Easy check in, quiet, safe, clean, We were pulling a machine on a trailer and got it in the parking lot fairly easily *Note - firm mattress (which is great for people like me with back issues). This is our second time staying here and we will always stay HERE when passing thru the area. 5 stars

Great newly remodeled motel, for the price paid. No frills, but clean and efficient. In a nice neighborhood, and directly in the flow of travelers through Palestine...no detours needed

The room was immaculate. Bathroom has been remodeled & no sign of grout mold b/c it was all new. The tile on the bathroom floor was new. Very nice to see old buildings being updated. Good job & so happy all carpeting is gone from most hotels now.

The room was not clean, there was mold growing on the ceiling of the room from the restroom all the way to the front of the room. Mold on the walls of the cupboard near the microwave. Mold in almost all the grout lines of the showers and the shower curtain. The room smelled very damp, humid, and like mold. The counter of the sink still had hair around the faucet. The room floors were sticky and did not feel clean. This room needs to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Rust was growing on metallic surfaces like the ironing board and the screws and nails in the room. There is a clear sign of humidity in the room that needs to be addressed. No Hotel or Motel should have visible mold growing throughout the whole Bathroom & Guestroom.

Check in started things off with a rude male attendant. Room was so disgusting dirty. Walls were dirty! I would have moved but it was so late in the evening. Pictures are not accurate. Don’t stay here!

Okay so when first got to our room the bed sheeting were dirty they had some type of yellow stains on the bed and pillowcases. We then requested a new room the second room also had yellow stains on the bed sheets. We ended up going to walmart and getting bed sheets so we could sleep for the night. The power went out twice that night. Yes for the whole room we had no power. Then the room smelled of mildew. My boyfriend had to get Lysol from walmart as well. We never had our room cleaned for those two days. All the trash we had was piled in a corner and never picked up. We never got any new towels or rags. The wifi didn’t work at all. We tried to login in several times with the code that was given to us. Once the code was entered the wifi basically just said it wasn’t on. The outside is covered in cigarettes and reeks of smoke. The breakfast area is non-exist and is a little corner in the front office. Please don’t let these good reviews fool you. This place is bottom of the barrel.

It was just OK. The coffee cups were used before as coffee was around the rim of the cup. Outside of A/C in room as so dusty you could see it. Bed was comfortable but too high to get in comfortably for an older person or short person. Won’t return there.

Overall good experience. Check-in/out was quick. Room was in good shape besides some loose flooring near the sink. Didn't use the free wi-fi because my phone warned me the network was unsafe or something. No issues in the room, beds were comfy but pillows were pretty lumpy. Good value for the price.

Hard to hear and understand person checking us in, but managed to get enough info to figure things out. our room was clean,with plenty of towels etc. since it was a bottom floor and people above were very noisy, made it hard to get a nights sleep. Continental breakfast was less than ideal,so, we ate elsewhere

I was very pleased. Room was bigger than I expected. It had a loveseat & desk!! Very large tv. Very clean & comfortable. Coffee machine!! Drawers to put my clothes! I didnt expect this great of place. Super 8 is my go-to from now on.

We stayed to ride the Palestine-Rusk railroad, which was hot! However, I forgot my backpack in the room which had numerous items I didn’t want to lose. I reached out to Super 8 and they had it in the office. However, they would “send it when they could” via Mail & More. Three weeks later, it still hadn’t been sent. I reached out to Bill at Mail & More today, and within 2 hours, they had retrieved my backpack from Super 8, had it packaged ready to be shipped. The manager at Super 8 stated that Americans don’t want to work and she was really understaffed. I guess it is all in how you run your business. I think Bill at Mail & More knows how to run his business, and most likely pays a better wage. The floor in the room looked good, but if you walked on it barefoot, the bottoms of our feet were filthy. It felt filthy, too.

No issues with the room. Recently remodeled, nice floor, clean bath. Comfortable bed, working television, hot shower. Sufficient number of available outlets to plug in devices. Quiet at night. Staff not exactly welcoming, but professional. Breakfast was disappointing. Very few options. NO COFFEE, not a drop. Hotel policy required guests to eat breakfast in small area in front of check-in counter. A few rickety tables and chairs there. Sad.

The hotel was clean and neat. It was a small room with 2 queen beds and it was perfect for a one night stay. Not a fancy place but rates are reasonable and staff was kind. Could have had more towels in the room. The continental breakfast was sweet bread, cereal, and coffee but no place to sit down and enjoy it. Full of men who did not move to give us a chair. Sweet bread was gone but staff came out to give us some before we left.
