What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables with charging ports ether side. Everything was spotless. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner in the restaurant the first night. Service was great and food was very good. The menu does specialise in Indian food but they also do traditional British food so we had a mix and left the plates empty. Food was not cheap but not expensive. Sometimes you get what you pay for and I would say it was good value. Everything is so well thought out and really good attention to detail, just like the old style of hospitality rather than cheap and cheerful multi national hotels that all look the same. Nice lounge at reception, car park has distinct bays, hotel is kept really warm. Staff very professional, polite, courteous and well dressed. I am sure I will submit this and remember something else but in short, would recommend.

Very nice accommodations well appointed decor in an authentic old scottish home. Restaurant is great and the bar is quaint.

Great property. It was beautiful around the area. Food was amazing. Parking was great. The service is top class.

The location was convenient for Glen Coe and Fort William. Unfortunately the room had a dripping shower which was really annoying and the restaurant was very average for the price.

Lot of character and a beautiful property. Rooms were well done and spacious. Floors a bit dirty and was pretty loud at night maybe because it’s an older building (we heard the people upstairs moving around and shutting things all night).

Rokeby Manor is a nicely presented, very clean hotel in between Fort William and Fort Augustus. They have tried really hard with nice touches like robes, slippers etc. However ... the place is so noisy. The plumbing makes continuous noise, specifically during dinner and breakfast services, specifically in the room 10/14 area. Also, wooden floors with period furniture when mixed with the sheer ignorance and inconsideration of other guests makes for a very noisy experience. If you have good ear plugs, or aren't affected by the noise of people bashing around then Rokeby Manor could be good for you. I would recommend getting the plumbing insulated and carpets fitted in the rooms and communal areas. Additionally, although there is a good selection of Indian, Scottish and general food available, it is expensive for what you get.

This hotel is WONDERFUL. It's like taking a step back in time. Real keys, not cards. Immaculate rooms, gracious service, beautiful surroundings. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast is wonderful and the restaurant for dinner is very good - great Indian and European dishes. The folks that work in the hotel are kind and responsive. Overall it was my favorite hotel in Scotland.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was cosy, beautifully furnished, very clean. Bed was comfortable. Very quiet place with lovely view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall great experience, definitely recommend.

Property is nice and cosy, just what you’re looking for in the Highlands, and staff were quite nice and accommodating . However when coming back on the first day we saw our bed had not been made and towels, cups or coffee capsules had not been replaced/replenished, when we asked about it we were told that they normally only did it after the third day but did offer to do it straight away if we wanted. We didn’t need it however we looked everywhere for this info and didn’t find it anywhere so if that is the policy it would be great to inform guests in advance otherwise it gives the impression that service is sloppy. Aside from this, great place overall.

The hotel is exceptionally comfortable and clean. The breakfast is delicious and dinner has a good mix of choices. The staff are very friendly too.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful views and lots of excellent thoughtful little extras. The bed room was delightful with every facility you could wish for. Extensive choice for breakfast and we very much enjoyed our Indian meal in the evening. Thoroughly recommend this hotel

A cosy hotel with very comfortable rooms - our room had a stove in it which was lovely. All the staff were friendly. Food was excellent and the breakfast was plentiful.

This is an absolutely beautiful place! The rooms are so charming. We had a view to the field across the street where baby lambs had just been born. The food was delicious. I like Indian food but others in our group would prefer something less spicy and there were plenty of options. We so enjoyed our stay.

This was a very nice place to stay for 2 nights. I hiked Ben Nevis and did some rock climbing in the area. Super convenient and in the country. Comfy bed, nice shower. All these smaller properties are hard to book online. I thought I booked 2 twin beds and ended up sharing a king bed with my mom. This happened several times. It was likely my fault.

This place was very unique. The hardwood floors in the bedroom was a fantastic touch. And everyone that worked. There was absolutely amazing. We loved to look especially because we came during Christmas and the hotel was decorated.

What an amazing place. Staff was so polite and professional. The in-house restaurant provided great food and service. The location was so peaceful. This was one of our favorite places we stayed at on our trip to Scotland

Our stay at Rokeby Manor was nothing but great. Our room, the restaurant and the quiet location made for a perfect stay for our short stay. Thank you again to all the staff for an enjoyable stay.

We stayed here during our honeymoon. The hotel staff were so very kind and dinner at the restaurant was spectacular. Perfect location for exploring Skye and Glencoe. Will come back!
