Our beach cottage was one of about 10 right off the main road through Long Beach. The larger building where we checked in had a gift shop,bar and a restaurant with delicious breakfast offerings. We were also given pool privileges at the adrift hotel which was a 10 minute walk towards the beach. We didn’t end up going there but it was nice that it was an option. The staff was amazing, friendly and flexible. We were delayed getting back to our cottage for check out but they were understanding! We had a nice little kitchenette, a pull out twin bed, a TV with enabled screen casting, robes, a fireplace and parking spot right outside the front door or the cottage. Would recommend!

Cute comfortable units setup with everything you need for a short stay in Long Beach! Be sure to enjoy the pool and firepit at the Adrift Motel, their partner property. Easy to walk to beach or town. Great place for you and your dog to have fun! Currently property is a little crowded due to construction of new cafe coffee shop and spa building. Front desk was the best experience I've ever had in hospitality!

We really enjoyed our weekend at the beach. This place is so cute and walkable to everything. We loved the pastries and coffee every morning and took advantage of the bikes and complimentary tasting. They even had an EV charger for our car.

We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed the bot tub and sauna were so far away from this property. We thought they would within walking distance. The kutchenette was perfect for our needs and having a gireplace was an added bonus. We would stay here again!

The cottages are fairly modern, cute, clean and comfortable. Just what you need for a few days’ stay. Especially the beds. The graveled parking area was annoying as people come in and out through the night. It’s noisy. The cottages are duplexes and the walls are very thin. I could hear a neighbor talking in his sleep in the middle of the night

The room was covered in dust. The ceiling fan had a thick layer of dust on it, as well as every single light fixture. There were cracks in every single corner. It smelled musty. There is complete false advertisement when they are posting photos about the property.

The cottages were darling and clean and staff was great. My only draw back is the couch had animal hair all over it and it got all over our clothes. The furnishings were sparse. The chair that was in there the legs were ready to break and not a comfortable chair and the couch seating was sunken. Everything else was very nice about the cottage.

Don't assume air conditioning in this town. Understandably, it was an exceptional hot day, but a mini split or at least ceiling fans would be nice. Most of the town was shut down by 7pm, maybe because it was Sunday. Bed is overly soft. Shower stall is tiny. Walkable to the beach for some, but we needed to drive. Floors, door frames, furniture are pretty dirty. Some loud pets in other cottages. Overall, funky old cottage smell. Staff were super friendly. The restaurant area at check in seemed nice. Town has some charm but not for all. An actual boardwalk is non existent for the time being. Quite surprised at the high ranking reviews that we based our stay upon.

Location was great. The cafe next to the cottages for breakfast was really nice and the free bikes were a an awesome perk (saw bald eagles biking the Lewis and Clark trail!). Cottage itself was tight and sparsely decorated and very close to neighbors, more of a motel feel than a cottage, though comfortable enough for a short stay.

The room was wonderful (room 7), but the large gaps in the sliding bathroom door and the shutters on the front side of the bathroom are not good for typical privacy concerns anyone has about being in a bathroom. The fan works well. Everything else is amazing.

1. Didn’t know it was a second floor unit with many stairs. 2. Crazy noisy from unit next door (kids and dog) and music from restaurant downstairs. 3. Downtown location. But Long Beach doesn’t have any beachfront lodging, so it’s pretty good location.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I was already going to give 5 (loved the set up, separate bedrooms, very comfortable beds, great amenities either on-site or nearby at The Adrift), but then I got home and couldn't find my (fairly expensive) headphones. We're 2 and a half hours away, so I called and Hannah not only checked and found them (the ONE time I didn't check under the bed), she wrapped them up and mailed them to me! We will definitely be staying there any time we go to Long Beach.

The staff at the boardwalk cottages was very very nice and helpful! Our visit was during a storm, and our cottage had a ceiling leak. But they gave us a solution very quickly and moved us to a room that still had the same amenities that we paid for specially for the room!

Stayed: August 10 – August 13 Room: Small unit, Room No. 3, with mini refrigerator Overall, our stay was pleasant. The accommodation was clean, quiet, and conveniently located near souvenir shops, which made it very comfortable for us. However, I would like to share one point of disappointment. On the day after check-in, we inquired at the front desk about the possibility of moving to a larger room for greater comfort. The staff informed us that a larger room would be available, and that we could move on August 12. Unfortunately, when we approached the front desk on August 12 to confirm the move, we were told that the room was no longer available. This left us feeling quite disappointed, as we had been given assurance earlier that the room would be held for us. That being said, we still appreciate the overall service, cleanliness, and housekeeping provided throughout our stay.

Overall it was a great stay. Great location. Just a few small improvements:I was sent a text # but when I sent a text I did not receive a response. Our room was not 100% clean. There was a dirty glass on the table. I went to the cafe on Friday evening. Service was slow. The staff seemed a little short handed maybe fir a Fri night. Both the bartenders/servers were very nice & the food was good. We did not use the pool at the Adrift but it's a nice option.
