to a beautiful and spacious room! Thank you. Hotel and location amazing. Lots of dining options, just keep in mind taxis will drop off about a block since are is restricted. Short walk. Overall a fantastic stay and I would stay again!

Location was excellent as was the staff. It is really difficult to get a good night's sleep with all of the noise but there really is no way to avoid that due to the location. Also, there are lots and lots of steps and no elevator.

Property is in perfect spot, you can walk everywhere, lots of restaurants and bars around, different transport options and staff was excellent. Hotal is in the center of old town so taxis are not coming directly to the hotel, you need to walk about 150 m to the property and there is no lifts as hotel is located in 500 year old building.

Perfect location for anyone planning on visiting Old Town. An incredibly friendly, clean hotel (get the breakfast!) with a knowledgeable staff. Thanks to the location it’s easy to walk to many attractions or to join tours to others. Absolutely recommend; I’ll stay here again if I ever return to Warsaw.

The Castle Inn is superbly situated immediately next to the Royal Palace. It is quirky - perhaps a mix of retro and classical - comfortable and the service is excellent. The bathroom was well appointed but the water pressure was too low to enable a decent shower. Access by car is difficult, especially on the weekend. The car can get no closer than 130 metres from the hotel.

Awesome location off the main square by the Old Castle. Plenty of sites & restaurants within walking. Only hassle is finding parking. Staff was excellent and very helpful! Had breakfast there one day; the food was great (European Breakfast) and they made me as much coffee as I needed! Highly recommended! Will go there again in a heartbeat!

My room had a fantastic view of the castle and square. Super friendly overnight reception staff (and hotel mascot dog Luka!). Excellent location! I would have tried breakfast, but it’s a small room and I didn’t want to commit to a specific seating time or particular breakfast meal the day before, so just be aware it’s not quite as flexible as a breakfast buffet at a larger hotel. Plenty of options in the neighborhood though!

Our room was comfortable (thanks to the air conditioner) and clean and the bed was just right! But what makes this a great place to stay is the location. If you want to explore Old Town, the Castle Inn makes a wonderful choice. The staff is also lovely and were able to communicate well with us in English. (Note: You do need to be able to climb stairs and the tub had high sides, so this could be another reason why folks with mobility issues may want to think twice.)
