Great location close to beach, shops and eateries. Facilities were great as we had all the kitchen appliances and a washing machine which was very useful. Could have been cleaner. We stayed a week and hadn't been left enough toiletries to cover that so had to keep going to ask which was a bit annoying, i.e. 2 toilet rolls for 2 people for a week. Easy access and parking. Would stay again.

Great and convenient location to Mooloolaba beach, shops and restaurants. Free carpark was a bonus. Staff were friendly. Apartment was clean and had all amenities and kitchen utensils.

Well-appointed units, flawless check-in with online precheck-in, which made it very easy. Good parking and easy to find. We got a free upgrade to the penthouse, which was a nice touch. Great location for everything in Mooloolaba is within walking distance. Thank you - We will be back again!

Great location, friendly helpful staff, great balcony. unfortunately bed too low, ensuite toilet too small, running late on cleaning for check in floors needed vacuuming. Pool area too windy and cold to use. Parking very tight. Lounge suit not big enough for a family of 4 tv tiny. Blinds let in too much light in main bedroom

Amazing apartment I street back from the ocean. Lota of cafes and places to eat downstairs and a few minutes walk. Reception was amazing and staff were very helpful and organised a late check out for us free of charge. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. Beds were very comfortable. We were allocated 1 parking bay. The only strange thing was the position of the toilet in the ensuite bathroom. It was position facing a wall which gave limited space. We are of average height but would not of been good if you were tall. The main bathroom was fine.

Thank you to the staff at First Light Mooloolaba for being most helpful during our stay. Pros: modern, quiet, great location, staff work ethic, friendliness and helpfulness, foxtel, good internet and wifi, good amount of storage in rooms, loads of dining options, groceries nearby, generally quite clean, hair dryer provided, safe parking, fast elevator. Cons: apartments are a little small- even the 2 bedroom, bathroom is ready for a deep clean, rain shower head and water pressure was not great, seals on shower glass need replacing, toilet is narrow, keys did not work on public access doors (staff did their best to help and we could get around this), power outlets were behind the beds and not totally accessible, dryer took forever to dry clothes, no booklets to work tv, stovetop, oven, or microwave which were not easy to use, parking not suitable for large 4x4s.

I had to spend a lot of time in the apartment due to bad weather. I stayed in a two bedroom apartment with limited access for one. Although it had modern facilities, it was not a comfortably furnished apartment, and the furniture was cheap and tired. For dining there were hard stools and a high bar bench instead of a table and chairs. There was also only a small sofa only suitable for two people (sitting very close!), and no coffee table or lamps in the open living/kitchen area. As a solo traveller it was manageable, but it is not enough seating for four people with two bedrooms. The ensuite was tiny but again ok for one, and clean. Definitely not enough room for a couple. I had expected to have access to a normal size bathroom when I booked an apartment. The lift security buttons were temperamental, so I got stuck in the lift a few times when it didn’t recognise my floor. I liked that it was close to the shops and beach.

Most importantly this is not a hotel, it is an apartment building. We paid a lot during an event, and were severely disappointed at service and ammenties. There was no one for reception for check in, no visitor parking bays, and we were provided a single building key. The room was missing soap in one bathroom and had a broken towel rack. The pool area is small and uninviting.

Good location and just one block from the beach, walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Clean and tidy units but TV was not good (both free to air and cable tv). We had a family sedan and parking space was very small. If there is another vehicle parked next to us then it is very difficult to get out of our car as such a narrow parking space.

Check in was great and the team brilliant, location was perfect. The apartment itself was dated and a little dirty. Some odd smells coming out of the carpets (damp) and from behind the fridge. One shower was unusable due to broken shower head and the towels were stained and burn marked. We tried to speak to reception but as it was public holiday weekend the desk was always closed. All in all it was ok, but I dont think we will back any time soon.

Great location and walking distance to all restaurants, shops and beach. Spacious apartment with balcony and was well equipped. We had a few issues with a terrible smell coming up from drains in bathrooms- reported it to reception and they sent someone to fix that day, however after 24hrs, the smell came back. We also had issues with getting the tv to work, again reported to reception and they fixed, but we were unable to get any local channels the entire stay. Cleaning could have been better, pistachio nut under bed on arrival and fluff on floor. Also found that doors were a little grotty and mirrors still had finger prints on them. There is no servicing to apartment, so if you have a longer stay, you will need to wash your towels.

An ok apartment, not an apartment I would want to spend a lot of time in, just somewhere to sleep really. Tiny ocean glimpse, but only if you waljed out and looked, not from the lounge room. Location good behind the esplanade and an easy walk through the walkways. Clean, tiny and comfortable.

The air conditioning wasn't working-all three units. Ceiling fan not working, we were left a portable air conditioning that was put in the corner of the room with no directions. The room profile showed a view-there wasn't one! We booked for two nights but only stayed one due to the disappointment.

Great location! Great views from top floor. No A/C in master bedroom. A/C dripped continuously from the roof over the entire kitchen. WIFI was horrendous. Seemed a bit tired for a penthouse but very big. Overall a pleasant stay and the room was just a place to rest our heads. The beach was where I needed to be 😊

A lovely property in a great area, with our only issue being the size of the unit (802) is very small. There is only a 2 seater lounge in a very small living area. For a couple it is OK however this is a 2 bedroom unit. I would hate to have 4 people in here. The unit was spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. It is walking distance to the Esplanade and Coles shopping centre. We recommend for a couple. It is good value for money.

The apartment was very good, great shower but water leaked under door. Good tv with free fox and wifi. The name “First Light” gave me expectations of a bright light filled accomodation however as it was on the lowest level we only had glimpses of sky let alone water glimpses. I guess someone has to end up here but I’d only stay again on a higher floor.

The staff at reception was helpful. They held our bags after we checked out until we picked them up on the way to the airport. The reception hours are limited so you have to make special arrangements if you are checking in or out after hours. The hotel is near many restaurants and shops and close to the beach and walking distance to the wharf. The room was comfortable but we were given a room on the second floor which was less desirable than ones higher up. It was a good place to stay for our couple day trip to Mooloolaba.

I booked for 2 weeks and paid $3666 which was ok but I was put in a studio room for that price and if it wasn’t for one lovely staff member Shearna I would have been left if this tiny room for the duration of my stay! She was so obliging and endeavoured to make my stay as comfortable as possible! Shearna moved me to a larger ocean view room which made one our stay comfortable. Most of the other staff were not very helpful at all apart from the cleaners who worked very hard.

The location was fabulous. It was within an easy walkable distance to the beach shops restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment itself was a good size well kept and clean. The reception staff was very good. We had an initial problem with the internet but eventually it was sorted after reception staff persevered with it. The terrace was long and narrow and only gott a little bit of sun
