Enjoyed my stay. An interesting old building, a bit of a rabbit warren with lots of doors, stairs and little corridors to get to the rooms. The room was a bit tired, basically clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a bit noisy with some kind of fan or engine outside the window, but otherwise fine for a short stay. Location was good.

this was our 3rd time visiting & we are still going to come back again. its an old building with en suite bedrooms. rooms are comfortable, location is right on the harbourside. food is very good & breakfast is very good too. staff are out of this world. I wouldn't recommend for people with walking disabilities or are in a wheelchair. dogs are welcomed at this property. Laura & Kennedy are the names of 2 of the staff I can remember at the moment but the others are very good too.

The perfect place to stay in Padstow! With convenient (paid) parking just across the street, we were able to enjoy walking through padstow before the crowds and the surrounding areas. Brilliant modern bathroom too.

A really enjoyable stay: great location; wonderful view from the room and helpful staff. However parking is a major challenge (it might be helpful for the property to explore reserving spaces in the public car park opposite) and the decor in the room was a little tired.

Perfect location at a good price with public parking across the road (£8.80 for a day). Room was comfortable with good quality bedding and towels etc. Breakfast was great choice and nicely cooked.

Nice old pub right on Padstow Harbour so close to everything. Has bar and eatery, and staff are very helpful. The only downside - it’s a bit of a mission getting your luggage to the upper floors as there are lots of stairs and doors to negotiate.

Absolutely fantastic location amazing views amazing food and staff amazing too. We was so happy with everything. Advice was also helpful and the parking is so cheap 24 hours £10 only

The location of the hotel was spot on, we managed to park in the harbour car park with spaces still available - I’m not sure if this will be the case in high season. The staff were attentive & friendly. The hotel is looking a little tired & could do with a freshen up. From first impressions climbing the stairs to the rooms the carpet is worn. Once in the room, the room was spacious and had nice touches like the Elemis products and a nespresso coffee maker - but there were several areas where paint was chipped off. Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel, we just felt it needed sprucing up a bit

It was tired and very dirty mold in shower and in windows bird excrement all over windows, really disappointing not at all what was advertised feel like we really over paid for what was delivered the pictures are very different from reality.

Really amazing location. Staff friendly. Overall good. Dining and bar area We’ll set out and great quality. However, carpets to rooms and in room dirty. Mirror in bathroom old and broken. Top of rain shower unit dusty and hadn’t been cleaned for ages. For little expense in terms of small repairs and attention to detail and cleaning of carpets, this place could be immaculate and really top notch. Shame the owners clearly not on top of maintenance

An overnight stay on a break in Padstow. Great location, good value for money and very helpful staff, especially John who checked us in and sorted a booking glitch. Good size room, comfortable bed and Elemis toiletries. Room and bathroom a little tired but clean. Opted for inclusive breakfast rate and choice was very good as was the food. Very happy to recommend.

We stayed in a lovely room above the pub overlooking the harbour. The room was spacious and we liked being right in the heart of the town. It can be noisy though with music from nearby pubs so expect that to go on until 11ish. The staff are all very helpful and the pub itself is lovely. Parking is tricky, we were lucky to find a spot nearby but we did have to pay.

Great clean, comfortable rooms with fantastic views. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast is a great way to start the day. The only thing is the wi-fi is a bit hit and miss. To park it is best to get there before 10am or after 5.30pm as parking is very limited. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Lovely place to stay. Had an upgrade to a beautiful harbour view room. The view was stunning. The room had a huge comfy bed.Staff all very friendly. Lovely pub downstairs & a fantastic breakfast. Would highly recommend staying there. Fabulous.

Excellent stay at the Old Custom House over Easter weekend. We were able to get into our room early and were pleased with how nicely decorated and well equipped the room was. We also had a lovely view from the two windows over the very pretty harbour. The bed was very comfortable and although quite small, the room was full of character. Staff were friendly and welcoming at the hotel and the lady doing breakfast both mornings we were there was delightful. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was very good.

We had a lovely stay especially the room (no.10) we were given overlooking the harbour. The food was good value especially the fish and chips. The service was excellent from when we arrived and especially sending on free of charge the iPad we left in the room. Highly recommend for it location, service and value

Great Hotel in an idyllic location….wonderful food and service….with a special mention to the receptionist, who greeted me with a genuine smile before guiding me to my room personally whilst asking about my day….so refreshingly genuine l!!!

Room was amazing (rm14) and we would request again. Housekeeping and reception staff were very pleasant and friendly. However the breakfast service could be improved as 4 guests were served before us on first day and we had to ask to be served. On our second day we weren’t even asked for our breakfast order.

Had a really friendly welcome when we arrived and our room was upgraded too with a surprised bottle of bubbly for our Anniversary.The receptionist and all the staff, particularly Hayden could not do enough for us . The food and table service was excellent too. Cannot fought anything with our stay - will certainly be back as Padstow is our special place to come . Thank you to everyone 😊

£155 for an average stay at best but in a great location in the middle of Padstow. No one at check in when we arrived. Long walk to room which was above the noisy pub next door. The seagulls were pretty noisy too! Coffee machine not working at breakfast. Not overly bothered though as only stayed the one night.

Fabulous location right on the seafront in Padstow. Very comfortable room and staff were lovely. Breakfast was very good.

Absolutely fantastic location amazing views amazing food and staff amazing too. We was so happy with everything. Advice was also helpful and the parking is so cheap 24 hours £10 only

Excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room (2) overlooking the harbour with a generous supply of teas and coffee. Modern shower. Proper (and enormous) English breakfast with an extensive choice of other fare if bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes etc is not to your taste. And a good range of beers at the bar. A very pleasant two-day stay.

Lovely little room but being in the top was quite warm so needed the windows open. As a result a late wake-up from drunks in the street outside (it was the nght of England v Netherlands in the Euros Semi Final) and an early wake up from the local sea gulls :-). Comfy bed. A mini fridge would be nice to keep cold drinks in. The can of laocal lager was a nice touch. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the service was not great. Slow and got the order timing wrong by bringing out the starter and main at the same time????. There were only two other tables being occupied so it wasn't like it was busy. These are minor things and are mentioned only for feedback purposes. I would stay here again as it's a great location and a nice boutique hotel. A lot od stairs to Room 14 :-) but worth it for the view ;-)!

We had a lovely stay especially the room (no.10) we were given overlooking the harbour. The food was good value especially the fish and chips. The service was excellent from when we arrived and especially sending on free of charge the iPad we left in the room. Highly recommend for it location, service and value

Great Hotel in an idyllic location….wonderful food and service….with a special mention to the receptionist, who greeted me with a genuine smile before guiding me to my room personally whilst asking about my day….so refreshingly genuine l!!!

Had an amazing stay, for one night, had a steak in the restaurant cooked to perfection the staff were amazing breakfast was amazing, from my phone call in the morning to check out the following morning absolutely five star.

Room was amazing (rm14) and we would request again. Housekeeping and reception staff were very pleasant and friendly. However the breakfast service could be improved as 4 guests were served before us on first day and we had to ask to be served. On our second day we weren’t even asked for our breakfast order.

Very clean and functional room. Lovely pub atmosphere downstairs with a good food menu and lots of local and mainline beers to choose from. Full breakfast was very good too! Recommend!

Such a relaxing stay at the old custom house we had a beautiful room and the view from our room was amazing ,breakfast was laid out lovely, a little disappointed on the choices of evening menu, booked a meal as it was our wedding anniversary they had run out of all the roast during the day, We ended up having to get chips and taking it back to our room as all the other restaurants were fully booked. But having said that we enjoyed eating our chips with the best seats in the house from the view from our window!

The room we stayed in at The Old Customer House was well equipped and overlooked the Harbour. This did mean that it was very noisy with loud music from the pub next door well into the early morning. Breakfast was extremely poor, lack of choice, not restocked, no cups, plates, glasses, teapots and everything seemed like too much effort for the waiter who was on the shift. Given that a one night stay was almost £245 at the time of staying I would have expected more.
