Worst hotel I have stayed in Dirty not well maintained poor furniture, noise from the bar below and just a terrible experience all round. Would not stay here again

Having requested a ground floor or first floor room on booking, arrived to find we had been allocated a second floor room. This was quickly changed to a first floor room. The room was large, & the bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean & the shower was good. The bedroom was dirty with other people's hair, dust and cobwebs behind the chair & around the edges of the room. The only time we saw a member of staff was on check in, & he failed to tell us that the front door is locked after 11.00 & that we would need a phone number to get someone to come and let us in! The number was on a piece of paper on reception which we couldn't see from outside! We banged on the door & no staff appeared but luckily another resident came & opened the door! Very poor & slapdash service. Never saw anyone on reception , in the restaurant or bar area (staff or customers). Car parking was good, but overall we wouldn't stay again & wouldn't recommend.

Everything was ok and would possibly stay again for £56. I think it may be a better restaurant than a hotel. I stayed in room one, single occupancy and the bed was comfortable not the best maintained but I got what I paid for and felt safe.

I had booked a 2 night stay for work. Booked on the day of arrival so was short notice. Hotel looked like it was closed. Poor first impression. Bedroom very tired. No mattress topper could see the striped mattress through poor quality bed linen. As a female travelling alone it did not feel safe or secure. I declined to stay. Poor language with member of staff so difficult to understand each other. Would not recommend

On arrival couldn't,t find any staff, the place was disgustingly dirty and messy at the reception.
