Lovely hotel and rooms in a great location between the seafront and the old town. However… the car park is too far from the hotel and it is really awkward to navigate arrival and departure car park processes, and bordering on ridiculous. And I also have to note the mildly irrritating insouciant attitude of the reception staff when I pointed out the clunky and difficult parking process. Put simply, I would not return unless this hotel invests in a concierge service.

This is an excellent hotel in every way. Our welcome at check in was friendly, quick and efficient and our room was lovely, spacious and comfortable and also spotlessly clean. The little balconies all around the room were great for seeing and hearing the local activity outside. The breakfast buffet had everything one could wish for with high quality fresh food. The rooftop bar was our favourite place of all. Fantastic views, very relaxing and serving high quality food and drinks. Particular mention goes to Lily (not sure how she spells her name) for her warm welcome and friendly smile. Alicante itself is a lovely place to visit, with the beautiful seafront and so many places to eat and drink. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return sometime.

Room was spotless and staff friendly. Nice comfortable room, however the water leaked out the shower onto the bathroom floor. Comfortable bed, loved the coffee machine. Hotel is in a great location. Rooftop bar and staff excellent. Abit usure about the 5☆, no spa or pool.

The hotel is really nice, but more a 4 stars than a 5. The room is very nice, clean and modern. The personal is really helpful and nice. The gym is very small and has no free weights. Definitely not for light sleepers, noise from the street even the days that were not carnival.

listing on hotel.com says parking available but hotel does not inform guests ahead of time that the street they are located on is currently shut down to auto traffic so it is impossible to get to it and they neglected to inform me of where i could park until i called them after discovering it was not possible to get to them or check in with the car - so check in was a nightmare, we wasted 45m traversing Alicante to get back to where the parking garage near the hotel was and the staff was not really helpful on the phone

Mycket trevligt och fint hotell. Bra frukost, mycket trevlig och service inriktad personal. Lite lyhört men inget som störde. Ingen pool men det saknades inte nu i februari. Perfekt läge och nära till restaurangerna. Mycket trevlig rooftop bar med vettiga priser.

Great location. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast selection. Everything was excellent. However, our only criticism was that on floor B3 where we were staying there was a big stain on the carpet (or carpet had a discoloured patch where a stain had been removed). This looked terrible and should not be there in a 5 star hotel. Stain needs to be removed or a new section of carpet fitted. The young barman in the Rooftop Bar is a very lovely person, good at his job and is a true asset to the hotel.

Det var väldigt rent och snyggt. Toppenrum, välstädat. Fantastiskt fin frukost. Jättetrevlig personal. Läget fantastiskt bra, nära till allt. Vi är så nöjda.

For a 5*, expensive hotel could have had good quality towels and bed sheets, not ones on which you could see severe wear and tear and black spots. Also, the food variety doesn't accomodate vegetarians very well - I had a lovely lunch as a bit more options but for dinner I was forced to go outside! Otherwise, great old town location, lovely, friendly staff!

Best location , friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Only one thing to mention is that overhead shower pressure wasn’t great and that’s only for finer touches. No other problem. Had a good stay.

Booked a delux double room which looked like it had a balcony, ended up in an interior room (room 411) that didn’t feel delux at all. It was a perfectly fine room, but I feel like it wasn’t what I paid for, a bit dissapointing however service was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel looked very Scandinavian in decor. Our room was too small and the balcony opened up to the ugly a/c units in the next buildings. No nice view at all. When you walked in the door to the room, you had to carry your luggage up three steps to get to the platform for the bathroom, then another six steps to the bedroom. The staff at the front desk was friendly and the breakfast had a huge variety of foods with a great presentation. Located close to the beach you can easily walk to it.

Lite långsam incheckning men supertrevliga. Väldigt mycket trappor upp och ner till rum 207 även inne på rummet, ingen utsikt bara en vägg på nästa hus. Men rummet var helt ok. Blev väldigt varmt på natten då inte AC fungerade optimalt. Fick öppna fönstret och fick istället allt ljud utifrån, så sömnen den natten blev inte så bra! Ganska sterilt överlag inte ett öppet välkomnande hotell 5 stjärnor? Frukosten var riktigt bra👍 Allt vi kunde önska fanns. Ingen egen parkering de rekommenderar parkering vid Casinot kostade 25€ för 24timmar.

This is an excellent hotel in every way. Our welcome at check in was friendly, quick and efficient and our room was lovely, spacious and comfortable and also spotlessly clean. The little balconies all around the room were great for seeing and hearing the local activity outside. The breakfast buffet had everything one could wish for with high quality fresh food. The rooftop bar was our favourite place of all. Fantastic views, very relaxing and serving high quality food and drinks. Particular mention goes to Lily (not sure how she spells her name) for her warm welcome and friendly smile. Alicante itself is a lovely place to visit, with the beautiful seafront and so many places to eat and drink. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return sometime.

It was our first time in Alicante, we loved the hotel location, 5mins walk to beach and public transportations, restaurants, shopping…the hotel itself is really nice, all the staff were very helpful( including front desk, house keeping, roof top bar staff) During our stay, there were few problems but they solved those issues quickly and handled very well. The roof top bar was very nice too.

Everything is cramped in a limited space : reception area , dinning . Staff polite but not well train in hospitality . Each room has a Nespresso machine but the pods are no name brand poor quality ( you would not expect that from a 5 stars hotel- is a 50 cents difference )

Lovely and smiley reception welcome, nice and clean. Bedroom amazing (room 406 - a suite with a view of the castle and massive balcony!). Lovely birthday brownies in room for me on arrival. Great drinks in the bar area. The girls were so lovely and happy and smiley and quick to serve us and that made us extra happy. Great music to listen to there too. Lovely in the outside bar area overlooking the square in full sunshine. Throws provided for when it gets chilly at night if needed. Not noisy at all- bedroom was lovely and quiet all night. Perfect location. I’m not disabled but it’s wheelchair friendly for you if needed, as are the hotel lobby and bar toilets. Mini fridge stocked up well if you need a drink. I didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on any food.

Great room on the top floor. Roof top bar was good but couldn’t see the sunset as we hoped. Location amazing and able to leave bags before check in and after check out. Breakfast was plentiful and hot even towards the end of service.

De ligging is fantastisch maar het lawaai van mensen die uitgaan ‘s nachts kan wel hinderlijk zijn. Oordopjes meenemen is aan te raden. Verder is alles heel goed: personeel, ontbijt, de kamers, netheid… super!!

listing on hotel.com says parking available but hotel does not inform guests ahead of time that the street they are located on is currently shut down to auto traffic so it is impossible to get to it and they neglected to inform me of where i could park until i called them after discovering it was not possible to get to them or check in with the car - so check in was a nightmare, we wasted 45m traversing Alicante to get back to where the parking garage near the hotel was and the staff was not really helpful on the phone

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is centrally located, excellent breakfast with a lot of choices. Room gets cleaned every day. Room is very airy and spacious. if anyone is looking for a view there isn\'t any. My room was looking out on small alleys, too close to the opposite building. I kept my curtains shut . However it didn\'t bother me because most of the time I was out. Bus "C6" (£3.85) to and from airoport is only 6 min walk. Bus station is only 18 minutes walk( i went to Murcia, very nice city) Check out was easy and on line.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, the rooms were very clean. And the location is awesome. My only complaint would be that the beds were not very comfortable. Other than that everything was really good.

Me gusto mucho la propiedad, la limpieza,la ubicacion fue lo mejor. No me gusto el desayuno me pareció muy caro,para lo que era,y habian buenisimas opciones,para desayunar en los alrededores, por otro lado compramos una habitación matrimonial y cuando llegamos no tenian,habitaciones,y nos dieron una con dos camas individuales, no me gusto porqué dormimos incómodos y nos dijeron que como cortesia por el inconveniente nos darian una habitación con vista a la calle,pero eso no era lo que yo habia pagado,.Lo que necesitaba era descar correctamente

Stayed here for our 35th wedding anniversary, when we arrived and got to the room it was a wow especially the view over the square. Hotel was clean, room cleaned every day and staff were helpful and friendly! Roof top bar was great with superb views. Would definitely recommend

Excellent location for walking round old town Alicante and the main shopping area, and a short walk for the castle (via bus or lift). The one-way road outside is limited to bus and taxi so we struggled to drop off our luggage from our own car. But don't let this put you off, it's a really nice hotel in a great location.
