Good value hotel with lovely suites equipped with everything needed for a short or longer stay. Starbucks coffee available in the lobby 24/7 and good selection of groceries if you want to cook a snack. Despite being very busy for Stampede the hotel was able to accommodate our need to stay an extra night after our plane was cancelled. Only small criticism was that room not always serviced/partially serviced.

A budget hotel that had rooms with a full kitchen . Good for extended stays . Laundry facilities available . Very continent for walking to restaurants and bars . Parking is a bit of a challenge as there are not a lot of spots, although we did get one every night during our six night stay.

this property is dated but cost effective for access to downtown calgary no dining on site close to 2 steakhouses which are very good no breakfast close by parking is ground level with tight stalls especially with a truck walking to core mall about 5 blocks

Great place to stay in Calgary. Their Suit rooms have all amenities like kitchen, stove, microwave and LED TV. Gym is not that good. Staff is great. Overall a great place to stay.

Parking lot not very convenient. Had to park in a different lot . Hotel was under construction and only 1 elevator working.. Would have appreciated some kind of discount, or voucher for the lack of comfort at this time but nothing.

Definitely wasn’t worth the money I had to pay to stay. My room was still dirty when I checked in, one of the light bulbs was out, they didn’t refill the shampoo or conditioner before I checked in. The walls are paper thin so you can hear the people in the rooms beside you and down the hall easily. Elevator was super slow taking the stairs was faster most of the time. They wouldn’t let door dash delivery people drop stuff off at my room so I would have to go all the way to the lobby to pick my things up. When I would come back to my room at night after they “cleaned” my room the new bedding was still dirty and they never took my garbage away I had the same garbage in my room for 4 days

Staff were awesome, zero complaints. It was the bedding I didn’t like. The comforter and pillows needed cleaning. It smelled like unwashed body to the point my hair smelled funny the next day. I actually slept on a fresh towel the next night. Sheets were bleached but you could tell other items were not and it grossed me out. I just think of dirty bodies doing who knows what…

The rooms was not cleaned thoroughly. There were sticky residue on the kitchen counter. I had to disinfect the room with wipes. Also the dishwasher was broken and they couldn’t provide a scrub sponge to do the dishes… a slipper provided was used, noted for us to feel like home…. I wouldn’t trust that. At AC in the lounging/dining area was not circulating properly to the rooms. If was quiet hot during this summer.

Overall the hotel is fine. The rooms were generally clean, however some areas were not (baseboards dusty, walls and lamps stained). Very spacious rooms. The rooms are non-smoking, however there was a stale smell of smoke in the rooms. The elevator was very slow and the doors shut button did not work. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Our room had broken light switches, desk drawer was hanging by a thread broken off of both hinges, someone’s shoes were in the closet from before. When we called down about this they said they would send someone up and nobody ever came. Photos online look nothing like the building itself. Very dirty, old, dingy looking. Charged us for an “early” check in and turns out it wasn’t even the correct room we booked, tried to call down to switch and we were told no. Hallway stunk and was very dirty. Overall not a good experience for the money spent and I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Room is clean and great customer service. Location is great as it is close to public transit. The room could use some renovations though as the ceiling in the bathroom had a hole in it. There were holes/ripped drywall near the corners of the room in inconspicuous areas. AC is available, but is a portable window unit.

The hotel is fine. The bed was comfortable. It needs a refresh and an update. There are many light switches that do nothing. The AC is in the living room so the bedroom doesn’t cool off. Apparently it used to be condos and the conversion to hotel seems rather incomplete. That said, the bed was comfortable.

The property itself is good. Very nice to have an apartment-like hotel room. The suite was clean, the only issue is the windows on the outside were filthy. The problem was the service. The front desk staff were very good, but reaching anyone at this hotel is impossible and the website is terrible for booking purposes. I tried to book directly with the hotel, but the website was extremely glitchy so I called the hotel directly to book. After 30 minutes of being on hold I hung up and booked through Expedia. Then, when my reservation was shortened I tried to call the hotel and let them know, but after waiting on hold 45 minutes I hung up. Also, one of the evenings in my room I needed ice, and there was no signage in the elevator, hallways or my room where the ice machine was. So I called the front desk, it rang busy, so I called housekeeping, and there was no answer. I tried them each a couple more times but no luck. In summary, due to the price, location and roominess of the hotel I would stay here again, but my expectations on service will be lowered as I know answering calls is not a priority of this hotel.

One of the day staff, a guy, had a dismissive approach that was off-putting at first. However, the young black lady who stepped in was cheerful and made me feel welcomed. Emma, the housekeeper, along with the morning kitchen staff, were genuinely warm and incredibly helpful.

I’ve stayed here the last three times I’ve travelled to Calgary on business. The staff are excellent- friendly and efficient. The property is older but well maintained. It’s location and value for money make it tough to beat if you have meetings downtown.

Stayed here while visiting Calgary for work. The hotel is starting to show it's age but the rooms were well kept and clean. I stayed in a king bed suite and it was very spacious. Staff was very nice. It is in a quiet area of downtown and there are not many food options in walking distance nearby so keep that in mind for nighttime.

I was a little dissatisfied upon arrival as the hotel looks pretty run down. The area felt a little unsafe. The parking is open air so we felt uncomfortable leaving anything at all in the car so taking every single thing upstairs was a drag. We stayed in a two bedroom suite which was huge and very clean but staring at another high rise. For the price we paid I’d absolutely shop around next time.

The location is hugely convenient for any business traveller with meetings in downtown Calgary. You are a block away from the plus-15 pedway that connects downtown. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Bow River walking trail is about a five-minute walk away and is an excellent way to unwind after a long day of meetings. The staff were courteous, professional and efficient, from check in to check out. They make you feel welcomed and valued as a patron. I will stay here again. There is construction across the street -- they were driving piles for the foundation of a new building. There will be noise from about 7:30 a.m. onwards so be prepared to be awoken if you planned on sleeping in if you stay here over the next few months.
