We stayed in a family room, it was very dated, stains on the carpet, used tissues under the mattress, stains on sheets, ripped pillows, mould in the bathroom, shower head held together by an elastic band with water spurting up onto ceiling, sharp hazard sticking out on bath panel, iron mark on carpet, cobwebs around the room. All issues raised with reception, they just said rooms are regularly cleaned, put issues in an email to management - still no response after 3 weeks. Breakfast poor, sausage like rubber, ants on the table. Ideal location but hotel very poor, needs a massive upgrade. Thankfully we were just there for one night, wouldn’t visit again! Have photos to prove the mentioned. Avoid!

We chose this hotel because of the pool and spa as my husband has just finished his treatment. So I thought I would treat him to a well deserved relaxing break. No information was given to let us know there were no spa facilities as they were undergoing a refurb secondly on attempting the pool we were ordered to wear a swimming cap and could only swim in lengths!! No relaxing area. The room was tired and the key to the balcony was stiff and we couldn’t open the door to make use of the balcony in all a very disappointing stay

First room - hair on bathroom floor, sink and toilet. Bottom of the bath missing. Hook on bathroom door hanging off. The sleeping area very nice, clean tidy. Garden view, view of the pool, little balcony area all very nice. However a room around us smoked constantly and due to the hot weather and no air con we had to choose between letting the smell into the room or baking. (Heatwave happening) We brought it to the hotels attention at 9pm, the room was getting too hot and the smoking was still happening, staff gave us another room. Lost the view we paid for, but thankful there was space to move. Second room, pull out bed was pretty appalling- you could feel very spring. Hair on the bathroom floor again. Main bed and sleeping area very nice. Breakfast and dinner - plenty of variety, very nice staff, pretty long waits for dinner, but the staff were very busy and managing the situation very well. I wont return for another stay, dont think it was worth the extra cost.

It’s a cheap hotel so you can’t expect much. The staff do their best with limited means. Don’t eat at the restaurant- it’s all frozen meals and microwaves. The front desk are helpful and the waiting staff doing all they can for you. The swimming pool is just that so don’t get your hopes up.

Stayed 2 nights

Enjoyed a stay for 2 nights in this hotel. The room was clean and bright, the staff were friendly. The breakfast was good with the usual range of food available. We stayed on 2 of the hottest days of the year, so the pool provided a welcome cool down. I chose a superior room and was glad I had, as there was enough room for us including the dog and 2 windows to try & let some air through. The bathroom was a bit of a challenge having the sun all day and no opening window but am sure on a day that wasn’t 32 degrees this would not be a problem.
