Very friendly very clean and overall a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is visiting University of Kentucky for orientation for freshmen it is a 6 minute drive away. You have several restaurants around for your lunch or dinner needs. They also have excellent snacks in lobby, the amenities are awesome you can work out, and you can also do laundry. The only downfall is it's right next to a hospital it can be a little noisy but I knew that when I made the redservation. I did not see that as a downfall but as a blessing just in case there was an emergency I literally could walk across the street. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, clean, no carpets in room which is a bonus for me. Unfortunately no coffeemaker in room. Free coffee 24/7 in lobby but personally I like having coffee before I get dressed. Breaksfast was ok.

Fairly new hotel, but well constructed. It is close to the university, so an emphasis was put on color and activities for young people and families (foosball in the registration and seating area was great). Breakfast was good and varied - I particularly liked the frittadas - and free water for filling water bottles available 24 hours was useful. I worked while I was there - the free wi-fi was actually pretty good! Rooms were clean, contemporary and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again!

The property is lovely. The water pressure was awful. Our room wasn’t cleaned until 330 in the afternoon. The sheets were not changed. Towels were replenished. Coffee 24 hours.

Everything was very clean; however, the room was overpowered with the smell of whatever is used to clean. I love a clean smelling room but this was way too much. I have a cpap machine and the smell was still apparent the next night at home! And my clothes also ended up smelling too.

Our room was clean. This is a new or newly remodeled hotel. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. At check in I was very impressed by the pleasant nature of the clerk. AC system worked great. I was comfortable with the consistency of the room temperature. Breakfast was great as well.

The hotel was fine. Room and social areas were clean, beds were cozy, bathrooms were stocked and clean, and the building seems pretty new, and the location was ok. Not really walkable to much, but ok. Really my only complaint is how loud it was in the rooms. I was awoken multiple times by car noises and sirens outside. Then the alarm clock in the next room woke me up about an hour earlier than I wanted. And the noises through the door when people were walking by and opening and closing doors sounded like there was no door in place. I sounded like there was no buffering of the noise at all, from any wall. We travel and stay in hotels often, but this is definitely one of the most non-quiet hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Aside from the noise, it’s a regular Tru hotel.

Check in was excellent and fast. The staff was kind and helpful during the limited interactions we had. The whole property was very clean, organized and inviting. The only issue we had was the walls being thin. The usual hallway noise and stuff was t there, but you sure could hear your neighbors. Probably worse when they was handling business in the restroom. Other than that, a great stay.

After making a round trip to pick up my daughter from UK and bring her back for the weekend I knew I just couldn’t make the drive back to STL, so I booked in advance…Both front ladies were rude and seemed bothered by me checking in and checking out. Properly looked clean and updated, however I soon found out there didn’t seem to be much of a bearer between floors. I heard EVERYTHING from the room right above us. Every step, every toilet flush, everything they dropped and more. Needless to say I was woken late at night got no rest. I wish I had kept my money and not bothered with this property at all.

We were only able to spend one night due to airline cancellations. The staff was very helpful to accommodate our requests in spite of partial cancellation. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

After breakfast in the lobby we returned to our room to find the door would not open. Went to the front desk and waited several minutes for maintenance. Went back to the desk snd was informed they were looking for maintenance. Asked to speak to the manager as there seemed to be no sense of urgency. She informed me that while we waited he had gone to our room and knocked buy no answer. If we're locked out why would we be in our room. Searched for him again and found him after a time. Some difficulty in getting it open but after a few minutes we got in. Went to the front desk to check out and encountered the manager. After giving her the key she said "safe travels" No apology for our inconvenience and delay. Not a pleasant experience.

Love the location Very clean Disappointed in the bfast availability Signage said bfast was until 930 Went down at 910 and everything was put up but the cereal I realize it was close to end of the time but the breads were put up so no toast — no fruit — disappointed bc that is one of the things I look for in a hotel is continental bfast
