The updates they are doing is going great. This was one of the least expensive hotels probably because of the renovations but it did not disappoint. The shower pressure was wonderful. We only wished the pool was heated and the hot tub was working.

Our kids enjoyed the Large pool area. We also enjoyed the Pool tables. Breakfast Saturday Morning was good, but Sunday was not. Not the same options available. Sunday was a much smaller deal, no eggs, no biscuits & gravy, no sausages. Food we had enjoyed on Saturday morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean.

We were there for two days in the beginning of May, 2024. Pool wasn’t open and was being repaired. They had one washer and dryer but the dryer didn’t work and the lady in their housekeeping laundry area said she’ll dry it for me for $5 in their industrial dryer and the desk gent said he’ll do it free. I asked if there was a laundromat near by and there wasn’t any on that side of town. I was a bit upset since their website said they had a washer and dryer. I am in the middle of a two week vacation/trip. The desk person then spent an hour fixing their dryer for me to use. A lot of the building was not in use because they were trying to update the rooms. So when we went it was quiet. They were trying hard to make the building nice but that takes time. I was happy with the stay besides the issue with the dryer. I looked forward to the pool but I could live without it. If a person just needs a room to sleep for the night and then continue on their trip, this would be fine. Call ahead if you’re wanting to use the pool with kids or need the washer/dryer to be sure they are up and working.

Do NOT go there! Literally was there 45 minutes and decided we were not going to stay there. The pool was not in swimmable. Even when they said it was. The water was under skimmer level. What looked like paint cans and folger tubs on the railing on second level that could easily fall on someone or a kid at that. Anytime you needed front you had to pick up a phone to call them to front and wait a while before someone came in. Building is falling apart and rust all down the side. When we pulled up it 1. Look nothing like what the pictures showed on the page, basically it look like that 20+ years ago and didn’t keep it up. 2. Looked deserted. Mutiple things where messed up, to me it seem like that would just throw a big bandaid on it and called it fixed. No ice machine. Just a huge wire sticking out of main walkway. The room had bugs crawling around it in. Bedsheets smelt clean but had black and brown stains all over it. Our fire alarm was half falling out of our wall. And didn’t look like a typical fire alarm to me. Looked like it was messed with and replaced with foreign objects. Outside the room there was multiple people, that looked homeless, sitting just outside the window. My 4 year old spotted pill(s)outside our door that led to the parking lot. Did NOT feel safe with out children there. Save your money and find something else. Nonfictional pool. TV nothing but fuzzy pictures. Needs to be CLEANED There are objects under the bed and lots of dust. This place needs lots of work. Breakfast had a lot to be desired. Let there ate somewhere else. You had 8.5 rating. Pictures on your site very deceiving. Doors not locked to enter near our room. Need better security locks on entrances not at front desk. Our room door handle did not work properly we had a hard time getting in our room. When I saw a cleaning lady and asked for her assistance she didn’t even acknowledge me. Terrible terrible experience. If I wasn’t exhausted I would have gotten a refund and moved on.

This hotel was what you pay for that’s for sure.. broken towel holder.. tv didn’t work.. he said he would come back to let us know if he had another. Never did.. ice machine was broke down.. beds blankets have stains on them… bed were broken.. wasn’t very clean… bugs flying around in the room.

The rooms were clean. None of the outside doors lock so it’s open to the public. We had a balcony outside our room but there were no patio door curtains. The curtains were not the correct size and would not close. The king sized bed needs replaced it felt like it was broke.

There was bugs on the floor. AC didnt work properly. Toilet didnt fush right and shower would not drain so i showered while standing in dirty water. Tv connection was poor. Wifi was spotty. Tyey charged 100 for a deposit snd fo what. Thn its been several days anddidnt get it bck yet.

The room was in okay condition. The building itself is ancient, probably 1960s-ish. Stay here because you need a decent night's sleep, not because it's glamorous. Even so, this lies right at the intersection of busy roads with 24/7 truck traffic, so don't expect this to be the quietest place you've ever stayed.

This could be a nice property, but for my overnight stay it was not. No one was at the counter for check-in. Took nearly 10 minutes to track someone down to get room assigned and keys. When checking in I handed the clerk my Wyndhan Rewards card, that was completely ignored (not sure if I\'ll ever get points for the stay). Get to our room (small, but that was expected), and try to watch something on their television, and all the pictures are distorted / noisy (which should be impossibly with current digital TV broadcast). Getting the room to a decent temp was an excercise in trial and error. There was a knob to turn left or right for "hotter" and "colder" but not referenced to any actual temperature. Tried to sleep, but every train that went by blew its horn multiple times (the 3AM one really got me). When I got up in the morning, and went to take a shower, the cold water knob falls off in my hand (bolt missing to hold it on). By the end of my shower, I\'m standing ankle deep in water (tub draining VERY slow). Took 5 minutes for the tub to empty AFTER the water was turned off. The one good thing was the breakfast food. It was decent, but having a breakfast room with only a half dozen tables (when the building has somewhere near 100 rooms) means standing around waiting for a table to free up, or taking it back to your room. Finally, at checkout, I asked for a receipt, and was told I needed to get that (somehow) through Expedia, since that was how I booked the room.

Very dated. Ac barely worked, toilet struggled to flush. TV was so static is was like watching in the 90s. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6am. Went around 615 and nothing was setup. Came back about 10 minutes later and the door was locked while 2 employees argued.

The stay was very nice. The only problem we had was the reception on the TV. Majority of the channels were extremely fuzzy & couldn’t watch them, so we couldn’t hardly find anything to watch on TV due to this issue.

The room was a mixture of either pretty new and redone (flooring, bathroom mirror), or extremely old and dated (furniture, fixtures, door/lock). Two of the three lamps didn't work. It was relatively clean though.

This could be a nice property, but for my overnight stay it was not. No one was at the counter for check-in. Took nearly 10 minutes to track someone down to get room assigned and keys. When checking in I handed the clerk my Wyndhan Rewards card, that was completely ignored (not sure if I\'ll ever get points for the stay). Get to our room (small, but that was expected), and try to watch something on their television, and all the pictures are distorted / noisy (which should be impossibly with current digital TV broadcast). Getting the room to a decent temp was an excercise in trial and error. There was a knob to turn left or right for "hotter" and "colder" but not referenced to any actual temperature. Tried to sleep, but every train that went by blew its horn multiple times (the 3AM one really got me). When I got up in the morning, and went to take a shower, the cold water knob falls off in my hand (bolt missing to hold it on). By the end of my shower, I\'m standing ankle deep in water (tub draining VERY slow). Took 5 minutes for the tub to empty AFTER the water was turned off. The one good thing was the breakfast food. It was decent, but having a breakfast room with only a half dozen tables (when the building has somewhere near 100 rooms) means standing around waiting for a table to free up, or taking it back to your room. Finally, at checkout, I asked for a receipt, and was told I needed to get that (somehow) through Expedia, since that was how I booked the room.

Upon checking in no one was at the front desk. Picked up the phone to get ahold of someone, when i gentleman walks in from the pool are. He asks me, are you checking in? I say yes, and he tells me "good luck" and he had been to three rooms already and all of them were disgusting. Then a ten year old boy and a three year old come walking in and ask me are you checking in? They go behind the counter a get the other guy keys to another room and tell him they just cleaned it! A lady finally picks up the phone and tells me shes on the way there from the store! I get checked in and get in the room and its freezing it was 34 outside and 34 in the room. They did not have any heat on in the room. There was a giant water stain on the ceiling and when i went to plug my phone in i fount that only two of the plugs worked in the room! Upon taking a shower the shower head leaked spraying water over the curtain and soaking the floor, the knobs leaked as well. The tile in the bathroom was all coming and you had to wear shoes in there or you would slice your foot open. The main room door going to the parking lot no weatherstripping so the wind blew right into the room. The bathroom door would just not close, and the room door going to the lobby you really had to pull on to get to close!! And the hotels web says its family friendly.....that is a LIE. Everything was broken and non usable. The arcade, pool, exersize room, billiards tables all broken there is NOTHING you can do there!!

Older motel but very clean. Room nice and clean with comfortable bed. Motel so park in front of room and walk in. Could also access inside hallway from room too. Breakfast was good-eggs biscuits gravy, waffle etc. No in-room coffee maker. Manager very nice and always asking if everything ok. Dated outside.

We checked in online and still had to wait for the desk manager to get my key. Room was a mess. Beds not made. Had to wait again for the desk manager to get another room. The bathroom was nice except shampoo bottle was empty and had to use a bar of soap to wash my hair. Breakfast was good.

The room was in okay condition. The building itself is ancient, probably 1960s-ish. Stay here because you need a decent night's sleep, not because it's glamorous. Even so, this lies right at the intersection of busy roads with 24/7 truck traffic, so don't expect this to be the quietest place you've ever stayed.

This was a good hotel for us passing through for the night. It is an older hotel and certainly has that feel. Some wear and tear around the property that you’d expect of an older hotel. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty standard continental breakfast. The pool was a little cold for our kids but they still enjoyed it. Overall this was a nice hotel and I would stay again if passing through Hannibal.

We liked the convenience off of the highway. We did not like the wobbly showerhead and the water in the pool did not look clean. Paint on outside of door handle. The wall outlet was also loose. The biscuits were hard and not edible on the breakfast bar. We did enjoy the waffles.

The facility was very old and looked it. The pool was empty of water and not available for use. No ice machine. The place almost looked abandoned. Our room was pretty clean, but fixtures looked worn and bathroom was very old. Only a handful of channels on the tv worked. Breakfast was limited options and nothing really for anyone with gluten allergy. It was holiday weekend and someone was shooting off fireworks in the parking lot which made it difficult to sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our kids enjoyed the Large pool area. We also enjoyed the Pool tables. Breakfast Saturday Morning was good, but Sunday was not. Not the same options available. Sunday was a much smaller deal, no eggs, no biscuits & gravy, no sausages. Food we had enjoyed on Saturday morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean.

The staff was really nice and friendly. They changed my room to get better Wi-Fi so I could go through my email. The room was spacious. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Bed was comfortable. Hot breakfast was great- scrambled eggs, potatoes, and biscuits and gravy! Also had bread, bagels, rolls, cereal, and waffles, etc. Overall a great stay. This was the fourth year I stayed there after coming back from a magic convention. A++
