We were there to drop our kid off at MSU. Laundry on site was so convenient. Mary was an amazing host. She was friendly and eased our worries. It was great having restaurants in walking distance.

What I liked is that it was near restaurants. Things I didn't like was no pool, no breakfast as advertised. The clerk was loud and unprofessional. People sitting in cars on the property for hours. The TV internet did not work, lots of things they are still working on and shouldn't be open until completed.

The manager was nice and helpful. The pool was broken and the outside patio wasn't available. The toilet took few times to flush. Their was a $50 charge to my card that I wasn't aware of when I booked my stay. I was able to check out at 12 noon instead of 11am with no extra charge.

Did not like the following: Employee lives on property and smokes marijuana and it wafts through the halls up to the 2nd floor and in the room we were staying in. Carpet unclean. Uneven flooring in room. Uneven bathtub. Shotty rehab construction like unmatched patterns on carpet and badly painted hand rails. No lounge area. No elevator. No pool funtioning where there was at one time and the outdoor seating area as seen in the photo has no apparent access from the building.. All windows condensate and some broken. No ABC TV channel. A dispensary advertisement sticker was on our room door. Staff was unprofessional in appearance and interaction. No complimentary soap. Coffee station had no decaffeinated options. Key card access was not functioning on side entry doors which encouraged people to prop them open for loading/unloading , smoking, allowing anyone to potentially sneak in at their leisure. This was trap Nationals and the hotel was full of kids. We were here for States a year ago and it appeared to be under renovation. Not much improved since then.

This hotel is convenient to MSU, interstate and restaurants. It is in a safe location and has plenty of parking. The front desk staff was very friendly. My room was clean and, even though on the first floor, was very quiet at night. My room could stand some updating but it did not detract from the overall quality of my stay. Good value.

Smelled like marijuana in the bathroom and sink area. The exhaust vent cover in the bathroom was covered in dirt/dust and was expelling noxious air. The automatic light in the bathroom turned into a flashing strobe light, would not stay on. There was a big water damage stain on the ceiling above the window. Hallways were not maintained well - dirty with trash and debris at different hours.

The room and furnishings were pleasant. Everything I saw or touched was clean and in good order. The hotel is convenient to restaurants and retail establishments. But the best part of the stay was the staff. Home Towne Studios seems to have hired some genuinely helpful, friendly people.

Front lobby looks great! You may want to update your rooms to match. Tub was filthy, dirt and dust everywhere. Chairs are horrible.

Rooms were nice and clean. Hallways and entrance ways were horrible. Nasty smell and filthy. Wouldn’t stay here again until the property is updated. Staff was very friendly. People (assuming a lot of them reside there) were smoking in the rooms and hallways and hanging out making noise all night long.

We had a very shorty stay on this trip. We were welcome by friendly staff, check in went smoothly, too. The room was spacious, very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed felt great to both of us. The parking was right across from the entrance which was very convenient. It felt safe and looked clean in the parking lot. We have no complaints whatsoever!!

This property is a little on the basic side, very clean and very reasonably priced. I would say that my only real complaints would be with noise from other rooms in the hallway during the night and not enough towels for the people in the room. Other than that I’ve stayed here twice and I will come back.

We were pleasantly greeted at the front desk, but it seems many people live here and rent rooms by the month. They are not able to smoke in their rooms, so they do it by the entrance door and everything smells. The room was clean, just needed some updates, actually better than expected for the price point. Added bonus is there is no carpet, so the floor was clean. Our TV did not work. It would not even turn on. After a very long day, we all just wanted to lay in bed, watch a movie and relax. We were told there was no other TV and no other rooms. Later found out both were available, front desk just didn't feel like doing any work. Asked to be comped a portion of our stay, but management refused because we COULD have moved. (Again, we were told by the front desk that there was not one other available room.) Fine for the pricepoint. Would have probably given a much better review had the front desk clerk been willing to help us.

If you're looking for a long term stay on business or with the family the weekly rates are the best . Wirh a kitchen range and large refrigerator its the ideal place. Although they don't have cooking utensils in the rooms . Its still a goodbplace to stay . Quiet good location and clean .

This hotel offered a quick and easy check-in experience which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. The room is large and offers a lot of convenient amenities such as a large microwave and fridge, TV with Netflix and easy to use AC. The few things that could use improvement: The phone for the room was not connected or working so I had to go to the front desk whenever I needed something. This also prevents the front desk from being able to reach us which is not great. Another thing to note was that the water from the shower was only able to provide slightly warm water. It was a little bit too cold to have a comfortable shower. Other than those two points, this hotel offers good value and a lot of convenience.

Issues with the water not being hot in several rooms. Either no hot water at all or it got cold before a shower was even half way through. The front desk staff was very nice however and tried to help best he could. Very patient during check in and with anything that came up! He definitely deserves recognition for being great at his job!

A bag in our room was taken and the contents dumped on a table. The second night of our stay the night desk manager single handedly decided to cancel our reservation, without explanation. We called the police about the missing bag which the front desk “found” in lost and found. A nightmare of a hotel that gave us the creeps. Probably the worst we’ve ever experienced.

Check in took an extra 10 minutes or so due to the booking method and the fact someone was being trained. Did it matter? Not one bit. For one, they allowed me to check in early, on top of that the lady was beyond nice, as well as the trainee. They made an extremely stressful day quite pleasant. The room was very nice, the beds a little rough on the back, but overalla great experience

The fact that if we asked for clean towels it was an ordeal. Could not bring to us, and when i went to the front desk it was given to us with a bit of an attitude. Our neighbors were very load and the desk handled it very quickly.

Only down side was the pool was broken and I didn’t realize breakfast wasn’t served because of the kitchenette. Lady that helped us was absolutely amazing! Truly appreciate her!!

full size fridge. stove top, microwave. no coffee maker, no toaster, no stove. no dishes, no flatware, no pots etc. They sell small "kitchen package for $50. no desk. tiny kitchen table with is used as a stand for microwave.

Hotel convenient, price was fair, staff good. I was a little bothered by the smell of marijuana in the hallways in a hotel that is supposed to be no smoking. Also, kitchen was provided but no kitchen amenities which I would’ve had to bring with me in order to cook anything.

Great customer service! Clean, comfortable room. No coffe maker was a big disappointment! Zero cookware and plates, cup, glasses, utensils - a minimum would've been nice since there is a kitchen. Would stay again if prices don't increase.

Although it was clean, good bed, had friendly staff, the room itself was a disappointment. The decor is cold feeling and dark. With full ridge, and cupboards, there was not a single utensil, even plastic, and no coffee-maker in the room. If you plan to use this for cooking, you will have to bring your own pots, dishes, spoon, fork, cup, detergent, everything!

I have read the reviews and I didn't smell any smoke in the hallways. The whole place was clean including the hallways. We stayed a second night. Wish they had dishes to use since it's a extended stay but that would not stop me from staying here again...but a breakfast of some sorts would be nice other extended stays have them and that's the reason for not giving al 5 stars
