The main image on this property is from the town itself as the property is located in an alley behind some shops. We weren't sure what to expect but as soon as you open the door, you get a good clean apartment with a small kitchen (no stove) and a clean and well appointed bathroom. The Wifi was terrible and I would suggest an update on that service or just making a note on the listing that it is not great to stay connected for any length of time. Would book this again if not in need of connectivity. Roberto was fabulous to deal with for check in instructions as we were going to be late getting into Bexhill. He even went over and above trying to assist in finding our next location when that place wasn't available for more than the night booked. Thank you again.

The picture on Hotels.com is of a local attraction, not the property. Somehow I booked and there was no parking, although we were lucky enough to get street parks for both nights. The apartment has a big bedroom, a large living room and the bathroom from hell. A tiny vanity basin, toilet and shower recess, with not enough floor space for a bathmat. The shower recess needs a good scrub. The hot water system went to no water at all, then cold, then scalding. Beware. The bed was large, the mattress was thin. The apartment is behind a row of other shops and apartments so the 'view' is cars and trash bins. Good stuff - fluffy towels, white bedlinen, location was OK. Would I recommend it? Nope. Pros:

Had a weekend stay here for a friends wedding. Location is perfect for the De La Warr pavilion which was a 2min walk away. Studio situated behind a row of shops, look for Premier Stores as satnav took us to the wrong end of the road. Excellent communication from Roberto regarding check in & keysafe code. Studio (4b) had everything I needed for a perfect weekend. Woke up to a powercut which i put down to the storm we’d had but this meant my phone wasn’t charged and worse I couldn’t start the day with a coffee. Reported this to Roberto who looked into it and sent me proof that it was running again later in the day. Returned to the studio at midnight and the power cut out whilst I was in the shower. Checked out as soon as I woke up and went in search of breakfast - highly recommend Front Room on Devonshire Road. Reported powercut to Roberto and it was implied I’d plugged too many things in - I’d been out from 8am til midnight and had only used kettle, tv and then shower on my return.
