The parking fee was not stipulated I should have been told when I reserved maybe I would have gone to another hotel. They gave us the room 402 just by the elevator we heard the elevator all night in our room. Beside those two things is was ok .

A little surface mold on ceiling in bathroom, floor tiles looked a little chippy and lastly the ceiling fan in bathroom was ineffective and loud. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall cleanliness was decent. Easy access to downtown Ottawa but without the hustle and bustle.

Sadly our room was not cleaned upon check in. Our sheets had fresh blood on them and as there wasn’t any staff working when we discovered this we had to change rooms at 12:30 am.

We walked into our room to find a used teeth flosser on the floor, hair on the bathroom and shower floors. I went downstairs and complained, received a new room and was offered free parking instead of proper compensation. Staff was unaware that there was a pullout couch in the room when I asked for an additional cot, that was also not the cleanest. Awful service, attitude from staff and just gross

Our room/bedding was dirty when we checked in. Bedding had relatively fresh blood on the sheets…. There was no cleaning staff to change the linens so we had to pack up our room at 12:30 AM and change rooms.

The room was great, clean and very cozy. The problem was heating. The fan or something was terribly noise, and I mean noisy. I had to shut it off because we couldn’t sleep with it on.

The hotel room is clean but lacking in amenities like slippers and shower cap. It provides only the bare essentials. The room is not very sound proof. Hard to get a good night sleep. People talking in the hallways woke me up in the middle of the night. It was 2:30 AM. There should be a sign to remind people to lower their voice when in the hallway’s.

It was a lovely room with a great view. It was nice to have a little fridge, big TV, coffee or tea available. Very clean. Comfy beds. Modern bathroom. Well kept furniture. Like a miniature apartment.

Great hotel. Location was a big plus, ~20 min walk from Byward market makes Parliament, food and shopping easily accessible. Along with a great bagel place on the corner. Cleanliness was good, hotel staff was friendly but could’ve been a bit more informational. Room (1 king bed) was excellent comfy and spacious. Parking was extra but a good rate for the area. Would recommend.

Their wifi login page tricks you to accidentally sign up for upgraded wifi, which you don’t need. The “confirm” button includes an agreement to upgrade for $5.99/day in very small print. Super slimy. They even warn you when you check in that if you select high speed wifi they can’t remove it from the bill, so clearly lots of guests get tricked into signing up.

The condition of the room was poor. The table had a broken leg, the ironing table was broken, the coffee machine spilled water all around, one of the lights wasn't working, and the front desk staff was kinda rude. I was on a business trip and was in the room for about 11 hours in the night, so didn't care as much. But I cannot imagine staying in such a badly managed hotel ever again. I had better expectations from a Marriott group hotel, but they are degrading pretty badly.

ARAME was amazing to deal with. I had travelled a ways before arriving. I arrived at 130pm. My room wasn't ready, she found one available so I could take a nap before a concert I attended while visting Gatineau. She gave me free parking and breakfast for two. My room was spotless and I appreciated the amazing service. Will always come here when I visit Gatineau with my daughter. Many thanks!

Upon arriving from out of town we were anxious to check in and arrived just after 3:00, when inquiring if we could check in we were told no we couldn’t by a female staff we had to wait until 4:00. So we brought everything in only to witness the male check in two clients. So I asked if we could check in and he said sure you can. He was so pleasant and ensured we had the room we wanted (not a corner room) and even froze our ice packs overnight. He is a great host and was very hospitable. I do have a mysterious charge for $6.95 on my card with the name of the restaurant. We only used it for 2 breakfast. What is that for? We did not purchase anything else. The washrooms in the rooms could use a bit of an update the flooring is quite chipped.

The hotel itself was good. We had a nice room and the mattress was comfortable. The main downfall was that the staff was not very friendly or accommodating. They were rude upon check in and overall dismissive. The location was convenient but I’m not sure I’d book there again.

Everything was wonderful, asked for extra towels and other items and they were amazing and fast with it. No issues at all, was wonderful to come stay in Gatineau. Will be return to this hotel again in the future.

Ac unit very very loud . Phone cord missing and did not work cannot use phone. No cups . Not approchable staff , rude . Smelt bad upon entering like bi o . Tv had incorrect name , and did not work . Tv guide on tv did not work, netflix did not work . Lobby and bar clean and nice . Bar staff proffessional . Shower dangerous cracks when u walk . Front reception staff , very rude , dismissive . Overall not worth price at all .

The location was very unique because it was overlooking the beautiful Ottawa river location-wise. It is an easy walk to the Alexandria Bridge or the Museum of History. There is also a very good bagel store nearby, and feels almost as an offshore city hotel. This hotel is perfect if you want to explore around and see the wonderful Ottawa river.

Very quiet location, but close to major attractions. Very walkable to a lot of places. Room is clean, well-decorated but on the smaller side, but expected in a downtown hotel. Parking has a height restriction of 6ft, and I had some anxiety attacks parking my full size SUV, perhaps an inch or less left to the ceiling. Staff is professional and courteous.

Restaurant needs better direction. Dirty table covers (black paper) and inexperienced server. Expensive for what you got, but the food was still good. Sign lights were out, which gives the establishment a run down look from the outside. Inside was well kept. Very few dining options near by, but plenty across the bridge into Ottawa. Would stay there again, but would try to stay in Ottawa next time we visit.

Location was very convenient for business at the Museum of Civilization. Room was clean and comfortable. Mechanical equipment outside was noisy but luckily I brought earplugs. I used the restaurant twice - once for breakfast and once for the bar in the evening. Service and offerings in the restaurant / bar were ok at best. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in a great location and within working distance of the downtown area and I enjoyed being able to walk over the connecting bridge to the local attractions. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and welcoming and responded to every question or concerns I had. It really was an enjoyable stay for me!!

super friendly staff !! clean lobby and nice room with complimentary toiletries and water bottles coffee in the lobby in the morning .. parking is well priced .. restaurant staff very friendly but took a long time to get food, perhaps a little overwhelmed by large group… no pool .
