The hotel itself is wonderful and do is the staff. Great food too. Got the half board for convinience as a solo traveler and was not disappointed. Lovely sauna spa pool area, bathrooms are nice.

10/10 customer service from staff at the reception desk to the housekeeping team. Cleanliness was not an issue at all as they have a team constantly making sure this is kept to the best standard. A decent range of facilities are available on the lower floors such as their gym and indoor gym. The area facing the waterfront is really nice with short access to a mosque and some restaurants. However the area behind it isn’t as good. Their food is also really good, catering to different cuisines from around the world. They offer room service for the food which is really nice. Would recommend staying here if you want a more quiet stay away from the noise downtown, still being only a 20-40 minute taxi away from anywhere!

the hotel was quite basic in terms of facilities and room equipment/furniture. also, the room was small compared to similar hotels in UAE and the region. customer care was quite slow and somehow odd. For example, I requested extra pillows (pillows were very thin and uncomfortable) when I arrived late evening but I had to make three calls to front desk (AND 45 minutes waiting) to get the pillows delivered to the room! another odd thing: I asked for a couple of table spoons to use, but I was told there'll be a charge for the spoons! fair enough they retracted from the charge when I expressed my disappointment and dismay! Apart form that, hotel location is very good and valet service was very good.

We stayed four four nights. On the second day I complained about a bad smell (mold or damp walls) and they said they would put air freshener. The third day it was unbearable and they said oh we can humidify it. My husband has asthma and is very sensitive and each day in that room he was getting sick. I did not want to stay another night and they said they had no rooms at the same category. I requested a downgrade because our health was more important.

This property was a big disappointment and the pictures on the site was very deceptive. They said it was a Waterfront Property, but this was not true at all. You had to cross two streets to get to another property that had water on it, this property has nothing to do with the Doubletree Hotel. The hotel and room had a moldy smell, and the furniture was very dirty and old.

The staff were accommodating and friendy. The room was nice and the food was decent. The pool is nice, but its 5 feet deep across the entire pool, so if the kids dont know how to swim make sure you have floating devices. If you dont have you can buy at Carrefour, its about a 5-10 minute walk. The best part was the view from the rooms overlooking the bay. Pay the extra to get the bay view. There is also a park across the street for kids to play in.

The pillows are horrendous. Even after asking for additional pillows did not help. They are flat and uncomfortable. Had to borrow pillows from a friend for the duration of our stay. Could not have managed otherwise. The only disappointment.

The check-in staff were very helpful. As we arrived early, Ikram made every effort to look after us and gave us a wonderful room overlooking the front, well before the 3pm check-in time. The outside lobby staff were also very good in getting us taxis promptly. If I go again, without any hesitation will book the same hotel.

We had booked a 3 bedroom suite. They had overbooked and downgraded our room when we checked in. This was hugely inconvenient as we were travelling with 2 young kids and our elderly parents. They did nothing to accommodate and no price adjustments to my booking. We also arrived early and they wouldnt let us take our bags to their washroom to allow us to freshen up with our young kids. The laundry machine was also not working and our clothes got locked in the machine multiple times. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Amazing experience, staff was great very courteous, very helpful and patient too. I loved my stay...could do with a variation of the menu, the food was great but with a long stay the menu felt limited for dinners. also a little more housekeeping engagement for long stays.. a couple of things are taken fro granted, though I could say when I made the complaint they were very responsive.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in Sharjah. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Personal größtenteils aufmerksam (leider haben Bestellungen auf's Zimmer fast immer viel zu lange gedauert, manchmal wurden die falschen Sachen auf's Zimmer gebracht; aber trotzdem waren fast alle immer sehr freundlich), die Aussicht ist wunderschön, das Essen (In-Room-Dining) sehr lecker und das Frühstück ehrlich gesagt besser als in einigen 5-Sterne-Hotels. Einzig die Kissen waren für mich persönlich eine Katastrophe.. Weiche Daunenkissen und keine Alternative.. Normalerweise gibt es in allen Hotels, in denen ich war, mindestens 2 verschiedene Kissensorten: ein weiches und ein festeres. Ich habe nicht eine einzige Nacht gut geschlafen. Mein Kopf ist jedes Mal eingesunken und ich bin nachts mehrmals wach geworden, weil mein Nacken und meine Schulter geschmerzt haben. Nichtsdestotrotz soll das der Allgemeinbewertung keinen Abbruch tun. Ich nehme mir beim nächsten Mal einfach ein eigenes Kissen mit, denn dies wird mit Sicherheit nicht mein letzter Aufenthalt sein. Ich kann dieses Hotel guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen und bedanke mich für alle die freundlichen, hilfsbereiten und immer lächelnden Mitarbeiter, sei es in der Lobby, beim Frühstück, Reinigungskräfte oder draußen beim Eingang/Valet. Ich bin begeistert! Wir kommen wieder <3

The staff were accommodating and friendy. The room was nice and the food was decent. I stay for business and it meets my needs very well. It's away from DXB, but close enough to be viable for taxis back and forth. The view is spectacular from the gulf-facing side. The room is clean and well-appointed for my needs, and the staff is responsive and courteous. It's my go-to in Dubai for business.

Great location and the view is excellent. Room was nicely cleaned and sized for two people. I loved the balcony as well whic is not a common feature of most hotels. Wonderful breakfast and many choices to eat. The management team has a great customer service orientation. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Sharjah.
