Condo was just as listed on the website. Very clean, well appointed kitchen except lacking any spices or condiments, including salt! There was a set of beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet. lanai was lovely, we spent a lot of time just relaxing and looking at the amazing view-a great place to relax. And, the pool was great as well.

We have stayed at Pali Ke Kua many times and specifically liked the following features in this unit during our two week October 2023 stay:1) Location - Hanalei Bay view, sunset view and Hideaway Beach access. The Pali Ke Kua units that face west with a fantastic Hanalei Bay view are our choice for North Shore accommodations. 2) Grill - Lack of a grill has been a negative when staying at Pali Ke Kua so we were very happy to find an electric grill on the patio. 3) Patio shades - Afternoon sun shining directly into units facing west makes the room hot and uncomfortable. This unit has patio sun screens that can be lowered as needed to block afternoon sun shining directly into the unit - perfect for temperature control and comfort! ALL west facing units should have shades. 4) Beach chairs - Tommy Bahama beach chairs with shoulder straps are great! Keeps hands free to carry all the other stuff to the beach. 5) Kitchen - Having a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals is a must for us. My spouse grew up in Hawaii and we look forward to preparing and enjoying local foods not readily found on the mainland when we visit. Much appreciated not listed appliances... Chefman water kettle with temperature control for preparing coffee with our Aeropress. Rice cooker. One disappointment... I inquired about an additional guest after making this somewhat last minute reservation. Kauai Vacation Rentals told me only 2 guests maximum were permitted because the unit only had beds for 2 people. During our stay, I discovered that the sofa in the living room is in fact a sofabed that can accommodate 2 additional guests.

As a ground floor unit, however, beware that noisy people upstairs can be problematic as was the case our last two nights there. Only other issue was wildlife in the bathroom. Not sure how a lizard and cricket got in, but there they were. Maybe not unexpected in tropical Hawaii. Princeville itself is paradise but isolated from South and East shore activities. Best for travellers looking for peace and quiet on the North Shore of beautiful Kauai. Would highly recommend Pali Ke Kua 112 for a relaxing vacation ecperience.

We absolutely loved our stay. The condo was very clean and well-equipped. The view was even better than it looked in the photos and has to be one of the best views on the island. The location was great with Hanalei town being a very short drive away. While there was no A/C, this wasn't an issue for us since we stayed in December and with all the windows & fans + the ocean breeze. The bed was very comfortable and the appliances were all updated too. There were several families of nenes (Hawaiian geese) that lived around the garden and would frequently join us on the balcony which was entertaining (though they did poop all over the grass and would occasionally swarm the balcony while we were relaxing, LOL). Only disappointment was that the hot tub was only open until 9pm (gate physically locks thereafter). Oh, and the handheld vacuum needs to be cleaned out so the bugs don't escape! Sadly there was no pen we could find in the condo to sign the guestbook, but we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return again! PS - For anyone looking for an exquisite meal... we absolutely loved our kaiseki dinner at 'Aina Kaua'i in Kapa'a.

We loved this location! Our family of 4 had a great time and enjoyed the pool. The views from the Lanai over the bay were stunning! Nice to have some beach chairs, cooler, and boogie boards supplies.

We loved our stay at Pali Ke Kua 110! I'm so happy we decided to go down the private path to the beach for residents only! What a lovely surprise! It is filled with black rock and it's just private and lovely. It's a little steep but nothing we couldn't handle carrying beach chairs (provided by the hosts) and our day backpacks! We loved watching the sunset on the lanai and the lounge chair was perfect for reading/tanning. It was something I didn't realize we needed/loved until we spent evenings doing so! It was our first trip to Kauai and loved everything about the location. About a 10min drive to Hanalei town!

Hideaways Beach is within walking distance and we saw a Hawaiian monk seal sunning itself. The pizza at the on-site restaurant is great, and you can stock up on groceries at the Walmart or Costco near Lihue on your way to Princeville. Otherwise there is a close grocery store just minutes away. We can’t wait to return to Kauai. This place is our favorite vacation destination because it is peaceful, serene, quiet, and the natural beauty is unparalleled. Angela from Re/Max Kauai was also a delight to work with. She was very accessible and friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

My husband and I booked this property because it had an amazing view of Bali Hai, was in a perfect location in Princeville, had a full kitchen and a washer/dryer as well as a beautiful pool and hot tub. LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay -- thank you for making our 20th anniversary celebration perfect!! :)

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo! When needing something, housekeeping was quick to accommodate. The maintenance team was helpful too. Location was very nice as we loved walking to the beaches and across to the pool and plaza. We loved that we could watch both sunrise and sunset from our beach. We had a wonderful stay.

We spent the first hour scrubbing the kitchen cabinet doors just to be hygienic enough to use. The washer was 5” out in the bathroom, making it very difficult for my wife to pass with her walker. There was sand on the floor in front of the washer and under the hinges on the cover. The walls were broken, metal flashing rusted, and showing damage from flooding. The carpet was cheap and poorly installed. The outside furniture was painted whit, even over the plastic webbing. All very inexcusable for such a beautiful location.

Starting from the beginning, the check in process wasn’t very smooth. We had to download a 3rd party app to get the check in instructions and communication of this was outside of VRBO. Once we arrive at the rental, we were initially very impressed with the place. The views were amazing and it was in a beautiful area, but our perception changed quick when we encountered some issues. After a little bit, we noticed that due to the tropical nature of the place there were a lot of small bugs around the property. There were a bit of gnats and flies throughout the place. After we got settled, we see 2 cockroaches in the living area. We communicated this with management and they sent someone to drop off some traps. However, on the second night, we then again found another cockroach near our toddler’s crib. We understand it’s a tropical place, but we’ve never had this issue in the past when visiting the island. Due to the amount of bugs and dirty property, we decided that this place was not for us and left prematurely. Overall a beautiful area, but would not recommend due to the cleanliness.

Other window screens bent and ripped. The microwave door felt greasy. Old house musty odor. It was obvious there was no pride in ownership or in the product that is being offered to the public. We had a wonderful 4 nights. Wish it could have been longer. Really well equipped, clean and spectacular location.

This beautiful condo has the same furniture it did many years ago. The living room furniture is too big and cluttered for comfort, we had to rearrange everything and stack some pieces in the corner. The mattress is old and there are missing and mismatched appliances in the cupboards. Many drawers and cabinets are stuffed full of old broken games and junk collected over the years, including old eyeglass cases and other personal stuff. The owners need to come in here and clean everything out to justify the cost to stay here. That said the view was gorgeous and this property is fantastic .

The view is what you come here for. Absolutely stunning. The lanai is a lovely place for morning coffee, sunset cocktails and listening to the surf at night. Condo is comfortable but it can get very hot, especially in bedroom upstairs. The afternoon sun heats the main room and the lack of screens on front door limits the amount of cross-breeze. I'm not an AC person but it was hot enough in October to need it. Good location in Princeville; near Hideaway beach for those up to the challenge of walking down to it; going for coffee or a drink at 1 Hotel down the street is a nice outing. Beach below resort is quite rocky and not very swimmable when we were there. Beach chairs and umbrella are in need of replacing. One of the 3 chairs was completely broken, as was the umbrella. Provisions on hand were meager (as in no or unusable salt, no sugar for morning coffee, etc.). Not expecting much but do expect the bare minimum. A quick trip to Costco is needed. Nice welcome basket on arrival with coffee, granola, etc. which was much appreciated. Vacasa is very good; easy to work with. We had problems with the lock and the person after hours was very patient with us on the phone telling us how to access the condo.

Very recently updated condo w/ new kitchen including cabinets, excellent appliances, lots of kitchen equipment/supplies. Excellent living room and bedroom updates including very comfy king bed. Beautiful bathroom updates. New flooring throughout is very attractive. Overall, our stay was wonderful with the new updates we appreciated, very clean environment, outstanding view and proximity to Kauai beauty! Two negatives: The new kitchen chairs were very uncomfortable and would prefer the table and chairs to be regular height, not tall please. I know this is personal preference, but we did not like the two new LR and BR black walls; not our idea of beauty and peace. But we certainly understand we do not own this lovely condo!

We have been to the island five times, and this was our second time in Princeville. The first thing I said as we walked in the door and down the steps was, "Oh, my...can you believe that?" The view from the balcony is the best I've ever seen, marked by the mountains on the left and ocean for as far as you can see. As they say, you can't move the property. But the home itself was remarkable as well. We had everything we needed, from comfortable beds to sundries to all the beach equipment we needed, including snorkeling gear. All the kitchen equipment is in great shape, unlike what you sometimes find in vacation rentals. Very tastefully decorated. The location is perfect. The market is just a short drive away and you can walk down to the beach (it's about a 15 minute walk). I highly recommend this property and I hope to be back next year!

We really loved the location (short drive to Hanalei) and the view overlooking the ocean. The VRBO was clean and well stocked with beach gear and kitchen supplies. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The only note is that it is a 1st floor unit with a unit above. There were jumping/running/yelling kid guests above us, and they could be heard in this VRBO. These guests were respectful of the quiet hours, and we chose to travel around Kauai rather than stay in the VRBO during the daytime. It's still a really great VRBO, and a better deal than the One resort hotel just steps down the road.

This condo was amazing. Comfortable beds. Beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. The private beach is just outside your door is a treat! Gorgeous! The condo cools off a lot at night and with the fan we slept great! We arrived late at night so because it was so dark it wasn’t easy finding the condo. The listing needs to include the building number to go along with the condo number for future guests. Also, please note that the light switches for the kitchen/dining area are on the side of the kitchen cabinets and not on the wall like usual light switches and the lamps/light switches are connected. When we arrived it was so dark and had to use flashlights to locate the random light switches in the kitchen and to turn on the switches and the coordinating lamps. A little aggravating when you’ve been flying for 15 hours and can’t find any working lights . The cleaning crew came by twice before our checkout time of 10am (8am and 9:30am) which was a little annoying. Let guests check out before you send your cleaning crew. It made us feel unnecessarily rushed and uncomfortable. Overall great stay and would come again!

The view from the patio was just wonderful! Although the property was clean it needed some furniture upgrades. The patio furniture was old and painted over; the vinyl straps were cracked and peeling. The living room furniture also needed upgrades. However, the view and sunsets every evening was spectacular.

Nice property clean apartment with a great view, however condo gets warm in afternoon due to western exposure, AC is needed in this condo.

This time we stayed for 9 nights in Pali Ke Kau112. This 1 bedroom condo sat on the cliffs overlooking the NaPali coast. Specifics: the king bed was very comfortable, the bedroom had lots of space, there was a smart TV in the bedroom. The bathroom had a great shower, I would have liked some more bar soap but we bought some great handmade soap at an art fair so that worked out. Nice soft towels with separate towels for the pool. Kitchen- great pans, minimal extras such as spices. We have been in other places where there are many spices, oils, etc and there was not much here. Tons of wine glasses but not much in the way of storage containers.They supplied beach chairs, etc.There is a very steep path to Hideaway Beach which is beautiful. Don’t let the path dissuade you from going down!Overall we loved this place. Listening to the surf every night was amazing and the views at every minute of the day did not disappoint.We had a problem with the toaster on the first day and Phoebe from Kauai Rental was right over with a new one. Their app is great with wonderful information, they have check in and check out down to a science, and they are very responsive to any issues. We will be sure to use them every time we return to Kauai!

Absolutely stunning. I couldn’t think of a more perfect place in paradise to take in the northern shore of Kauai. Great location to beaches, restaurants, grocery and more for both walking and driving. Sunsets for a lifetime, beautiful wildlife and clean amenities/grounds. Host was very informative, responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. Their management team was great. Nothing broke or was needed during our stay but I’m sure if it was an issue we couldn’t live without, they would remedy quickly and effectively. Until next time!

The view was superb. The parking was always excellent. Location was good enough, and the main highway was accessible within 5 minutes. The location is within a short drive of a grocery store and several restaurants. A manager hassled us the day before check-out to see if we were leaving that day (we were not). A simple mistake, but something I would double-check before knocking.

This was our 1st time on Kauai, It was recommended that we stay in Princeville for the sheer beauty of the area. They were right we loved the North side of the Island as well as Princeville. It is truly picture perfect. The condo was located on a bluff with a gorgeous view. The condo was the perfect size for 2 people. There are restaurants and coffee shops close and the town of Hanalei Bay is just a few minutes away. The Hidden beach below the Condo was very nice and I did some snorkeling there and saw to many turtles to count. All and all we highly recommend the area for you next stay.

The pictures you see on the listing are accurate! This place was amazing! It's a corner first-floor condo looking west and north with a fantastic view and gorgeous sunsets. It was immaculately clean, and the Remax people that run it for the owners were very responsive. It's a short 10-15 minute drive to Hanalei where you can find everything you need. Don't hesitate to book this place! If/when we come back to Kauai, we'll hope to stay here again!

The view from the balcony is the best I've ever seen, marked by the mountains on the left and ocean for as far as you can see. As they say, you can't move the property. But the home itself was remarkable as well. We had everything we needed, from comfortable beds to sundries to all the beach equipment we needed, including snorkeling gear. All the kitchen equipment is in great shape, unlike what you sometimes find in vacation rentals. Very tastefully decorated. The location is perfect. The market is just a short drive away and you can walk down to the beach (it's about a 15 minute walk). I highly recommend this property and I hope to be back next year!

Absolutely stunning. I couldn’t think of a more perfect place in paradise to take in the northern shore of Kauai. Great location to beaches, restaurants, grocery and more for both walking and driving. Sunsets for a lifetime, beautiful wildlife and clean amenities/grounds. Host was very informative, responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. Their management team was great. Nothing broke or was needed during our stay but I’m sure if it was an issue we couldn’t live without, they would remedy quickly and effectively. Until next time!

We loved our stay at Pali Ke Kua 110! I'm so happy we decided to go down the private path to the beach for residents only! What a lovely surprise! It is filled with black rock and it's just private and lovely. It's a little steep but nothing we couldn't handle carrying beach chairs (provided by the hosts) and our day backpacks! We loved watching the sunset on the lanai and the lounge chair was perfect for reading/tanning. It was something I didn't realize we needed/loved until we spent evenings doing so! It was our first trip to Kauai and loved everything about the location. About a 10min drive to Hanalei town!

Incredible views right out the back door; loved having a terrific snorkeling beach just a short walk away. Great proximity to Hanalei and other beaches. Rental management was easy to communicate with and helpful

The view was superb. The parking was always excellent. Location was good enough, and the main highway was accessible within 5 minutes. The location is within a short drive of a grocery store and several restaurants. A manager hassled us the day before check-out to see if we were leaving that day (we were not). A simple mistake, but something I would double-check before knocking.

The view is what you come here for. Absolutely stunning. The lanai is a lovely place for morning coffee, sunset cocktails and listening to the surf at night. Condo is comfortable but it can get very hot, especially in bedroom upstairs. The afternoon sun heats the main room and the lack of screens on front door limits the amount of cross-breeze. I'm not an AC person but it was hot enough in October to need it. Good location in Princeville; near Hideaway beach for those up to the challenge of walking down to it; going for coffee or a drink at 1 Hotel down the street is a nice outing. Beach below resort is quite rocky and not very swimmable when we were there. Beach chairs and umbrella are in need of replacing. One of the 3 chairs was completely broken, as was the umbrella. Provisions on hand were meager (as in no or unusable salt, no sugar for morning coffee, etc.). Not expecting much but do expect the bare minimum. A quick trip to Costco is needed. Nice welcome basket on arrival with coffee, granola, etc. which was much appreciated. Vacasa is very good; easy to work with. We had problems with the lock and the person after hours was very patient with us on the phone telling us how to access the condo.

Condo was just as listed on the website. Very clean, well appointed kitchen except lacking any spices or condiments, including salt! There was a set of beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet. lanai was lovely, we spent a lot of time just relaxing and looking at the amazing view-a great place to relax. And, the pool was great as well.

This time we stayed for 9 nights in Pali Ke Kau112. This 1 bedroom condo sat on the cliffs overlooking the NaPali coast. Specifics: the king bed was very comfortable, the bedroom had lots of space, there was a smart TV in the bedroom. The bathroom had a great shower, I would have liked some more bar soap but we bought some great handmade soap at an art fair so that worked out. Nice soft towels with separate towels for the pool. Kitchen- great pans, minimal extras such as spices. We have been in other places where there are many spices, oils, etc and there was not much here. Tons of wine glasses but not much in the way of storage containers.They supplied beach chairs, etc.There is a very steep path to Hideaway Beach which is beautiful. Don’t let the path dissuade you from going down!Overall we loved this place. Listening to the surf every night was amazing and the views at every minute of the day did not disappoint.We had a problem with the toaster on the first day and Phoebe from Kauai Rental was right over with a new one. Their app is great with wonderful information, they have check in and check out down to a science, and they are very responsive to any issues. We will be sure to use them every time we return to Kauai!

We were very satisfied with the condo overall and were especially happy to find a working washer and dryer in the unit. Hideaways Pizza Pub right onsite was an added bonus and very good. As a ground floor unit, however, beware that noisy people upstairs can be problematic as was the case our last two nights there. Only other issue was wildlife in the bathroom. Not sure how a lizard and cricket got in, but there they were. Maybe not unexpected in tropical Hawaii. Princeville itself is paradise but isolated from South and East shore activities. Best for travellers looking for peace and quiet on the North Shore of beautiful Kauai. Would highly recommend Pali Ke Kua 112 for a relaxing vacation ecperience.

This condo has a fantastic view, perhaps one of the best in the whole country. The place was well decorated and full of wonderful amenities, including: booggie boards, chairs, a cooler and towels. I tried to contact the manager via Vrbo/Vacassa three times to check on beach equipment prior to departure, but received no reply. Like most Hawaii condos there were no spices other than salt and pepper, however, the kitchen and cleaning supplies were great. This is a truly wonderful place with and easy to maintain. Kauai is now "over touristed" (our 8th visit) and having a great place to just think and veg made our romantic vacation worth the trip. Aloha

My husband and I have stayed in #118 three times, and it is perfect. The location can’t be beat! It’s a corner unit with a gorgeous view of the sunset each night. It is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped, and it’s just the right size for 2 people. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, and you are close to several fantastic beaches. Hideaways Beach is within walking distance and we saw a Hawaiian monk seal sunning itself. The pizza at the on-site restaurant is great, and you can stock up on groceries at the Walmart or Costco near Lihue on your way to Princeville. Otherwise there is a close grocery store just minutes away. We can’t wait to return to Kauai. This place is our favorite vacation destination because it is peaceful, serene, quiet, and the natural beauty is unparalleled. Angela from Re/Max Kauai was also a delight to work with. She was very accessible and friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
