Would recommend although be aware that although the free loyalty membership scheme - which I have - gives 10% of food & drink, the food (breakfast) is expensive, and as I found out at the bar (no mention of this on the posters or check-in staff who reminded me of the 10% off food and drinks) the 10% only applies on soft drinks! Having said that, a lovely place to stay, very convenient for Lime St station & the Empire Theatre🙂

As fairly experienced travellers in our Eighties, we were surprised to find no concierge to help people carry luggage up and down the stairs from street level to hotel lobby. And those steps have no rail either . There is , we eventually noticed, a lift contraption at another entrance but it is unclear how to operate it. Speaking of ease , the layout of a ‘standard’ room is such that space between the desk chair ( almost unmoveable ) and the end of the bed is very constricted. The hotel in general, however, is very clean.

Prestige Hotel in a premier position as we were going to the Empire Theatre ! Room was fairly small but a king size bed and really nice shower/toilet en-suite ! My partner said she would have preferred if the dressing table had a mirror instead of having to use the bathroom mirror there was however a full length mirror in the room ! There isn’t any actual parking at the hotel but St John’s car park is very close by and only £6 per day ! I have one complaint! When I booked there was a promotion offering a free drink per person and as I paid in full over a month before my stay I expected this to be honoured ! However they apparently discontinued this before our stay so we didn’t receive this promotion!

Room had fridge ironing board .modern big bed . Good toiletries. Even had our expedia free drink voucher in room havent had that in any other placecstayed without asking next door to theatre and station. Negative high prices of drinks in bar and a service charge for carrying drink to table !

We always enjoy our stay at the Radisson red but this time the bar and restaurant were closed to residents due to a private function in the evening. You could order drinks but had to sit in the foyer which isn’t ideal as it’s small and not the bar area which I have to say is the pull for us to go to the hotel. Other than this the hotel was excellent as always. On asking the staff about why it had not been made clear the bar and restaurant areas would be out of bounds when booking they just said it was a private function. I just think it should have been made clear when booking as for us we would have probably have stayed elsewhere. Shame otherwise this would have been a 5 star rating.

Parking at St Johns and being disabled was a nightmare ,even though I emailed the hotel prior !! reception watched my wife struggle with our luggage ,no support. The room was so small and very dark décor and very dusty When the toilet flushes its like a bomb going off ,not for the faint hearted ,even with a warning sign! television had to be fully rebooted by maintenance ...We could hear all night all the rooms above us showering and using the loo !! The restaurant had to wait 50 mins for a table , the wooden floor was filthy ,black dirt on all walkways ,dreadful! breakfast food was also very poor and obviously cooked the night before ,eggs made from powder formula, bacon rock hard , all food just Luke warm. Also don't look up to see the thick dust on the painted black pipes ..upholstery was also very stained and dirty in the restaurant , the bar was so small and on average you waited around 12 to 15 minutes to get served .... on check out telling the two guys in reception of the issues ,fell on deaf ears ! but that was through out this hotel ,no customer service what so ever ! Our weekend to my best buddy wedding was a ruined by Radisson Red !! one compliment is for the PM chef for his food at dinner , well done chef ...; you ned to move on to be valued though ! so thanks Radisson for ruining our weekend in Liverpool ...

Lovely room excellent quality bed linen and towels. Very comfortable bed. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Shame there was no shower gel in bottle, but didnt spoil a lovely stay.

The hotel looks impressive. Staff were very attentive. The room was nice, spacious and a nice temperature. There were a few crumbs, fluff and a receipt on the floor so could have been cleaner. The biggest disappointment was the lack of biscuits. Perhaps swap the shoe shine kit or shower cap for some biscuits. It's a shame as the coffee facilities were good but only 2 tea bags and 2 coffee pods. Breakfast there was a good choice and everything was fresh and lovely. Overall our stay was very pleasant and everything within a good distance.

Hotel was perfect location and spotlessly clean. Our room was on the 6th floor, and although it had air conditioning it didn’t have an opening window, I struggled with this, not having any fresh air. I would stay here again but certainly not in a room with no opening windows .

The room was in the roof space - good overall but only two tiny windows and a skylight. Staff are excellent and very welcoming. Restaurant manager is super hospitable! Cooked breakfast was good but a little overcooked Excellent location right next to Lime St station and 10 mins from loads of restaurant choices

Soundproofing needs work big time for both trains and people in surrounding rooms/floors above as it sounded like herds of elephants when everyone came back I’ve stayed in hotels next to airports with no noise disturbance from planes at all but the trains at lime street sounded like thunder every 15 mins or so

We had booked a room with a view, which apparently was not available. The hotel gave us an upgrade which had absolutely no view, just a skylight. If felt like we were prison cell.

Sent numerous emails to firstly select our room, but it was only upgrades that came up and then I was sent numerous emails to check in on line, which I did, only to be told they don’t have the bar code scanner, so we had to check in all over again. Room was small but had everything we needed and was clean, as was the bathroom.

Staff friendly. Told us we had been upgraded but the room was far smaller than the one we had previously. Complete lack of storage so we had to live out of suitcases which wasn't ideal as we couldnt use the chair in the roon

Ignorant staff on arrival to check in. Card in room saying “ IT'S THE NUMBER THAT DOES ANYTHING (ALMOST) A HOTLINE TO OUR 24/7 HELP-SQUAD WE'RE HERE FOR WHATEVER YOU FANCY SNACKS, BOOKINGS, EXTRA PILLOWS (OR SOMETHING TOTALLY OUTSIDE THE BOX) PICK UP THE PHONE AND WE'LL GIVE IT A SHOT” Called up and asked for a bottle of champagne and glasses to the room. They declined and said they’re too busy to do room service today. Making our Valentines night extra special having to nip to the local Sainsbury’s to buy a bottle!

Nice hotel but the reception experience is a bit bizarre. The woman wasn't super welcoming or talkative and I wasn't sure if I needed to type everything in myself or if she would do it. Ended up a kind of half and half. Room was decent but expected the Expedia VIP upgrade for such a big hotel.

this hotel is 9.2 on your website. Not possible. They have a kiosk check in which did not work. Was not offered an upgrade even though there were rooms available at check in as a Platinum Hotel.com customer. Room showed Nespresson machine in the room I booked which they did not have Just kettle and instant coffee. No showering Gel in the bottle in the shower was not filled. this is not what was expected from what was advertised

The location of the hotel is very convenient, but unfortunately despite having checked in online earlier, the check-in was very slow and frankly staff seemed overwhelmed at reception - it is a relatively large hotel and more than one person at reception should be standard. Also paying GBP 200 for a room facing a busy pub and overall noisy is not great. TV wasn’t working neither.

Beautiful property right next to Lime Street station. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. We had amazing views. Great bathroom and Nespresso coffee machine. Had lunch in the restaurant, very good. Everything is walkable. Public parking across the street 6 pounds a day.

Right next to the train station, so you can easily walk to and from the station. Comfortable room with spacious bathroom. Very central location, to majority of touristy locations. I would definitely stay again.

Great property. Great location and great price. Bed was comfy, air conditioning worked. Location is directly adjacent to the train station. A few minute walk to downtown and cool areas. It was a great stay so we extended an extra day.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Lime Street Train Station. It was so close and convenient for travelling, less than a 5 minute walk from the station. There are bars, restaurants, cultural activities and shopping all within easy walking distance of this property. The hotel itself is very modern and stylish. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

It is next to Lime St. Station, a block from the bus stations, shopping mall across the street and Underground entrance at the doorstep. Wetherspoonn pub and restaurant is in the same building serving great food. Booking an extra night has to be done online and cannot be done at reception. That has to be changed since not all of us have access to the web when travelling.

The room was in the roof space - good overall but only two tiny windows and a skylight. Staff are excellent and very welcoming. Restaurant manager is super hospitable! We had a very comfortable room with a view of St George’s Hall in this splendid Victorian building with striking contemporary decor. Our Superior room was of adequate size for a weekend, but for a longer stay the slightly larger Premier room might be preferable. The breakfast had a good choice of food, but that from the cooked buffet wasn’t very hot and tended to be a little dry.

Room had fridge ironing board .modern big bed . Good toiletries. Even had our expedia free drink voucher in room havent had that in any other placecstayed without asking next door to theatre and station. Negative high prices of drinks in bar and a service charge for carrying drink to table !

Overrated and overpriced, it was like a prettier Premier Inn. The quality of food at breakfast was poor. I’ve stayed much nicer places for a fraction of the price.

Hôtel très bien situé en centre ville, pratique à pied pour découvrir la ville. Chambre classique petite mais calme bien que située proche ascenseur. Pas de rangements donc attention si vous restez plus d’une nuit pas pratique du tout et équipements basiques et pas super confortable.Buffet pdj et bar très bien.

Extremely clean, well appointed room with Air Con. Professional and helpful staff. Excellent location for train travellers beside Lime Street Station. The restaurant was expensive with a limited menu. I only ate there once, but there are numerous other great places to eat in the city.

The place is great, nice room, lovely staff, easy to get anywhere you would like. The rooms are nice and clean, the aircon is great to have. Only thing was the guy that checked me into the hotel (and out), asked for my instagram. I was traveling alone and didnt know how to say no (which is my own issue, i am aware), but he had been searching for me on the app. It showed the search for my name (my last name is very uniqe, we are only 2 people with my first and last name in my contry). Not being able to say no after being given what i now assume is special treatment, is only my own fault and something i need to get better at, but knowing that someone who is actively searching for me online has acces to my name, personal information, email and room number (with the ability to make a new key to said room) is unsetteling - and it would have been even if i was not alone, yet he was aware of this fact from the start. It made me feel icky about every interation i had with him and his coworkers, aswell as the amount of time i spendt in the hotel. Honestly such a shame as I have loved this hotel both this stay and prior stays with family.
