Another great stay under the Homewood Suites brand. This unit in Charlottesville looks super clean and new, with spacious bedrooms, high quality amenities and delicious breakfast. Also, a very welcome complimentary self-parking, and a perfectly well maintained self-operated laundry room. Staff were always very kind. The neighborhood has several options of restaurants and supermarkets, it’s safe and very close to UVA and the charming downtown.

Excellent hotel at what seems like a newly developed area. Room layout is as good as can be for my needs. Breakfast was decent. Indoor pool and jacuzzi big plus. Gym was ok. It was on the expensive side but I would definitely stay again.

We reserved a one-bedroom suite and we were assigned room 439 on the top floor. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and roomy, with a well equipped kitchen. The hotel has a nice exercise room and indoor pool with hot tub. Breakfast was average for this class of hotel, with pre-made omelets. The negatives were a loud room heater, a bathroom fan you can’t turn off, and thin worn out pillows.

First room a/c was broken then 2nd room was filthy. Toilet area was dirty, microwave had food splatter all inside, freezer was dirty, coffee tables had food stains on it like they weren't wiped down and the bathroom shower floor and bathroom floor was dirty and hair strands present. Will not stay here again!

The staff here was amazing, building and rooms incredibly clean. The issue we had was there was absolutely zero hot water which makes showers incredibly difficult when it’s winter and you’d rather not bathe in cold water.

This property is poorly constructed. I was awakened at 5:15 AM two mornings in a row with the noise of the guests in the room above me walking around. The noise was not slightly irritating but very noticeable. Sleep was not possible. The food was below average. We have stayed in Homewood Suites before and had a great experience. Food and quality of the building and accommodations were great. Not this time. We would not stay here again.

Absolutely the most personable and professional front desk staff we have ever encountered. Eileen provided us with an introduction to University of Virginia and Monticello and seemed eager to assist us in any way possible. She then reached out later by text, as did Marcus. Exceptional service for a family friendly suite type hotel. The room is designed to provide for longer stay with a kitchenette (full size refrigerator, cooktop, etc.), which we didn't need for an overnight stay. The sofa bed provided a comfortable seat and theking bed slept really well. We haven't had breakfast yet, but I am sure it will be fine. A great stopover experience! Thank you.

Unfortunately, the mattress was not good for us, and we left with back pain, it could be fine for other people. The advertisement of FREE WIFI is not accurate. we had to open an account with Hilton Rewards to access the FREE WIFI and it did not work at all, I was not able to do any work. They offered a PAI WIFI that I am sure worked great. The price of the room was too high since I was counting on the WIFI to do some work. The room was very spacious, and the kitchen was great. I do not plan to come back.

The room was not ready when we arrived. Had to wait almost 90 minutes for an available room. They did explain the maintenance had been performed between 12pm - 3pm and the water had been shut off to entire hotel. Not good.

The food downstairs for purchase was okay, considering we'd been driving all night and it was Christmas, so most places were closed. There were few gluten free options; nearly everything was organic, though, and the kitchens had lots of silverware, dishes, and pors and pans. The nighttime attendant was awesome and so helpful. The thermostat was wonky and the beds were really hard, so none of us slept well. Breakfast was just okay, the variety was nice, but the biscuits were dry and hard. I ate dinner eggs and sausage, and got sick shortly after. I told the gentleman about the issues when we checked out about the beds and he was unphased and clearly did not care. He told me not to come back to Homewood suites, then. Don't worry, sir! I won't!
