An Industrial grade hotel. Large, ugly and minimal effort into making it anything else. Automated check-in. Expensive, limited dining options, soft mattress, thin towels, non-working soap dispensers, needs a good clean. Pleasant staff. Lots of parking.

Our room had leaking toilet & broken fridge so i asked to change room. Second room had dirty carpet. Light dimmers for night weren’t working. Triple room had two plates, two dirty plastic mugs & 1 glass to drink water. Room wasn’t able to reduce noise from other rooms. I’ve requested to join two single beds of our triple bed room for me and my wife & leave single bed for my kid, it’s got denied. Beddings were in bad condition & worn out. Duvet didn’t have cover instead was covered with a bed sheet, so while sleeping it just became a mess every night. I wouldn’t stay here again

Killed 2 cockroaches on my way into my room. Check in and check didn’t speak to anyone it’s automated desk. Had to stick a towel on the ground behind the door to stop the light from the hall, noise from the hall and more cockroach’s coming in. Shower head sprayed water everywhere leaking in multiple spots. Quite dated and disappointing for an Accor venue

Our room was clean and perfect for our 2 night stay, our bathroom however had a terrible smell that took your breath away when opening the bathroom door, could not keep it open otherwise the smell would go through the room. Firstly, we were greeted by an electronic check in device! ( very impersonal ) One only toilet roll, no tea towel, no dishwashing liquid, black unhygienic mould in shower recess and the most uncomfortable squeaky bed mattress I’ve ever slept on! Woke up with an aching lower back! Three pillows instead of four! Most disappointing

After reading so many negative online reviews, I wasn’t expecting much. Yes, the room is small and so is the bathroom but it has everything you need for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable, bedding of good quality, bathroom very clean, loved having the microwave and kitchenette as well as a small table and chairs and a sofa for relaxing. There’s plenty of free parking too. Access to rooms seems odd though as you have to pass the kitchen to get to lift and hallway. Staff were pleasant if seemingly quite inexperienced (probably a legacy of Covid). Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The remoteness is not in anyway a comment on the great hospitality experienced front the entire Mercure staff. This was my home away from home for almost 4weeks and I greatly enjoyed my stay. The room was a key reason for selecting; the hotel over a closer I is offering; very spacious with a huge wardrobe, big bathroom and walk in shower. The room also had a sink, cups (only recommendation is to include washing liquid) kettle, cutlery and a microwave, (however inline with the notices, probably not a good idea to use the. Microwave unless truly desperate) . The remoteness I referred to has a knock on impact that it's a long way to the nearest station plus you will need to factor in travel costs to and from the hotel. If you don't mi do the occasional walk like myself it's a nice 35 minute stroll in good sunshine. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my Mercure Hotel experience.

Toilet paper holder fell off the wall. Towel holder due to fall off wall soon. Nespresso machine but no pods. Noisy aircon grill through the night - expanding/contracting loud. Noisy weird water gurgle through the night - loud. Towel still had makeup or whatever on it but it did smell like a clean towel. grubby paintwork. Shower head way too low. And all this in a 'superior' room.

We enjoyed our stay at Mercure Sydney Blacktown. It was a smooth process to check in and out at the kiosk. I approached Sher at the reception as I needed more information, she provided excellent customer service, was very helpful and professional.

Didn’t like the automated check in process. The room wasn’t set up as requested - three beds. One staff member on duty trying to serve the bar, assist with guest queries and check in issues. Breakfast was really good value.

Stayed a week and room etc was good. WIFI worked great and great to see laundry and cafe on site. Only issue was the reception staff. I arrived to a guy asking me 'was I booked in'. NO hello or smile or welcome, I feel I was a real inconvenience. 2 days later I came back and went to Reception to ask something and the a different guy was on the phone. A simple smile would have been good but the glare I got was disgusting. Customer service these days is not around

My flights was delayed so I called up the hotel to let them know I will be arriving almost 2 days late. They were ok with it. When I got there they gave me a key to my room. I went to the room and someone was already staying in itZ the bed was h made and there was a bag full of cans. The towels had been used. Immediately I went to the masher who was an uncooperative and arrogant man. He organised another room but was far from apologetic and had the worst attitude for someone working with the Accor brand. I asked for a better room which he basically denied could be changed. Basically told me I don’t care if you complain touch luck. The breakfast which I paid for was below par. The buffet spread was barely anything. Absolutely disappointing amd certainly not a 4 star rating - misleading

All was good until checking out. I was charged the incorrect room rate. When I questioned it, I was told it was too late. It had already been charged to my credit card. I was promised a call back the same day to rectify and almost a week later have heard nothing. I have sent 3 emails with no response and have tried phoning the property but the phone rings out. Not what you would expect from Accor.

Enjoyed two nights at Mercure, close to the motorsport complex, easy to find great facilities, especially the shower ,after a day at the races. Having a Maccas across the car park, cant all be bad for a late night snack. Spacious room, all good.

I came all the way from Hawaii to Australia on my first time visit to the country, the staff at the Mercure is very nice from the workers at the front desk to the the cleaners and the cooks. The continental breakfast is the best. I will always stay here when ever I visit my family in Australia again, thank you staff for the pleasant hospitality.

Breakfast starts at 6am, I was there at 6.05 and played up to cold cooked mushrooms, cold bacon and Luke warm eggs. The orange juice was warmer! Rooms are ok, pretty quiet but limiting. Disappointed overall

Breakfast was a bit poor besides having to wait for plates as there was none available and same with milk for the coffee machine. Maybe a second machine or bigger machine is needed for the coffee and more staff serving breakfast

I read the other reviews and agree with them. Only booked as everything else was booked out last minute. The food (room service and breakfast buffet) were terrible quality, couldn't eat it. Strange smells in the long hallways too.

The room was nice enough, but the awful self check in system was a terrible introduction to the hotel. Paid for the buffet breakfast which was OK, but the coffee machine was broken and there were dirty plates on almost every table waiting to be cleaned up.

Tv didn’t work, option the chrome cast but didn’t work, was locked out of bathroom so receptionist had to come and unlock it; this didn’t seem a new thing. Ordered room service - waited 50 minutes and called down to reception and was told a ticket never came through and was asked to wait another 20/30 minutes. Came just over 30 mins later with 2 free kitkats and a free coke but steak was ordered medium rare and was well done, ordered fried rice and was given undercooked white rice. Bathroom floor was all variations of white through black. The only plus to this place is the lovely receptionist everything else I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.
