Nostalgia

The rooms were very difficult to find (took over 2.5 hours to find) - the pin on the map is in the wrong part of Skiathos town; the Skiathos tourist office could not help locate the rooms; locals identified a possible location from the website photos, but these photos were not from any of the rooms - beware there are no sea views; even the Hotels.com helpdesk provided a wrong pin when we reached out to them for help; NOTE there is no way to contact the owner (neither by phone nor by e-mail). When we eventually arrived at Nostalgia (a few locals beat the jungle drums and the owner came to meet us) we found the room had the bare minimum amenities. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were provided, and the air conditioning worked really well.

The area has a lot of restaurants. One room has a non working aircon. We have to open the door to let the cool air in. Bathroom is too cramped. No shower holder. The staff is really good. He picked us from the old port. He ordered taxi for us at 8:30 am.

Very close to port and ferry, close to many bars, cafes and restaurants. Very noisy in the evening until late.

Only stayed 1 night greatovation in the heart of Skiathos.

Owner helped us with bags which was appreciated but the room smelled like a cat had been in, beds were hard. But, if you don’t mind that, it was close to the town.
