We enjoyed the dining options which were breakfast included and then the dinners. The dinners were delicious with a great atmosphere. The room was well set for our family of 4 and the bathroom was very clean and functioned well. Parking was convenient with no concerns. Had a great time and hope to return.

The room was incredibly clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely! Parking was a nice perk. The staff were incredibly helpful. Great place to stop if you're planning on doing a day or two on Isle of Skye.

Thia hotel was really nice. In a very quiet area in Isle of skie. I loved the landacape, the old building and how they repserved everything. It is true it doesn't have elevator but it is not a reason to discredit all the plus and how comfortable they made us feel. Breakfast was really good and service exceptional.

Room was large and location of the hotel was good. Staff person was rude, room was over the bar and the noise level was annoying. There was no elevator and no offer of assistance with luggage. Also no breakfast was included. Would never recommend - felt ripped off for the price we paid for the room.

It would be very beneficial for them to install an elevator - just a small one to handle luggage up the stairs. Wonderful hosts - just can't seem to do enough to make sure you are happy. Loved this place.

Great long weekend stay. Ideally located for getting about the island. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable. Food in both the bar and restaurant was delicious. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely be back.

Great hotel and better staff! One small issue was that we stayed 2 nights, and had to change rooms. We weren't notified of this before. Not sure if it was an Expedia issue or hotel, but a minor inconvenience. Loved their ties to Drambuie liquor! EXCELLENT restaurant on-site.

Pretty disappointed with my stay in all honesty. For £300 per night, I would expect a hell of a lot more. No breakfast was included. There was no hairdryer in the room. Paint was flaking off the woodwork. Loose tiles on the bathroom floor. Loud music from bar area until after 10:30pm. I could hear people from other rooms constantly stomping around, banging doors etc. An absolute rip off charging obscene amounts of money.

This hotel should be an idilic getaway on a stunningly beautiful island. For the price paid for the room, it is woefully inadequate. Rusty radiator in the bathroom, toilet roll holder broken, bath towels filthy, television not working. Stair banister missing in places and visible grime on the white gloss painted areas. It is quite obvious the staff are not trained or equipped to deal with the number of residents, the staffing numbers are ridiculously low. Quite possibly the worst value for money we have ever experienced whilst booking through Expedia.

The first night I couldn’t sleep because they did not vacuum the room and it smelled like wet dog. The restaurant had poor service and a boring menu. The wait staff didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing and seemed more anxious to close up than be attentive. They forgot to bring me my drink. There was literally no salad in the menu, the closest thing to a vegetable was a bruschetta on questionable, grey bread. However it was quite pricey. Later that night I woke up with food poisoning. That’s just the main points. There were lots of other little things wrong with food and cleanliness of the place. Basically the hotel was really really over priced and dirty. I’m definitely not coming back.

The quality & service at breakfast was 10/10 - thank you to the fantastic host who seamlessly did 10 people’s work! The room (No 2) however had major issues - not worth £400 per night. Dirty metal/copper sink and bath, no AC, swarms of midges outside so the window cannot be opened at all - no air circulation, smell of dog strong initially, itchy bedsheets, dirty carpet and bad drainage in shower caused overflow anytime we showered. Overall OK, we managed, and Skye is beautiful but not worth £400 per night!

The best hotel on our road trip. Handy location, beautiful setting, lovely rooms with wonderful bedding. My husband didn't want to get out of bed the next morning because it was so comfortable. Highly recommended.

We loved the Inn because it’s not fancy yet it’s very comfortable. Our room was spacious but sparsely furnished with a Very unique bathroom with free standing stainless steel tub and sink. The views across the harbor were stunning. And while the restaurant was fine, with decent food (great fish and chips even for this gluten intolerant diner!) it’s a very casual dining experience. Be prepared for a slow pace.

Booked the room with the queen size bed and a pill out couch for the kiddo. Loved the vintage feel of the room except that the shower had a slow drain. We contacted the front desk and this young lady came over right away and fixed it. Great water pressure. We also had dinner at the restaurant and had a lovely view of Bradford Bay in front of the hotel. We were taken care of by the same young lady that checked us in and help us with the drain situation. We were a bit worried she was the only staff at the hotel. She was lovely and had a great positive attitude.

Check-in was atrocious! Waited 10 minutes at unattended desk, a passing barman then processed our check-in, demanding £279 payment for our room upfront before he would issue our room key. There was no room service available, I returned to reception to enquire about room service only to find my previously filled out personal details form lying in open view on the reception counter for all to see (my data protection was non-existent). Restaurant service was undertaken by the Receptionist/Barman, I waited 10 minutes for service and decided to leave after being ignored by waiting staff. I eventually enjoyed my dinner at the pizza joint round the corner from hotel.

The service at this hotel is consistently terrible. We stay 1 night every year and it is now part of the experience. The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms are really nice. So if you have a sense of humour and are willing to deal with the service it is a nice place to stay overnight.

It isn’t very different from the last time we stayed here 4 years ago but they have nearly no staff. Same guy checks in guests and seats for dinner and serves dinner and cleans the rooms. Convenient location and comfortable mostly clean rooms but bring your patience.
It isn’t very different from the last time we stayed here 4 years ago but they have nearly no staff. Same guy checks in guests and seats for dinner and serves dinner and cleans the rooms. Convenient location and comfortable mostly clean rooms but bring your patience.

Property was nice. Staff very friendly. We had issues in our room and unfortunately could never get ahold of any staff members to help us. Seems like they are understaffed. Wish they were available to help us, would have rated the hotel higher.

Lovely hotel in Skye. It's a good drive to Portree which has all the action but there are good restaurants and cafes in Broadford and it's much quieter. The hotel is located across from the water and there's a beautiful walking path with some ruins along the way. Staff are very friendly. It's quite informal with a few staffers playing multiple roles but they get the job done. We also ate dinner and breakfast in the dining room and both were excellent. The pub is really fun too.

We enjoyed the dining options which were breakfast included and then the dinners. The dinners were delicious with a great atmosphere. The room was well set for our family of 4 and the bathroom was very clean and functioned well. Parking was convenient with no concerns. Had a great time and hope to return.

The first night I couldn’t sleep because they did not vacuum the room and it smelled like wet dog. The restaurant had poor service and a boring menu. The wait staff didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing and seemed more anxious to close up than be attentive. They forgot to bring me my drink. There was literally no salad in the menu, the closest thing to a vegetable was a bruschetta on questionable, grey bread. However it was quite pricey. Later that night I woke up with food poisoning. That’s just the main points. There were lots of other little things wrong with food and cleanliness of the place. Basically the hotel was really really over priced and dirty. I’m definitely not coming back.

We had a lovely stay at Broadford Hotel. It’s a charming property. The common areas can use a little uplift but our room was lovely. It was clean and well maintained and nicely decorated. The location of the hotel is beautiful and convenient to explore Isle of Skye. The food at the on site restaurant was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Isle of Skye or neighboring areas.
