We ended up getting a suite/corner room. It was remarkably spacious for a European hotel with an entry room, a large bathroom with full sized showe, and a large bedroom with a couch/sitting area. The staff was very communicative via messaging, and helpful when we got to the hotel. We ate breakfast at the hotel, and discovered that the hotel was really the only place in town to eat early breakfast. There is a lovely lounge with couches and kitchen area for preparing food if you want. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. We had a mix up with our booking but the staff was very helpful and fixed our problems very quickly. The self check in option was easy and very convenient since we arrived late at night. This is a great place to stay when traveling through the Eastern Fjords of Iceland.

Casper at the front desk greeted us and he was so kind and helpful in answering any questions we had or just having friendly conversation. The town was small and quiet as we arrived later in the day, but we got to enjoy the hot tub and sauna on the property which had stunning views. The lounge in the hotel was amazing as well, great place to hang out and drink our coffee on the nice couches surrounded by super cool decor. Our room was very nice, and we arrived to find out we had been upgraded because they had extra room. Very clean, and we didn’t hear any neighbors. We were heading out in a rush but the breakfast looked amazing as well! The drive alone in the east fjords was worth it, but we would love to stay here again if we have the chance.
