Excellent hotel in a great location. I was initially assigned a room that was not very comfortable (due to the angled windows that created a lot of heat) but was rapidly moved to a lovely room with a balcony. The hotel pool was especially welcome since the weather was warmer than usual. The buffet breakfast with sparkling wine and an excellent selection of items, was fantastic. Overall it was a great experience that I’d highly recommend.

Probably just a little overpriced when you calculated the €40 parking. Considering we arrived at 10:30pm and were leaving at 10am... I would have hoped for a discounted parking rate but alas - computer says no.

What an amazing hotel right in the heart of beautiful Ghent!!! And it comes with a swimming pool! The rooms are spacious with amazing views of the river and huge bed. The bathroom is amazing with modern bathtub, shower and his and hers sinks. Breakfast can be served outside enjoying the view. The gentlemen at reception was extremely nice and polite helping us with any requests. What a great choice. Next time we're in Ghent we will definitely come back to this hotel!

Stunning room, just like the pictures. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice addition, my wife and kids used it. One thing that put us off, was the breakfast price, we could get a full evening meal for 25 Euros. Thank you for an excellent stay overall.

This is a stunner of a hotel right in the old center of Ghent. Lovely room and bar/lobby. Because we were on a roadtrip for F1 we had a car which was accommodated by the underground garage. (We had a Volvo XC60, and it was a bit of a squeeze even though not full, so best if you have a smaller car to maneuver.) Nothing but positive feedback and highly recommend staying at the Harmony.

A lovely property down cobbled street in Ghent. Staff were extremely helpful when we drove down to the hotel by accident. Parking is not too far a walk away and you do pay for this separately. A lovely weekend stay.

This hotel has a perfect location in Gent, with all the main attractions being a short walk away. It’s clean and very comfortable. Our only gripe was our bathroom/toilet was behind glass saloon style doors with almost zero privacy. Ok for families, but still! Also, beware of the situation with the parking. We chose this hotel because it was parking available in the centre of the city, but upon arrival we’re told that it needed to be pre-booked and that it was full. The nearest 24hr car-park was a 20 min drive away (due to needing to leave the city and come back in) and a 15 min brisk walk back to the hotel. Not the hotel’s fault, this is made clear on their website but if you use Hotels.com this is not made clear. Also, it’s in a Low Emission Zone in Gent meaning we then had to apply for access retrospectively and you will need to know information about you car such as “Euro Standard” and “Vehicle Weight” as well as uploading a pic of the VS5 documentation. You can send this in on the day after your visit. We were lucky we came home from Gent the day after!

This hotel was wonderful & our room amazing. It was huge with the most comfortable bed ever & an amazing view & shower. It was the best of the 3 hotels we stayed at on our 9 night Belgium/ Netherlands trip. Location was excellent, walkable to everything we wanted to see yet a bit more quiet. Everyone we interacted with at the front desk was friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Our favourite hotel of our Europe trip. Located on the Main canal of Ghent we were so close to everything we wanted to see but also just off to the side so it was nice and quiet at night. We loved the unique design and tall ceilings of the building. The room was modern and clean but still had historic charm. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. We didn’t have a view but we faced the courtyard which was nice and quiet. We would absolutely stay here again.

O hotel está bem localizado para o turismo, mas a estação de trem é bem longe. Optamos por um quarto mais espaçoso, que era limpo e funcional. Contudo, para chegar nele, era preciso passar por um pátio descoberto, onde se pegava chuva. Ainda, havia alguns degraus e não tivemos ajuda com as malas. O banheiro tem algumas tecnologias, mas a água do banho poderia ser mais quente. A sacada tinha uma linda vista para o castelo. A equipe foi prestativa. O café da manhã era bom, mas achei desnecessário ter que optar entre omelete ou waffles como extra, ambos itens normais de um café da manhã de hotel na Bélgica.

Beautiful room with a small terrace overlooking the canal. Very quiet, even though it is central to the main square and on the canal. Very cheerful and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable with a big shower and even a toilet that washes you with warm water which was a first for me! We will definitely stay here when we are in Ghent again.

Great location, lovely rooms. Amazing breakfast, really worth to include it on your stay. Attention to details beautiful rooms and great staff, right by the canal and close to everything. Ideal to visit but not good for work online. The room had no outlets near the bed or by the sitting area, only one outlet by the coffee machine inconvenient to work or charge your phone at night, and the wifi is not very string and is unstable. Pick a room with canal’s views.

Staying at the Hotel Harmony always feels magical. The location, the staff, the atmosphere, are all top notch. Our room was very spacious and we had an incredible view on the Gravensteen Castle. The breakfast buffet is one of the best. While there is a huge variety of choices, you can even order an authentic Brussels Waffles. And I mean, authentic. Not some Americanized version of a Belgian waffle. :) Hotel Harmony, we will be back!

I had the best hotel and room in Ghent at Hotel Harmony! The room was modern, and elegant with many amenities, including a beautiful tub, large windows, a coffee maker, and much more. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk to the castle and is on the canal. I would stay at Hotel Harmony again and again!

The hotel was conveniently located and walkable to all of the tourist areas of Ghent. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were disappointed with the breakfast buffet and it seemed that items were not replenished so if you arrived at breakfast later some items were very picked over. We only had one breakfast as we felt it not worth the price. The room was large and obviously an accessible room. We did not like the bathroom which had huge double sliding glass doors and the shower was open to the whole bathroom. Water sprayed all over the floor so every towel was used after wards to soak up the water so we didn’t slip. The curtains did not wrap around the windows so as soon as the sun came up the room was bright. We like a dark room for sleeping. It’s a nice hotel with very helpful staff but the design concept was not for us.

Unser erstes Zimmer was sehr geräumig mit hohen Decken und schöner Einrichtung. Das Bad war sehr neu und hochwertig ausgestattet. Leider scheint die Trittschalldämmung zu dem Zimmer über uns nicht sehr gut zu sein, denn leider konnten wir jeden Schritt unserer Nachbarn hören. Deswegen sind wir nach der zweiten Nacht in ein höheres Stockwerk umgezogen. Das Zimmer war ebenso geräumig und schön ausgestattet. Leider konnte man die Lüftungsanlage bei geschlossenem Fenster hören. Jedoch war die Geräuschkulisse viel besser als im ersten Zimmer. Das Personal war stets nett. Das Hotel insgesamt sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr zentral gelegen.

Hotel Harmony was a terrific place to stay while enjoying beautiful Ghent. We were greeted by a very friendly concierge who welcomed us to Ghent, walked us to our unique, beautiful, and giant room, and recommended some activities. The layout - one living room with convertible beds and one master bedroom (upstairs) - is perfect for families or groups. The decor was modern, luxurious; this is not a generic Holiday Inn experience! Aside from the creature comforts of the room, the location is simply the best you can do in lovely, charming Ghent. You are situated right on the canal, in the oldest part of the city; we had a wonderful time getting lost in the streets behind the hotel that is a fabulously preserved hundreds-of-years-old neighborhood. I can't recommend this place enough, and we loved our stay in this unique gem.

The hotel itself is appealing, clean, centrally located in a beautiful canalside setting, the rooms well-appointed and well-decorated. The experience could be improved by having welcoming reception staff - a smile would be a start - and a commitment to act on requests the first time, e.g. for a kettle in the room, and to act on requests, e.g. to repair the usb charger by the bed; and to clear glasses from previous customers in the bar, which caused us to return to our room rather than have a drink there. In retrospect an enjoyable time there, certainly. Hopefully these suggestions can be discussed by the team.

This is my second stay of this Hotel I was impressed the first time, I had a great room which was at the back of the building, it was large and quiet. But sadly on this occasion my room wasn't as half as good. There was a constant humming and it wasn't my AC particularly noticeable at nights. The room itself was spacious and nicely decorated with good furniture. Couple of things really bothered me on this occasion one was I received a text message to say you can check in early at a cost of €25 which for a repeat customer and someone who travelled a long way this should've been free of charge as a courtesy. And the other message was for another €25 for a breakfast buffet which is well overpriced maybe for a cooked breakfast but not for a buffet.

Our room was changed due to the original room being unsafe for our child. It was downgraded so we were advised we would get a refund. However I had to contact the hotel a week later for this refund. We also had a broken shower so I was unable to wash before we left - the staffs option of waiting until 9am the following day once they had cleaned another room to use their shower was inadequate as we had to leave before then. Plus I wanted to wash the evening before. We also had a toddler with us so it was very inconvenient and we received no apology or compensation since even though I raised the issue multiple times. In the hotel they advised the manager would be In touch which he hasn’t.

Highly recommended! Hotel is clean and comfortable with spacious room. The light can be brighter though and it is a little bit inconvenient for the elderly to mount the step to go to the bathroom and toilet. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and very responsive even before my arrival to help me receive several books I ordered online. They had the room all set up and placed my books in when I arrived. what a surprise! The lady in the breakfast area warmly welcomed us every morning and made sure we had things needed. The breakfast choice can be richer, but eating while enjoying the riverside morning is a pleasure. Happy stay in summary and thanks.

Staff were really polite and helpful, especially the gentleman who checked us into the hotel. The hotel is nice and clean and facilities are excellent in the hotel and the rooms. Unfortunately the only downside was our tea, coffee and water wasn't stocked up properly so we could not have tea.

The staff of Hotel Harmony are excellent, and the hotel offers a list of very useful restaurant recommendations. We were in the hotel in early February, which is clearly a low-residency time that they were using to do some painting and refurbishment. This didn't affect our enjoyment (much) and will be a benefit to people who visit in a warmer time of year.

We loved the location on the canal but not in a super busy area. It was walkable to so many things! The food was good and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

A very nice personal hotel. The staff was amazing, both in reception and at breakfast. We were served omelettes and Prosecco every morning. Hotel located perfect. Comfortable bed and quiete. We stayed at the topfloor, it was not that much waterpressure in the shower. We do recommend it.
