Leuke accomodatie in een historisch pand in het centrum van Utrecht. Je zit niet ver van winkels en cafées verwijderd, dus dat is ideaal. Vriendelijk personeel, mooie kamer. Maar, zoals ze zelf ook al aangeven, ben je slecht te voet, dan even goed kijken of dit lukt. Lift gaat maar tot de tweede verdieping, dus voor de derde moet je even wat trappen op. Echter voor ons geen probleem, want de kamer was echt heel schattig! Ik zou hier zeker terugkomen.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit eigensinnigem Design und sehr nettem Team. Lage ist zentral in der Nähe der Innenstadt. Das Gebäude ist in der Altstadt und deswegen nicht wirklich barrierefrei, hat dafür aber seinen eigenen Charme. Sehr gutes Frühstück. An der ein oder anderen Stelle müsste wieder einmal etwas grundsätzlich investiert werden, aber insgesamt trotzdem sehr komfortabel und geschmackvoll.

Eye Hotel is a quirky hotel but with great rooms, free coffee all day and a 'plank' breakfast. The location is great. Close to all the bars and restaurants as well as the tourist spots in Utrecht, but quiet, although keep your wits about you with the cyclists! The reception staff were great. Really friendly and helpful.

The all day coffee/tea room which was very good to help your self on arriving or leaving and anytime during the day if you were nearby. Rooms were large too.

Mooie kamer (geboekt voor 1 nacht van zaterdag t/m zondag), vriendelijk personeel, ontbijt fantastisch! We waren met de auto, maar er was geen parkeerplek (wat we al wisten van te voren) bij accommodatie. Werd netjes uitgelegd dat we in parkeergarage Grifthoek konden parkeren (€ 21,75 voor 24 uur). Hotel ligt wel in studentenkwartier, dus ‘s nachts wel wat rumoerig, maar goed te doen. Winkels op loopafstand en wij zijn zelfs naar Beatrixtheater gelopen, wel een flinke wandeling!

Fijn hotel met moderne uitstraling in historisch pand. Heerlijke bedden en prima ontbijt. Verwarming stond een beetje te hoog bij aankomst, en douchekop schoot omhoog als kraan helemaal open stond. Parkeren 2 straten verder voor 30 euro/dag. Maar wat wil je, midden in de stad! Genoten van ons verblijf.

Il y a un ascenseur pour accéder aux étages mais quand même quelques marches à monter. Nous avons été bien accueillies à la réception et on a répondu à notre demande de lits jumeaux malgré que l'hôtel ait été complet ce soir là. Seul bémol, la porte de la douche ne ferme pas bien et s'ouvre vers l'intérieur ce qui ne laisse pas beaucoup d'espace de manœuvre. La douche téléphone ne tenait pas bien en place. Malgré cela, un très bon endroit où rester!

Un bruit sourd dans la chambre avec des vibrations qui vont jusque dans le lit. Impossible de dormir avant que cela ne s'arrête dans la nuit et reparte à 6h du matin. La chambre était au dernier étage, je pense qu'il y avait comme un gros moteur de climatisation centrale proche de la chambre. En plus de cela, le parking de l'hotel... n'est pas à l'hotel ! mais à 8 minutes à pieds. Pas agréable quand on a du mal à marcher.

This hotel is within a couple of minutes walking distance of the city Centre. The public car park is also not too far away. This hotel met all our needs. Staff were super friendly & helpful & offered lots of tips for restaurants etc in the local area. Room was large , clean & super comfortable

Amazing hotel, we had the family room that was made for children, it had anything you'd need and more - our little one loved picking up the books and sat in the comfy chair to read them. There was also a changing table, lovely cot and a baby bath, which made us feel like we were at home. The only criticism would be the room had some stairs, so it would be great if there was an optional stair gate for our peace of mind, as we couldn't leave our toddler alone to roam free; also the shower leaked a little bit from the bottom. Other than that, a brilliant experience, we'll definitely be back!

Beautiful, quaint hotel just off a main road with lots of dining and shopping options nearby. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a ground floor room with a private terrace (sadly, we didn’t get to use it as it was very rainy during our visit). Room was cosy and very clean. Bed was a little soft for my liking but that’s a personal preference. Lovely modern bathroom with high-end bath products which I enjoyed so much that I went out and bought some for myself :)

Super dejligt og mindre hotel centralt beliggende i Utrecht. Hotellet bruger bygningens historie som øjenhospital i deres udsmykninger. Rigtig flot lavet. Værelset rent og med skønt interiør. Et hotel vi meget gerne vil bo på igen.

Zimmer schön und sauber. Wermutstropfen: Zimmer deutlich kleiner als die Bilder suggerieren. Dass die Waschbecken quasi neben dem Bett sind, muss man mögen.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location and quirky decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this place for a week to explore Utrecht and Amsterdam. You can hire bikes too which is nice and easy. If you book, just check your room has a window, some small rooms only have roof lights.

Stylisches Hotel in einem restaurierten alten Gebäude im Zentrum von Utrecht. Der Empfang war sehr nett, das Zimmer stylisch und alles sauber und ordentlich. Leider gab es auch ein paar Schönheitsfehler…der Boden war immer kalt, die Klimaanlage hat einfach nicht wirklich geheizt. Die Matratze war extrem weich oder einfach durchgelegen und der Tisch recht wackelig. Dazu war die Zimmertür extrem hellhörig. Man konnte draussen jeden Schritt und jedes Wort anderer Gäste hören. Für einen Abend war es ok, aber für mehrere Tage würde ich es nicht empfehlen.

Beautiful and unique building. Breakfast was inconsistent and not worth the money- First 2days we were given a selection of scrambled egg ( in a jar), rolls, croissant and yoghurt. There was one coffee machine which we had to queue for. On our last day there was no room for us at our time given. We came back half an hour later to be given a small plate of cheese and ham( 2 pieces of each of Brie, Dutch cheese and ham)and were told to help ourselves- there was only bread rolls, jam and one croissant left. I asked for yoghurt which we were then given. There was only one member of staff serving and she seemed keen to go chat to the man serving on the reception. Definitely not worth paying for breakfast! Rooms were small but adequate. No air conditioning-we had 2 rooms and the air con wouldn’t switch on in either. We had a small patio but it hadn’t been cleaned. Hotel ok for an overnight stay but I wouldn’t book again. Very limited staffing - receptionists also do breakfast- not ideal at busy times. This has the potential to be a lovely boutique hotel but sadly it isn’t quite there yet.

We like the location and the decoration of the hotel. Room is spacious, kid like bunk bed. However, this area is noisy during night, parties till 3-4 am, for light sleeper, I won’t recommend.

Really friendly and helpful staff. We got loads of good tips and a very good restaurant recommendation they booked for us. It's a shame we weren't told about the beer festival that was on as we'd have enjoyed that. But we had a great time in Utrecht and the hotel was very clean and comfortable.

This hotel is within a couple of minutes walking distance of the city Centre. The public car park is also not too far away. This hotel met all our needs. Staff were super friendly & helpful & offered lots of tips for restaurants etc in the local area. Room was large , clean & super comfortable

Eye Hotel is a quirky hotel but with great rooms, free coffee all day and a 'plank' breakfast. The location is great. Close to all the bars and restaurants as well as the tourist spots in Utrecht, but quiet, although keep your wits about you with the cyclists! The reception staff were great. Really friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and unique building. Breakfast was inconsistent and not worth the money- First 2days we were given a selection of scrambled egg ( in a jar), rolls, croissant and yoghurt. There was one coffee machine which we had to queue for. On our last day there was no room for us at our time given. We came back half an hour later to be given a small plate of cheese and ham( 2 pieces of each of Brie, Dutch cheese and ham)and were told to help ourselves- there was only bread rolls, jam and one croissant left. I asked for yoghurt which we were then given. There was only one member of staff serving and she seemed keen to go chat to the man serving on the reception. Definitely not worth paying for breakfast! Rooms were small but adequate. No air conditioning-we had 2 rooms and the air con wouldn’t switch on in either. We had a small patio but it hadn’t been cleaned. Hotel ok for an overnight stay but I wouldn’t book again. Very limited staffing - receptionists also do breakfast- not ideal at busy times. This has the potential to be a lovely boutique hotel but sadly it isn’t quite there yet.

Het personeel moest zijn weg vinden in een veel te kleine “keuken” en kon het aantal bezoekers onmogelijk goed bedienen. Dus de tafels stonden vol met gebruikte planken en gebruikt servies. Er was geen schoon servies. Het personeel is dit onmogelijk te verwijten. Veel te weinig werkruimte en daarnaast moest een van de twee ook nog de receptie bedienen.

Beautiful, quaint hotel just off a main road with lots of dining and shopping options nearby. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a ground floor room with a private terrace (sadly, we didn’t get to use it as it was very rainy during our visit). Room was cosy and very clean. Bed was a little soft for my liking but that’s a personal preference. Lovely modern bathroom with high-end bath products which I enjoyed so much that I went out and bought some for myself :)

Hotel was located in a great area - less than 15 minutes walk from the train station and no noise heard at night. Room was lovely and the shower really powerful. Had great night’s sleep. We would be really happy to return. Loads of nearby restaurants and bars if you want to avoid the centre.

We like the location and the decoration of the hotel. Room is spacious, kid like bunk bed. However, this area is noisy during night, parties till 3-4 am, for light sleeper, I won’t recommend.

This is a charming hotel in a delightful area of Utrecht. The decor is quirky and the breakfast is excellent. Beds are very comfortable and we could even make the coffee machine work! Would definitely recommend.

A great find for our Netherlands holiday. Clean, friendly with a cozy coffee room available anytime. The staff responded to any and every request. Wifi was great. Beautiful big windows that we requested.. only disappointed that they didn’t open for fresh air. We stayed 19 nights and can only say good things about this gem!!

We did a room upgrade to the more spacious room. It was excellent, much better than a chain Hotel. Friendly staff and comfortable bed and clean bathroom. We would recommend this hotel or return to it fully.
