Great value for money. Location very good just 5 mins walk to beach. Plenty of restaurants in close walking distance. The restaurant at front of hotel was superb. Packed every night and very reasonable prices. Only negative comment is they have a pool bar but obviously never used. Staff were very friendly and the room we had - deluxe pool view was newly renovated and the important thing, the bed was very comfortable.

Nice hotel in the centre of Kata. No nice views from the rooms, unless you're overlooking the pool. A few metres down a side road off the main high street of Kata. A very busy, lively area. just a few hundreds metres from the beach. Small, clean and tidy pool. Mattress was firm which wasn't great for my back but the room and hotel was clean and tidy. Lovely helpful staff.

Vi havde 2 ugers skønt ophold på dette hotel, hvor værelserne var virkelig store, pæne og rene. Skøn pool, dog kunne det ønskes, at poolbaren var åbent bare en time om dagen. God morgenmad og virkelig sød og venlig staff, og så lå det så centralt, som det overhovedet var muligt med kort gåafstand til strand, by mm. Kan varmt anbefales!

Not the swankiest hotel but great for the price and location if you want to be smack dab in the middle of everything. That said, it is recessed, so actually very quiet at night. The pool is gorgeous and pristine clean, very good service which is the standard in Thailand. We were very comfortable here. Especially since there was a ladder directly into the pool from our poolside balcony!

PROS: Clean, quiet property, excellent housekeeping staff, comfy bed, strong air con & hot water, tons of dining & shopping options nearby. CONS: The power was out for an entire day, and the last 2 days the water turned brown, disgusting! After a week of tipping staff, I requested to checkout just one hour late and was told "No." Btw, nearly everyone staying at this hotel was Russian and they are not the friendliest folks.

PROS: Clean, quiet property, excellent housekeeping staff, comfy bed, strong air con & hot water, tons of dining & shopping options nearby. Stenhårda sängar, urusel frukost, elkablar som surrade och blixtrade precis intill rummet och en pool som inte var fräsch eller trevlig. Personalen väldigt trevliga och gulliga, men de kanske inte är bäst i världen på att driva hotell. Kata beach är fullt av ryssar som lämnat Ryssland pga kriget i Ukraina vilket påverkar den lokala ekonomin, trivseln och trängseln i stan. Många restauranger serverar ryska maträtter…

Kata Pool Side has the most wonderful and service minded staff that I ever encountered. The hotel is super clean both the rooms and the exterior. I noticed that a lot of people were actually coming back year after year and I totally see why. My farther and I will definitely come back next year as well. Very close to all amenities including beach shopping restaurants and transport rooms are spacious and serviced daily also didn’t need to have the aircon working 24/7 as rooms were dark and well insulated. 9/10

I recently stayed at the hotel for 10 nights in a room with direct access to the pool and a terrace. Room was lovely and good value. Everywhere clean and tidy. The two ladies on reception were both extremely helpful during my stay ( one of the ladies even let me use her own personal mobile to contact Thai air as I only had a uk mobile which would have been charged at an expensive rate) I would definitely stay here again it was a lovely haven as kata was far busier than I expected. Thank you to everybody at the hotel who contributed to making my stay so enjoyable

Excellent little resort and the restaurant manager was fantastic, went above and beyond to help with food allergies and recommending food. Would recommend to anyone staying in Kata, very close to the beach and lovely quite pool area.

I recently stayed at the hotel for 10 nights in a room with direct access to the pool and a terrace. Room was lovely and good value. Everywhere clean and tidy. The two ladies on reception were both extremely helpful during my stay ( one of the ladies even let me use her own personal mobile to contact Thai air as I only had a uk mobile which would have been charged at an expensive rate) I would definitely stay here again it was a lovely haven as kata was far busier than I expected. Thank you to everybody at the hotel who contributed to making my stay so enjoyable

I’ve stayed here a few times and have always had a great time and service. I usually book a Saturday night when I go dancing with friends at the Palm! Safer not to drive home. However, on my last visit, I was visiting with a friend meeting me for dinner/dancing. He was there at check-in counter when I arrived, and after we had breakfast on the premises, my friend was also there at the front counter for check-out. I sat in my car for about 10mins after check out to check my messages. An employee accosted me at my car and demanded a copy of the passport of my friend: who was there at check in (and also asked to provide his ID and staff declined), at breakfast and check-out process. I have no idea why on earth they would bang on my car window to demand the passport copy of someone who’s not present?! Very confused. I’ve had a few good stays there and like the location and have recommended it to many people. After this, not sure if a repeat stay is in the future. My son likes it there. Manager was no help with my complaint of harassment.

Kata Pool Side has the most wonderful and service minded staff that I ever encountered. The hotel is super clean both the rooms and the exterior. I noticed that a lot of people were actually coming back year after year and I totally see why. My farther and I will definitely come back next year as well. So a lot of happy greeting from Copenhagen

Nice hotel in the centre of Kata. No nice views from the rooms, unless you're overlooking the pool. A few metres down a side road off the main high street of Kata. A very busy, lively area. just a few hundreds metres from the beach. Small, clean and tidy pool. Mattress was firm which wasn't great for my back but the room and hotel was clean and tidy. Very close to all amenities including beach shopping restaurants and transport rooms are spacious and serviced daily also didn’t need to have the aircon working 24/7 as rooms were dark and well insulated. 9/10

Not the swankiest hotel but great for the price and location if you want to be smack dab in the middle of everything. That said, it is recessed, so actually very quiet at night. The pool is gorgeous and pristine clean, very good service which is the standard in Thailand. We were very comfortable here. Especially since there was a ladder directly into the pool from our poolside balcony!

Stenhårda sängar, urusel frukost, elkablar som surrade och blixtrade precis intill rummet och en pool som inte var fräsch eller trevlig. Kata beach är fullt av ryssar som lämnat Ryssland pga kriget i Ukraina vilket påverkar den lokala ekonomin, trivseln och trängseln i stan. Många restauranger serverar ryska maträtter…

This property was a great find. All 3 of us loved it. Getting around was so easy and affordable. Small enough to be personal but big enough to have all the facilities. Rooms spacious and clean, pool beautiful, and the Lobster and Prawn Restaurant, which is adjacent, has a well priced varied menu. Oi and the staff were so pleasent and helpful too. We definitely look forward to coming back again!
