Element by Marriott Dallas Las Colinas

My room is closed to gym and it’s really noisy in the early morning (6 am) when some people enjoyed the exercising, especially for weightlifting.

This is our 3rd time at this hotel in the last 2 years. We love the location. However, we've noted, unfortunately, that the facility is starting to show wear and tear. It was a BUSY weekend, and only one of the two elevators was working, which meant, on average, your wait time for the elevator could be 10-15 minutes. The line was fairly long for waiting, and with you being on a higher floor with luggage to carry, it wouldn't have been easy to get around to take the stairs. Our shower leaked regardless of how we fixed the sliding doors, which meant we had towels everywhere to make sure we didn't slip and injure ourselves. There was leftover hair in the shower from another guest. Breakfast is ALWAYS amazing, though. The kitchen crew is so sweet and patient. I witnessed SEVERAL guests being blatantly rude to the servers and staff, and the crew was so sweet and accommodating regardless. I hope they can fix these small cosmetic and housecleaning issues so this place stays around for a long time!

I think this is the best hotel in the area of hotels, in a convenient stop near lots of other hotels and dining options. super pet friendly!

This is our 2nd time at this hotel. Our first visit blew us out of the water. Upon check in we were greeted so warmly and kindly. Room was fantastic. This visit while still good, lacked the extra sparkle from the first time. Upon check in the representative barely spoke to me, didn’t apologize for giving our room away to a family member before we arrived (we knew because said family member called us about the mix up) yes, they were polite and not rude so I cannot claim that. Upon arriving in our room the floor was very dirty. Didn’t look like it had been swept or mopped. Beds are very comfortable, slept like a baby. No towels at the pool like previous time, so it made for a very drippy walk back to the room lol Breakfast is always good. Fresh omelette, sweet breakfast staff that kept all things clean and organized. We did have an issue with our toilet that I made the front desk aware of at check out. We will come back. Just sad that it has lost a smidge of the sparkle.

The service was very good. They have free wine/beer happy hour. The gym is good for Cardio. The hotel is modern and clean. The location is poor, you cannot walkout anywhere, need to take Ubers everywhere

Wonderful breakfast, superior to many other chain hotels. Good coffee which is abnormal. Friendly staff, good and clean gym, I’d totally stay here again

Very nice staff and facilty. The room is nice but the mateess was too soft for my liking. Loved that the parking was free and also loved the closeness to the freeway. Not much wothin walking distance, but dining and shopping not far by car. First hotel i stayed in where the complimentary breakfast was made to order. Other than the mattress, everything else was great.

Stayed here after a cowboys game. Hotel was super clean and quite. Plenty of parking and well lit. Breakfast was not buffet style. Omelettes and pancakes were made to order, which took about 30 minutes (about 10 people in front of us) so kind of a pain in the behind however, they were fresh and good. Bed was extremely comfortable and wife even said so. Pull out couch bed was comfortable for my son. They did have a bar which was cool Staff was nice. My grade 9.3, wife’s grade a 9. Negative was just the wait for breakfast as only two omelettes could be made at a time

We booked a rooms at the Element Dallas Las Colinas, last minute. The hotel definitely lived up to its reviews. The staff was amazing. The check in was simple. Everything was new. The room were very nice, with kitchen. Our stay definitely exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was amazing. Made to order eggs and omelets. The pool was clean and relaxing, with pool towels available on waiting, or having to asking for one. On our next trip to Dallas we will stay here again!

Great accommodations, but one of two elevators was out of order and the air conditioning was sub par. Maintenance came to check out my complaint about the temperature and appeared that this was a common complaint. Nice rooms though. If they fix things, I’ll definitely be coming back.

We stayed at this property for an event happening at Irving Convention Center. It was incredibly easy to get to the center. I picked the property because I can always count on Marriott rooms to smell and look clean. Our room was spotless, the bed was so comfortable, and it was very quiet and relaxing. There are many properties in the area of the convention center that charge for parking and have paid breakfast or continental only, but the custom omelettes and other free breakfast items were delicious and absolutely set them apart from other hotels in the area. I loved the little kitchenette with the filtered water!

1. No portico area to park and register. 2. When registering, I saw 2 valet carts. Never saw them again, didn't get to use one. I was there 3 nights. 3. The reception persons were very friendly. 4. The cook-to-order breakfast was very good and the staff working in that area were friendly and kept the area clean. 5. The closet was an embarrassment to whoever designed it and to all of those who should have flagged it. On one side, there were 3 drawers and a safe, with only room to hang crop tops above it. On both sides, the rod ran from front to back, instead of side to side!!! Your clothing items had to hang one in front of the other. In conjunction, the ironing board was mounted in the closet, so all of your clothing items had to hang in a lopsided way. Ridiculous! How it passed reviews in design and after installation, I don't know. The rods looked like they could be retrofitted side to side. 5. The shower faucet was nicely placed at the back of the shower, opposite the shower head, so you could adjust the water temperature without getting in. 6. Room cleaning was poor. There were two pubic hairs and some other small trash in the shower. Along the primary baseboard area in the entryway, there were two pieces of trash or small bugs. They were obvious. There was a grape stem on the counter. 7. The duvet was very heavy. I loved it. 8. The room was dark except during daylight with the blinds open. The bathroom had no bright lighting at any time.

We spent about a week in this hotel and everything was great. The location is by the highway but we didn’t hear any highway noise. The hotel was very clean and staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great.

The staff and breakfast was outstanding. The room itself had some minor cleanliness issues and the trashcans had no bags. The light in the room at night is very bright due to the microwave and thermostat control pad. Outside of those issues the stay was great. We will definitely return.

Everything was great. The only exception was that there was no body wash in the dispenser in the shower. Someone obviously missed it. But the breakfast was exceptional as well as the cleanliness. Will definitely stay again!

I love the hotel it is clean the staff is amazing! The only problem I had is there was a party on the 12th floor the had rented the room for and the music was so loud that I was on the 10th floor and it was booming in my room! Manager called me on Monday and made it right! Would stay at this hotel anytime! Stayed there in July also!

Wonderful hotel with an smazing hot breakfast, modern rooms with a mini kitchen, huge rooms. It was an excellent choice.

Clean, spacious room with very comfortable bed. Hotel was in great, quiet area. I would suggest 2 things though. There was no ice machine in the hotel, had to go to the bar which was inconvenient having to go down to the ground floor. Also, the breakfast was great, loved the cook to order, but I suggest to make sure to have enough omelet fillings as advertised for all guests and to NOT remove the condiments and yogurt/cereal bar until everyone that was waiting for their order to be cooked gets theirs.

The hotel is new and in a nice location. The staff at reception was ok, not good, not bad. The problem I had in my recent stay, is that I turned off the room a/c, but there was an air outlet close to the ceiling that continued to throw air aiming at the bed and it was VERY noisy. There was no way of turning this vent off or closing it, so, between the airflow in my face and the terrible noice all night, I couldn't sleep at all. It was the worst night in my life, I'm never returning to this hotel again.

The property and room was nice. Ask for the night clerk, she was rude. There was an issue with us checking in. Which was eventually resolved but not in a professional manner. I rate the overall stay a THREE due to our check in experience not being a good one.

We really had a wonderful experience at our stay. At first when we called about our reservation the lady was a little rude but we didn’t wanted to judge, we knew it was busy weekend due to games and concerts. When we arrived around 6pm our room was not ready but the secretary was really nice and upgraded our room. The rooms were super clean, and cold just the way we like it.

This is my second time staying at element Las Colinas and it was just as great as the first time. My room was very clean and check in was fast. Every staff member that had contact with was super friendly! Would definitely recommend!

I needed a room for July 3-4. It was 10:32 pm on July 3rd. I was calling around hotels in Irving,TX to see if any would allow check-in at any time. I called the Element hotel, and the employee said that I can come in at any time. I was told to put my estimate time of arrival on the comment block when reserving the room. In Expedia, I did not see a place to put additional comments. I paid for the room on the Expedia App at 10:37. I was playing poker at the Las Colinas TCH Social. I did not know when I wanted to stop playing. I finished playing, and I arrived to the Element hotel at about 4:10 AM on July 4th. The check out time for this hotel is at 12 pm. I was happy to get about 8 hours of sleep before driving back to Killeen, TX. When I got to the hotel, the front desk worker told me that she could not check me in or give me a room even though I paid for the room. She said she couldn’t because the hotel audit was already completed at 3 AM. When I called the Element hotel at about 10:32 PM on July 3rd, I was not informed about the 3 AM audit. I was under the impression that there would be a front desk person available to check in a guest at any time since I paid for the hotel room already. The Element hotel can check the phone recordings for around 10:32 PM on July 3rd if they have those records on my conversation. So I ended up sleeping in my car (white Toyota Yaris) at the hotel parking lot until about 8AM. I didn’t want to crash my car falling asleep in the freeway.

From the moment you enter the lobby you feel welcome. We travel to Dallas every 6 weeks for chemo treatments and the staff go above and beyond to assist with any needs.

Everyone that works there were very attentive and helpful and they would go out of their way to be of great service and assistance

Amazing staff and wonderful experience

My family and I stayed here a few times before. Every time is pleasant until the "supervisor" Tiffany had to interact with anyone! I have witnessed her actually argue loudly with customers in the lobby regarding corporate reservations! She had a horrible horrible attitude! I told her this the last time my family stayed as she is just rude for no reason! Just a real unhappy nasty person! Manny, Emma, Monica, Juan are the best! Juan even made my family and I smoothies as we barbecued by the poolside after my husband was having chest pain! Juan is top notch! But Tiffany will definitely will keep people from wanting to ever visit here again no matter how new it is! I will be giving the new Embassy Suites a try and as long as she is here I won't recommend this place to anyone at all!

The property is situated right off of highway 114 which gives you very easy access to DFW Airport, downtown Dallas and surrounding areas and also to the Grapevine and North Fort Worth area. It has many dining options, very close by and even more options a little further away with easy access to the highway. The area is very quiet and you're only three to four minutes from entertainment at Toyota Music Factory and Irving convention Center. The pool area was absolutely gorgeous and the free breakfast in the morning was wonderful. It had many more options that I expected to have. When I walked down into the lobby, the smell of breakfast simply drew me in. I was actually going to check out and leave until I smelled the breakfast. All the staff were very nice. The gentleman who checked me in was courteous and made sure I knew of all the amenities that were available to me in the nearby area. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

We stayed one night for Christmas. The property is really nice. The staff was nice and professional. Having to use the room key to access the elevator was great. The breakfast was good. Would have rated the stay a five. I'm giving a four. Because there was no sign acknowledging food allergy. This should be a easy fix. I'm allergic to soybean oil which is used to prepare the food. After speaking to the cook who was extremely busy, my food was prepared with olive oil. Thanks Element Dallas of Las Colinas. Will stay again.

best breakfast ever in DFW

I'm impressed with check in service, cleanliness and modern styling. Hotel staff are friendly and easy to talk to. The only negative review I have is the breakfast service. It took me 15 minutes in line to get to the order counter and wait another 5 minutes for my order to be served. Wish they have cooked egg, bacon, sausage, potato for guests to serve themselves. I will stay here again and recommend this to my friends and family.

Enjoyed the stay at the property, only complaint would just be about the efficiency of how breakfast is served. Having one cook onsite for a multitude of guests didn’t make much sense. Other than that the stay was great.
