Very disappointing service and a lack of support when our luggage was delayed. We sent our luggage from APA Asakusa to APA Osaka using the delivery company recommended by the hotel. APA’s own staff arranged the delivery, yet our luggage did not arrive at the scheduled time. The staff in Osaka offered no practical solution. We were told to check out and return to collect our luggage whenever it arrived, despite explaining that we had to leave the city that day. We had handed over our bags two days earlier specifically to have them delivered in time. They also suggested forwarding the luggage to our next destination, but could not confirm when it would arrive. This would simply have left us travelling without our belongings for even longer. I understand that delivery delays can happen. However, as guests who used a service recommended and arranged by the hotel, we expected more understanding and an active effort to resolve the situation. Offering a late checkout while investigating the delay would at least have helped. Being expected to check out without our luggage, with no clear delivery time and no workable solution, was unacceptable. The lack of care and responsibility shown was far below what we expected from APA.

We recently stayed at APA Hotel Namba and overall had a good experience. The hotel’s location is excellent — just steps from shops, restaurants, and train stations, making it very easy to explore Osaka. We loved how many great places were within walking distance. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the on‑site restaurant was a pleasant surprise with fun energy and genuinely great service. The reason we’re giving a 3‑star rating instead of higher is due to the room size and comfort level. The room was extremely small, even by Japan standards, and the bed comfort wasn’t ideal — the mattress was very thin and the pillows offered little support. These two factors made the stay less comfortable than we hoped. Overall, the hotel has a fantastic location and wonderful staff, but the room comfort keeps it from being a perfect stay.

The property was centrally located which was great. The staff was extremely helpful and profesional. They had a restaurant on site that was very good. The room was a bit small, more for a single traveler than a couple, but we made it work. Nice stay!!
