This place is very close to the beach and nature. I saw one of the crocs! and lots of birds in the lagoon. Put on your suit and walk out into the waters of the Pacific. A friendly spot to meet fellow travelers. The common area is comfortable. The wifi is okay for down, but you'll want to go to one of the local coworking spaces for up. The kitchen is small but adequate.

Technically located on a beach but you can't access / see it and need to go around. The "kitchen" was nightmarish, a dirty dingy makeshift situation (a bucket cut into the table for a sink, & a hose for a tap), 3 gross old plastic bowls, & a sponge that looked like it had been used for 10 years. I wouldn't go in there unless you want to get sick. Also, the hot water tap was purposefully removed from the shower in our room, so we could only have cold showers. I was unable to shower for the 3 nights I was there because of this. I would like a refund, because if guests are paying for a private room with a private shower, it is common sense that we are entitled to hot water for the shower.

The water from the tap smelled like rotten eggs, so we didn't want to wash or shower with it. It is a hostal, so there was a tiny kitchen for people to use which usually looked pretty disgusting with clogged sink. The day we left at 5:30 am, went down to reception to call for taxi, several people were sleeping there. The pillowcases had fuzzy lint all over them that would stick to your hair and clothes.

La atención es muy buena, Sara nos brindó toda la información necesaria para recorrer el lugar, muy amable y accesible. Como recomendación es que mejoren el internet de la estancia ya que prácticamente no se puede utilizar eso dificulta la comunicación ya que tampoco hay buena recepción telefónica en el lugar. La limpieza es buena, todos los días hay servicio de limpieza. El lugar está bien ubicado pero los alrededores son un poco inseguros.

L'hôtel est bien situé à deux pas de la plage et de la rue commerçante. La chambre était propre mais les sanitaires vétustes avec le robinet d'eau de la douche que nous avions beaucoup de mal à fermer et les robinets des lavabos trop hauts du coup çà coulait partout autour… Le personnel gentil et aimable mais la cuisine commune pas très propre. Certains ne comprennent pas que c'est une cuisine commune et que la moindre des délicatesse est de laver sa vaisselle quand on l'a utilisé...

J’ai vu plusieurs avis mitigés cependant tout s’est bien passé pendant mon séjour, la localisation est top, proche des transport en commun (collectivos) l’accès à la plage est direct et le staff très sympa. La cuisine est petite et pas hyper propre mais c’est totalement acceptable. Je conseille les chambres privés pour deux elles sont super, juste bien avoir un ventilo car il fait très chaud !

Pros: Great location, clean hotel and room, good parking, friendly staff, secure, great for a place to just sleep and great price (about 40/night for 3 beds). Staff is accomodating and provided a fan due to broken ceiling fan. Great wifi, good cell signal, nice common area to relax and have a few drinks, steps to the beach, quiet area. Cons: broken ceiling fan, no place to hang towel/clothes in shower room, bathroom is very small and knees are very close to door while sitting on toilet, bed was not the most comfortable, sink water easily splashes outside of sink, no one available to officially check out before 8am.

La habitación estuvo muy bien, realmente cómoda...estuve con mi esposo e hijos y nos pareció genial. El balconcito muy agradable con mesa y un sillon para tres y lo mejor de todo cero mosquitos. El baño funcionó muy bien, aunque se salía un poco el agua de la regadera hacia la habitación. Creo que lo que habría que mejorar es el lobby del hotel que se ve descuidado y sucio. El personal muy amable.

It was dirty, no hot water, sintetic sheets and smelly. We had a water leak in the bathroom for the entire stay. Also the area looks like a favela, next to some sewers and stinky water. When we left we almost lost the plane cause of the guy at the reception that forgot to call us a taxi after we asked him 3 times.

Es un lugar super basico, con instalaciones antiguas, le falta muchisima limpieza y acomodo al lugar en general, no es un lugar familiar, lo puedes considerar como ultimo recurso para alojarte, el precio no es relativo a lo que te ofrecen, deberia ser mas economico.

El espacio es una cuarto con baño y clima, a la llegada el clima presento falla, sin embargo se reportó y de inmediato se resolvió. El baño cuenta con regadera, agua muy fresca para el tema del calor que hace en la zona, al embargo, la duda que tuve durante mi estadía fue si hay agua caliente. Le falta una pequeña pantalla a la habitación, para los tiempos de relajación en la misma. Mis comentarios son a propuesta de recomendación, me gustó el lugar ya que esta deseado de manera rústica y tranquila.

I wouldn't go in there unless you want to get sick. Also, the hot water tap was purposefully removed from the shower in our room, so we could only have cold showers. I was unable to shower for the 3 nights I was there because of this. I would like a refund, because if guests are paying for a private room with a private shower, it is common sense that we are entitled to hot water for the shower.

The water from the tap smelled like rotten eggs, so we didn't want to wash or shower with it. It is a hostal, so there was a tiny kitchen for people to use which usually looked pretty disgusting with clogged sink. The day we left at 5:30 am, went down to reception to call for taxi, several people were sleeping there. The pillowcases had fuzzy lint all over them that would stick to your hair and clothes.

Very relaxed location just a short walk from the beach. Our room was adequate for our needs, simple and safe place to call home base for our explorations. Shops, food, bank, massages and more just a short walk away. I forgot her name but the lady at the registration desk was FANTASTIC and so helpful with lots of helpful tips. Would stay here again if we ever find ourselves in Puerto Escondido.

Pros: Great location, clean hotel and room, good parking, friendly staff, secure, great for a place to just sleep and great price (about 40/night for 3 beds). Staff is accomodating and provided a fan due to broken ceiling fan. Great wifi, good cell signal, nice common area to relax and have a few drinks, steps to the beach, quiet area. Cons: broken ceiling fan, no place to hang towel/clothes in shower room, bathroom is very small and knees are very close to door while sitting on toilet, bed was not the most comfortable, sink water easily splashes outside of sink, no one available to officially check out before 8am.

It was dirty, no hot water, sintetic sheets and smelly. We had a water leak in the bathroom for the entire stay. Also the area looks like a favela, next to some sewers and stinky water. When we left we almost lost the plane cause of the guy at the reception that forgot to call us a taxi after we asked him 3 times.

J’ai vu plusieurs avis mitigés cependant tout s’est bien passé pendant mon séjour, la localisation est top, proche des transport en commun (collectivos) l’accès à la plage est direct et le staff très sympa. La cuisine est petite et pas hyper propre mais c’est totalement acceptable. Je conseille les chambres privés pour deux elles sont super, juste bien avoir un ventilo car il fait très chaud !

Hubo un cocodrilo de 3 metros de largo justo frente al hotel, a 3 metros de distancia, es muy peligroso. También el hotel se ubica en una zona poco abierta, oscura y con un acceso feo a la playa. La entrada de los cuartos "baratos" es muy muy estrecha, casi no se puede pasar con las maletas. Luego la llave de nuestro cuarto no funcionaba y no podíamos entrar, y luego se cambió la herradura mientras no estabamos, sin avisar.
Hubo un cocodrilo de 3 metros de largo justo frente al hotel, a 3 metros de distancia, es muy peligroso. También el hotel se ubica en una zona poco abierta, oscura y con un acceso feo a la playa. La entrada de los cuartos "baratos" es muy muy estrecha, casi no se puede pasar con las maletas. La atención es muy buena, Sara nos brindó toda la información necesaria para recorrer el lugar, muy amable y accesible. Como recomendación es que mejoren el internet de la estancia ya que prácticamente no se puede utilizar eso dificulta la comunicación ya que tampoco hay buena recepción telefónica en el lugar. La limpieza es buena, todos los días hay servicio de limpieza. El lugar está bien ubicado pero los alrededores son un poco inseguros.
