Tout était parfait, j'ai particulièrement aimé la variété du petit déjeuner et le confort de la chambre. De plus, on peut se garer juste à côté et le parking dispose de bornes de recharge.

Questa è la mia seconda volta presso il the LODGE, tutto molto bene, servizio buono, letti un pò morbidi e andrebbero rivisti ma si dorme bene in tranquillità, il parcheggio è a pagamento ma è molto comodo, la stazione del bus è a 2 passi e in meno di 30 minuti si può arrivare all' aeroporto facendo il biglietto di 2.5€ sul bus, location perfetta.

Confort de la chambre correct. Par contre, très bon petit déjeuner et personnel accueillant. Environnement moyen (Bruits de travaux, vue sur toits d’usine). Restaurant à 3 minutes à pied au bord du canal. Parking payant (6 euros la nuit) au pied de l’hôtel. Proche Bruxelles en voiture.

Endroit calme, bonne literie, salle de bains propre mais pas pratique concernant la baignoire. Lampe du bureau cassée, papier peint à la tête du lit décollé , le plafond c'est du béton, aucune déco sur les murs, cette chambre est la n°212 . Le petit déjeuner est très copieux ,le personnel souriant et très agréable. Pour résumer , la chambre n'est pas à la hauteur du prix demandé.

Das Hotel ist in einem ehemaligen Gefängnis und daher ein sehr interessanter Ort. Die Zimmer sind angemessen groß, die Bäder groß und alles ist sehr angenehm und vor allem sauber. Das Frühstücksangebot ist reichhaltig und mehr als angemessen für den Zimmerpreis. Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der Umweltzone von Brüssel und ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut zu erreichen, was die Fahrt in die Innenstadt einfach macht. Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert.

Bij aankomst kregen we een kamer toegewezen maar wanneer we binnen kwamen, was deze niet gekuist. Terug naar het onthaal en andere kamer gekregen. Daar was de poetsvrouw ook nog bezig, dus een beetje vreemd. De kamer was ok. Het tapijt was wel jammerlijk besmeurd met vlekken overal wat niet wil zeggen dat het niet goed gepoetst was maar de vlekken zijn niet te verwijderen maar geeft geen propere indruk. De faciliteiten in de kamer zijn basic maar goed. De matrassen zijn niet super maar ok. De kopkussens kunnen wel beter. Het ontbijt was heel goed en ruime keuze. Alles was ook vers behalve het fruitsap maar is begrijpelijk. De ontbijtruimte is mooi en verfrissend! Al bij al genoten van ons verblijf en je moet uiteraard ook rekening houden met de prijs die je betaalt.

Schönes ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Freundliches Personal. Mein Bett war sehr weich, aber für mich noch in Ordnung. Das empfindet ja auch jeder etwas anders. Was mich diesmal wirklich gestört hat, war der penetrante Geruch aus den Abflüssen. Das ist wirklich schade. Sonst ist das Hotel durchaus zu empfehlen

We had a very good stay. The rooms are big and comfortable, the breakfast was very good, a great choice. Nice ladies who took care of everything. The beds were super-comfortable! The area surrounding the hotel is also very interesting, a new developping area at the waterside, great to watch, take a walk, eat out at the Canal. Small things the caretakers should take care of: The window opener was a bit loose. The fridge (not part of the booking) could not be opened, but was switched on (not environmentally friendly). But that was just small minuses on a stay that we enjoyed.

Das Hotel greift in jedem Raum, jedem Gang seine Geschichte als ehemaliges Gefängnis auf. kurze Geschichten aus vergangenen Zeiten und Zeilen über Freiheit finden sich überall. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt, nicht zuletzt durch das freundliche Personal. Eine Unterkunft die ich nur weiter empfehlen kann und mit Sicherheit auch nochmals Besuchen werde. Der Twist, Sprachen zu wechseln ist in Belgien einzigartig, was es ziemlich leicht macht, sich in Englisch, Französisch, Niederländisch und auch in Deutsch zu verständigen. (Antworten in deutscher Sprache sind ggf. schwieriger, aber man wird verstanden, so wie die meisten Deutschen wohl Niederländisch verstehen aber nicht unbedingt Niederländisch Antworten können).

Das Hotel greift in jedem Raum, jedem Gang seine Geschichte als ehemaliges Gefängnis auf. kurze Geschichten aus vergangenen Zeiten und Zeilen über Freiheit finden sich überall. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt, nicht zuletzt durch das freundliche Personal. Eine Unterkunft die ich nur weiter empfehlen kann und mit Sicherheit auch nochmals Besuchen werde. Questa è la mia seconda volta presso il the LODGE, tutto molto bene, servizio buono, letti un pò morbidi e andrebbero rivisti ma si dorme bene in tranquillità, il parcheggio è a pagamento ma è molto comodo, la stazione del bus è a 2 passi e in meno di 30 minuti si può arrivare all' aeroporto facendo il biglietto di 2.5€ sul bus, location perfetta.

this property is unique part Of Belgian history. they have done a wonderful job, turning the once jail into a comfy and stylish hotel. Surrounding area is lovely for walking. An easy train ride into the middle of Brussels. We would stay we are in the area

Over all not bad place to stay but for 100 per cent not for kids, very disappointed for lunch and dinner as with kids would be great to have service to have some lunches and dinner on this same place. Some of the staff member has very little communications with English, would be great to have some of them .

Jugendliche Reisegruppe war die ganze Nacht unterwegs, extrem laut um 03:00 04:00 06:00 pöbelnd durch die Hotelgänge. Die Zimmertüren sind extrem schlecht isoliert gegen etwelchen Lärm! Frühstück minimal.

Very nice old building, very nice staff and a great breakfast. I think it is weird to have a paid parking on-site, because it seemed to me that a car is more or less obligatory to reach the hotel conveniently. The bed (single bed) didn't feel like a proper hotel bed but more like an extra bed, not very steady and stable. Also the curtains in our twin room were so small that they didn't block the light well enough. Anyway, overall a good stay!
