Stayed 3 nights

Very disappointing the room was tatty, the sink didn't hold water when the plug was in. Went for evening meal food was very nice but when we asked to see the dessert menu we were left waiting even though there were only 2 other couples in the restaurant and eventually left with out dessert. We were given a twin room and pushed the beds together I slept on top of the covers and my wife got into her bed. My wife had an awful night's sleep as she was being bitten through the night by bugs. In the morning we complained and were told it was midges but she was only bitten whilst in bed and not whilst sitting in the chair and I wasn't bitten at all. They insisted it wasn't bed bugs but we feel it was. We asked for our money back and we were only given 1 of the 3 nights back. We were not offered another room and had to leave and find another hotel even though we'd paid.

Stayed 2 nights

I came here for a golf trip and it was very conveniently placed, less than 15 mins from each course. Nice quiet area in the corner of town (I stayed in the annex) with parking right outside and beautiful scenary. Pubs/restaurants only a 5-10 minute walk away. My only 2 gripes were that the sound proofing was non-existent, so you could hear every word and movement of the other guests. The shower was also very snug and water pressure was pretty poor. Otherwise, I slept well and the staff were extremely friendly! My dinner in the hotel restaurant was also brilliant - I'd recommend the haggis balls!
