Stayed for 4 nights for work, a great little hotel. It was my second stint and will def stay again if working in the area. Staff are amazing and there’s a great atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious in lovely surroundings and the food options for dinner are fab.

It was great in general, but they closed the bar at 9 30, this was disappointing as no alternatives nearby and we booked a pub so we could have a bit of "nightlife"

Nice "pub with hotel', but the parking is awful (we were lucky to get a space) and no air conditioning - hit evening mean we didn't sleep well at all. Also the trip to the rooms meant dragging heavy suitcases around the hotel and up multiple stairs, we managed but I'm guessing others may have issues. That being said, nice pub, live band, food was a tad expensive.

We have family in Sale and stay here when we visit for family events. This time our experience was more mixed, the biggest factor being allocated room 104. This is one of the worst hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in, it’s extremely small and the windows are opaque - presumably because the view would be the bins at the back. The windows don’t open and overall we felt quite claustrophobic and therefore spent as little time as possible in the room. We were offered a different room for our last night but that seemed pointless. Given we made this booking 4 months ago, where there was still good availability at the hotel, it was disappointing to have been allocated what must be their worst room. Breakfasts were as always superb and the staff pleasant, though not such engaging customer service as under the previous management. Although the hotel has a bar, we discovered it now closes early (by 9pm on the Sunday we were there when we arrived with family to have drinks to discover the bar and restaurant locked up and no staff in the hotel!) Would now consider staying elsewhere for any future visits.

Our room had a very comfortable bed, and everything in the room was very clean. There was sparkling water, coffee, tea and biscuits available in the room each day of our stay. The hotel itself is well appointed, and close to public transport links. For guests arriving in their own car there is a private car park within the hotel grounds. The hotel staff there are very helpful and personable. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay at the Belmont hotel.

Hotel decor itself is very beautiful. No ventilation in room dont know how people can stay in rooms in summer as no air-conditioning just a tiny window that opens. Bathroom did not drain had to turn shower off wvery 2 mins for warter to go and switch back on. Service was good in the restaurant. But average food.

The property is lovely, the rooms are very clean and seem to be freshly refurbished. There is water in your room with some snacks. It is rated a 4 star hotel , however breakfast is not what you would expect in a 4 star hotel. Very limited fruit, pastries, no cheese etc. Very limited hot menu, that you need to order, no porridge, just the basics , although the poached eggs were absolutely beautiful. The coffee was very poor, strong, warm and not a great taste. No option for other coffees. The door slam shut hence it's nosiy. The car park is extremely small, very difficult to get a space. Great area, very central to lots of shopping areas and near thr trafford centre. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Cleaners missed quiet a few things and had to ask reception most evenings for towels or water etc. It is a nice hotel but not a 4 star, more like a pub/guest house.

Have stayed several times at Belmore. This time - although room was fine - there was no dressing table and plugs were placed in strange areas of room. Could not use hairdryer near mirror ( which was by door) and no plug socket on one side of bed. Would stay again but would ask for another room.

We have stayed at the Belmore a number of times now. It is convenient when attending events in the centre of Manchester with a short walk to the metro station. For the first time we stayed in one of the new rooms, comfortable though without windows that could be opened(there was air-conditioning but fresh air is good). Good welcome in reception and it was easy to get additional hot chocolate for the room. We'll be back, probably next week.

Booked this hotel for an event in Manchester. Great location in a quiet part and stunning surroundings. The Belmore is a beautiful building. Arrived with a smooth check in. Directed to our room. We stayed in a family suite; clean and well presented with attractive decor. Beautiful big bathroom, the main part of the room had twin beds and a sofa and tv. And another separate double bedroom. Plenty of space for us (a family of 3). Made very welcome by accommodation in the dining area downstairs on Father’s Day, with no reservation, was able to eat the most stunning food. The room had hot drink facilities- although no normal tea, just flavoured tea and coffee. Water not readily available but we asked and also very accommodating with providing. The room was hot but fans were provided already in the rooms which helped. Stayed in June, temps were 25! Beds comfortable, but obviously not like your own, could’ve been improved if had more pillows for each person, I personally don’t think one is enough. Towels and toiletries provided. All in all, a beautiful stay, highly recommended and would definitely stay again. Sadly the manager was actually moving out during our stay; I really hope the standards remain the same with the new manager as this place is a gem!

A nice hotel with good sized rooms with large bathroom (bath & separate shower cubicle). We had nice evening meals in the restaurant, a good selection and really good food. We didn’t have breakfast on this stay as we had to leave at 6.30am both mornings but on previous visits breakfast has always been very good. We will be staying here again.

We chose this hotel as we were attending a Man Utd game at Old Trafford. It was super convenient; just a short walk from Brooklands team stop then direct to the City Centre and Old Trafford on the tram. The hotel was great; clean, comfortable, and well-appointed rooms; plenty of space and good amenities in the room. We were in room 17 which has a big double bed and a sofa bed. It was plenty big enough for the two adults and two children (9&8yo) in our party. The breakfast was exceptional. Staff attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others, and will stay here again if we are back in the area.

Beautiful hotel , room lovely decor and clean . Food is also very good and the staff are friendly. Stayed here a couple of times before a morning flight at Manchester. Takes about 10- 15 minutes to get to the airport. Definitely recommend and will be returning .

Really nice comfortable room, only stayed one night as was for work but wish i could have stayed longer. Evening meal was exceptional, beautifully presented and really well cooked. Couldnt stay for breakfast as had to leave early, but will return and definitely try the breakfast next time. A bonus that it had free on site parking. Nice quiet area with a lovely out door seating area

We chose this hotel as we were attending a Man Utd game at Old Trafford. It was super convenient; just a short walk from Brooklands team stop then direct to the City Centre and Old Trafford on the tram. The hotel was great; clean, comfortable, and well-appointed rooms; plenty of space and good amenities in the room. We were in room 17 which has a big double bed and a sofa bed. It was plenty big enough for the two adults and two children (9&8yo) in our party. The breakfast was exceptional. Staff attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others, and will stay here again if we are back in the area.

Stayed for 4 nights for work, a great little hotel. It was my second stint and will def stay again if working in the area. Staff are amazing and there’s a great atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious in lovely surroundings and the food options for dinner are fab.

The hotel was nice enough and the staff were very pleasant but we didn’t think the food at dinner was worth the price paid. We both had eggs Benedict for breakfast and I’m sorry to say that the “soft boiled” eggs were hard boiled and both dishes looked and tasted as if they had been sitting under a hot food lamp for too long. I’m sorry to say that we won’t be rushing back here.

Excellent friendly lovely bed, and I’m very picky about beds not too hard, most hotels have mattress too hard, this one was med firm and very comfortable. Breakfast was waitress service. Individual French press for coffee and a good northern style grilled breakfast with good poached egg.

A nice hotel with good sized rooms with large bathroom (bath & separate shower cubicle). We had nice evening meals in the restaurant, a good selection and really good food. We didn’t have breakfast on this stay as we had to leave at 6.30am both mornings but on previous visits breakfast has always been very good. We will be staying here again.

The property is lovely, the rooms are very clean and seem to be freshly refurbished. There is water in your room with some snacks. It is rated a 4 star hotel , however breakfast is not what you would expect in a 4 star hotel. Very limited fruit, pastries, no cheese etc. Very limited hot menu, that you need to order, no porridge, just the basics , although the poached eggs were absolutely beautiful. The coffee was very poor, strong, warm and not a great taste. No option for other coffees. The door slam shut hence it's nosiy. The car park is extremely small, very difficult to get a space. Great area, very central to lots of shopping areas and near thr trafford centre. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Cleaners missed quiet a few things and had to ask reception most evenings for towels or water etc. It is a nice hotel but not a 4 star, more like a pub/guest house.
