Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone

Excellent new hotel. Very helpful staff. Good on site restaurant but would recommend booking in advance as it gets busy. Great room overlooking the track. Car park not finished yet but plenty of acceptable parking.

Classy looking hotel. It was perfect for driving experience the next day. We loved the views from the bar/restaurant across the track. The room was well appointed with a great king size bed. It would have been nice to have more on the hospitality tray, maybe biscuits & hot chocolate and also water in the fridge which I thought Hilton hotels always offer? The car parking is obviously an issue but there were directions & explanations so it didn’t bother us and we were grateful to be able to leave the car there while doing the driving experience, able to walk over the bridge to the site. Reception staff were great, sorry didn’t get their names.

I enjoyed an excellent solo stay during a BRSCC race weekend, with a superb balcony view of Hamilton Straight. Everything was modern and clean and I felt like royalty! Very comfortable bed, well-designed room with A/C and nice shower too. Easy parking in the newly finished car park, and it's ideal being just a couple of mins from Silverstone entrance. The 24/7 ground floor snack shop by reception is a life saver, and there's a starbucks coffee too which was nice to start my morning off with! Only minor complaint/constructive feedback is the room service menu is very limited (mostly vegan options), and there was no menu in the room so had to ask reception. They told me there was no online menu, so I phoned room service to ask what they had to offer and was told there WAS a menu if I turned on the TV and scanned a QR code. Wouldve been helpful for reception to have known about this to save all the back and forth. Also would've been useful to know the rooftop bar was closed, and I had questions about the hotel such as accessibility to the bridge over the circuit but receptionist wasn't too helpful other than signing me in. Overall it's well worth the stay if you're visitng the museum or circuit for an event!

Hard to accsess due to car park work

The Hilton Garden Inn - Silverstone: A very nice and spacious hotel lobby. Staff were very helpful, attentive and proffessional. I had a very pleasant stay. The rooms boast a modern sleek style, with huge flat screen TV! The bar and restaurant area overlooking the track is pretty special. The only downer was the carpark area was still being developed and quite a dusty walk to and from the car. Apart from that, a very nice Hotel, I would definitely stay there again when visiting Silverstone.

A completely awesome hotel that probably has the best location on the planet but it’s let down by a car park that’s a construction site that nobody tells you about. Views, location, access and facilities are epic. Access and parking are not right now.

Everyone we saw at the hotel was so lovely! The lady who checked us in was so so nice, she was able to tell me everything I needed to know and was also able to get us an upgrade on our room!!!! The food and drinks were amazing! Worth every penny and the staff even though busy were all still super helpful and made us feel so welcome. We were even lucky enough to see the European Le Man practicing while we were there! The Silverstone shop is very nice and was easy accessible, you can walk straight from the hotel into the shop without having to leave. Overall the experience was amazing and we will definitely be back!

We went up for a driving experience at Silverstone this hotel was trackside couldn’t be better with a great roof top bar, excellent

Basically, the car parking building.....I know it is temporary!

Excellent hotel facilities and great view of the racetrack. Car parking was atrocious. It was a potholed cinder park a long walk from the hotel. My wife is on crutches and had great pain and inconvenience trying to walk that distance in the dark and rain with suitcases. The foot access was totally unmarked and we could not get through the security barriers surrounding the car park. No hotel transport was available although the staff in the hotel were very kind and sympathetic. A new car park is being constructed but much better temporary facilities are needed for a hotel of this standing.

Clean room, pleasant staff

We stayed here for one night, check in was quick and the staff friendly, the hotel was lovely, very modern and very clean. We stayed in a trackside balcony room which we all thought was fantastic. The beds and pillows where very comfortable. The breakfast was really good, everything you could want couldn't fault it. We would definitely and hopefully will stay here again. Thankyou for a perfect stay

things were quite dirty in the communal areas, the room was fine. Someone had put their dirty glasses in the corridor outside their room which were there when we checked in and still there the following day when we checked out. The tables on the balcony outside the bar on the first floor were filthy. We asked for ours to be cleaned but the others were left dirty! Sadly, I dont think staff were bothered at all but I doubt this will even be read!

Firstly, the stay was fantastic, great air con. Just a few picky bits, window wasn’t clean, stains on curtains. Futon mattress foam left unzipped. Bottom of bed frame fabric was ripped. Hallway carpet looked very dirty. It was all looking a bit tired and weathered. But all in all, a lovely stay!

Myself and my partner had a brilliant stay. The hotel was amazingly clean, all of the staff were friendly and helpful with an amazing location. This property did not disappoint and we have no complaints.

Pros: Great way to experience the Silverstone circuit Cons: The bathrooms are only covered by a translucent glass and doesn't give privacy. Rooms are very tightly packed.

Just back from 4 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn for the Silverstone Festival. I'm not familiar with the Hilton Garden Inn chain but have stayed at Hilton hotels previously, albeit some time ago. The hotel presents well, being smart, modern and clean. There are a number of room choices and we went for Kingsize and trackside. Room format is typically of those found in US motels; a bedroom with a shower cubicle, toilet cubicle and a wash hand basin in the corner of the room; functional but not what we were expecting. Shower door opens into the bedroom and there is nowhere to put your wet towel so these probably get re-laundered Aircon went faulty one night and was fixed promptly once reported. It would seem you also have to request reception to alter the room settings. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was fully booked - food arrived quickly and was well cooked but we had to find cutlery and serviettes ourselves and the requested condiments never appeared. Trackside balcony was useful but the paddock overbridge obscures the view - the best vantage points being the balcony alongside the restaurant or the roof top balcony and these are available to all guests. Whilst the hotel is inside the circuit for major events you find a fence erected around the carpark such that it is now outside the circuit - that means a much longer walk with your event tickets to get out of the circuit, loop back round to find your car, then retrace and join the queue to get back in - not great

Staff very courteous and helpful, bed comfortable but not the pillows. Decor was lovely and a super track facing room .However you can’t beat a premier inn for right room layout .The sink in the main room and separate toilet and separate shower did not work for us at all as a mother and son .No where to hook towel ,had to come out the shower walk in main room to grab your towel or take in the actual shower with you .I didn’t see on the menu in the restaurant there is a service charge .Breakfast was carnage but nice selection, long queue for cooked,run out of some of the juices and had to find someone to refill, run out of coffee and mugs and had to find staff member again .Overall it had ups and downs but would stay again because of location .

Love that the hotel is right at the circuit and the F1 channel is available in your room. Will definitely stay again.

Large rooms. Walk in shower.

Had a lovely stay overlooking car park which was a little disappointing. Room lovely very well equipped. Only thing that didn’t like was vents in toilet and shower very noisy and couldn’t be turned off. Would definitely stay again. But for us a F1 buffs the location could not have been better!

Staff were super friendly, best experience we have had at a Hilton. It would have been nice to have complimentary bottles of water in the room. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Room was modern however there was leaks showing on the ceiling which had been tried to cover up. Somehow three flies made their way into our room with the doors closed which was strange

The rooms were tidy, well-maintained, and equipped with all the usual amenities you'd expect from a Hilton property. Everything felt clean and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a day at the track. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was polite, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was at check-in, in the restaurant, or just passing by, the team made the stay feel welcoming and professional. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience If you’re heading to Silverstone for any kind of motorsport event or just want a unique hotel stay with a view of the track, I’d highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone. I’ll definitely be returning!

Great track view room.

Room was very nice and clean and we got upgraded to a track facing suite for free which was awesome.

Was actually very disappointed with the stay. We had booked to stay as an early Christmas present for 2 Formula 1 mad children tying in with Winter Tour of Silverstone. Told we could check in from 3pm. Room was not ready until nearly 4:30 when we finally given out keycard. On arrival at the room there were empty Prosecco and beer bottles left right outside the door, not a great impression on first arrival. We went down and told staff and they got removed. The room itself was lovely, balcony overlooking the track. We paid for a family room with a long bed in one part and a fold out sofa bed in the other. The boys are 11 and 15 so won’t share a bed so the other half was in 1 and me in the other each with one of the kids. The sofa bed was literally a pull out sofa with a sheet on. No additional mattress so not comfy and not a great nights sleep. Down for breakfast to be told it wasn’t included and would be nearly £50, which we paid. The room was booked at the same time as my sisters family room, who paid £15 less and had breakfast included. So for nearly £400 for the night and breakfast I wasn’t overly impressed at all. I raised the problem with the bed on check out to reception and also the breakfast issue and was simply told “we’ll feed it back in”. Again didn’t think the customer service was great from Hilton this time round. Am fortunate enough to have stayed in a few around the world and felt this fell quite short of expectations from the hotel and brand.

Hopeless check-in! We came a day late due to work commitments and the computer had deleted our booking even though both nights had been paid in full!

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Ordered drinks at the bar which I had to pay for upfront. Unfortunately two of the drinks were unavailable. Staff had to take me to the reception for a refund. Did get a complimentary drink. Perhaps they should charge you after they pour your drinks. Overall had a good experience. Would recommend.

Gem of a hotel, very modern and clean. Staff were amazing, so polite and professional - congratulations to the training team. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast - food was excellent quality. Would happily stay again and recommend

The hotel is nice, however, the restaurant is what lets it down. The bar & restaurant is under staffed; the staff they do have are not trained and really have no idea what they're doing. This has to be the fault of the franchisee and the lack of training provided for staff. The restaurant is extremely slow, the food is below average and the bar is just a disaster. We mentioned the disappointed restaurant, etc when we were checking out and the response from reception was: "yes, this is a recurring problem we have!" Okay, so..... wouldn't you then fix the problem?! Nope. We have stayed three times and each visit is worse than the last, so this was not a one off.

Room spotless and had good quality amenities. One thing my partner did miss was some hot chocolate. I did try and suggest that was available for breakfast! Staff at the bar and breakfast appeared overwhelmed somewhat, with plates missing at breakfast and long waits at bar area in the evening.

Slow service (over an hour!) in the restaurant and poor food choices, then when it did finally arrive in the evening it was lukewarm at best! But there were staff everywhere and the restaurant wasn’t busy !!!

Bar ran out of draught lager and beer, had no bottles of cider and then ran out of rose wine. Food was fine but steak was expensive. Hotel perfectly positioned for our weekend at BTCC.

Everything in the hotel, the facilities and rooms, are really good. However, the breakfast offered by the hotel is way below what it should be for a 4-star hotel. Poor choice, not enough tables to accommodate even half full hotel, the staff is making all they can but but there is not enough to serve the customers or food. I will try to stay at different hotel next time, purely because of the breakfast quality

Hotel is very new, so i will give them some slack with regards some points. Great placement to the track, feels great in the bar etc, terrace looking out onto the track and very close. Unfortunately getting served at the bar was just a farce so i gave up. Breakfast was rhe same mess, one man cooking in the kitchen, half hour queue a buffet breakfast! Eveyrhing just ran out, then the poor guys rushing round like mad trying to replenish (and failing). Pastries all ran out appart from a few danishes. Juices didnt get refilled so they ran out, same with coffee machines. Just a disaster. Reception at checkout were keen to hear the issue, but lost interest after i requested my money back for Breakfast as the majority was missing. Told i will get a call regarding a refund, but im not holding out hope! Massive shame as rooms and stuff are nice. Couple told me on the way out that evening food was also the same. Its a problem as its not like anywhere is in walking distance. Id avoid for the next few months.
