HI Faro – Pousada de Juventude

I can’t complain about my stay. Clean bed, shower and decent breakfast. Staff super friendly and helpful. Close to a supermarket and a park. Not too far from town centre. I would recommend. Good value for money!

Staff were lovely and attentive, bathrooms were clean, common room is a bit spartan... but the real issue is the beds; they're a bit of a mess. Wooden frames that creak, wobble like crazy, and wake everyone in the room over even slight movements. No AC, and the fans used to substitute sadly don't reach up to the top bunks so you're just profusely sweating while you desperately try not to move. Overall I'd say only stay if you really need a cheap bed. Think of it like an amusement ride!

Nice breakfast. Just would improve lockers

It has decent access to the regional rail system and very convenient access to Vamus, the regional bus operator. Breakfast was good. Coffee is good. The bathroom facilities were old but worked really well. Kitchen was a little iffy. No fault of the operator.
