Not a good experience! We specifically booked this apartment hotel so that we could do our wash during a multi week trip. The dryer portion of the combination washer/dryer was broken, so only one load was done and hung out to dry after five hours of tumbling, but not drying. As the staff is only available from 9 AM until 5PM, it was impossible for us to use another unit to dry our clothes when we were out sight seeing. We also had a bad experience trying to book a taxi to the airport for an early morning flight. This was due to the lack of staff and the inability of the Radio Taxi that was recommended to communicate with us. Although the location is convenient to the Guggenheim Bilbao, I would not recommend this facility. They need to “up” their service, clean the rooms over numerous day stays and provide coffee on a daily basis. We also tried to book parking weeks in advanced and it was already full. I was also concerned that they requested payment through a link when hotels.com had all my payment information and a payment scheduled. I thought this was a scam as I had received a messsge from another hotel booked through hotels.com advising that they never contact patrons directly to request payments. I would advise anyone considering staying here to thing again.

The 1 bedroom apartment was large, very comfortable and very well equipped! The added deck/balcony was wonderful! We didn’t cook although the kitchen seemed well appointed. We did use the washer/dryer which came with detergent which was very nice. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful but leave by 5 pm. This wasn’t an issue for us.

The room was brilliant and had everything that we needed for our stay. It was also verry spacious and clean! The location was also ideal and only a short walk from the majority of attractions in Bilbao. Highly recommend!

We needed somewhere to stay, conveniently positioned, and with facilities that suited a four night stay. The Abba Suites were excellent in most respects. The concierge service was always polite and helpful. The suite itself possessed all necessary conveniences. We were centrally located, a short walk from the Gugenheim and the old town. Supermarkets and bars and restaurants were all close by. We have just two reservations. The drier in our apartment did not work, though the concierge was quick to find a solution. Parking in the vicinity is a headache. We thought we had reserved a parking spot but were informed they were all taken. So we had to juggle with street parking and eventually settled for the public parking-garage nearby ( 29 euros for 24 hours). 0verall, though, we were happy with experience.
