Great hotel at a great price. Very clean room and comfy. Unexpectedly upgraded from a queen to a king. Very nice spread for breakfast. Pool & arcade area currently down which was a bummer but they say it will be fixed soon. We would have loved to experience it. Pet friendly at a low rate which is appreciated for someone who travels with their pup a lot. We will be back.

The hotel was decent for just a place to sleep. But with having and indoor pool I expected the pool temp to be at least tolerable. But it was freezing cold.

Room was clean; property being renovated though clean as possible. Pool was fascinating, was originally a Holidome facility; clean and comfortable

There is another building in back and some remodeling going on, but we were in the part around a large indoor courtyard with pool, pool tables, and games. There is also a meeting room. This would be great for small business conference or a family traveling with kids, but this part of the motel might not be so great for people wanting quiet. It was quiet when we were there, though.

Pros: Price, room was clean, water pressure was awesome Cons: pool had algea film on bottom, not enough for breakfast choices and always running out, wifi was terrible, door keys cant be next to phones or remotes because it wipes the room access off the card, had to reset the key 4x in a 2 night stay Been to enough hotels to know that this hotel was lacking in some key areas

Looked old and run down. Pool was cold and film on the water. No tea available for breakfast otherwise breakfast was good.

Wonderful stay! The ad did not show that there was a breakfast, so that was a wonderful surprise. Complete with waffles, cereal, oatmeal, etc. Large indoor pool with little arcade. Exercise room items did not work, but that's okay

This hotel was built in 1966 and it is "tired", However they are remodeling. The staff is very friendly and accommodating when asked for something. No outside swimming pool and the inside one was cold, but it does get a lot of use. It was easy to get to the attractions we were interested in seeing. And the biscuits and gravy were the best I ever had. I would book here again if I return.

The room was dusty. Edges along walls, were dirty. Light fixtures and shades were dusty. While the hotel updated some aspects of the room ex: new bathroom mirror but the socket/light switch plate was broken and unpleasant to look at. TV sound was broken and most channels were fuzzy.

The hotel was good for the price. The pool was very big and unique. The floors in the room could have used a bit more cleaning. I was stepping all over rocks and crumbs and dirt and sand and after getting out of the shower and walking to the bed, my feet were dirty and completely black on the bottom. When going to check out, no one was at the front desk to pass the info on and hadn't been for a minute I'm guessing because we just piled our card on the desk with all of the others. Overall it was a decent stay, but another run with a broom and mop is definitely needed with no carpet in the rooms.

Great value. We were upgraded to a king room. Spotless, roomy and comfy. Breakfast was excellent with fried eggs, sausage links, tater tots, breads, cereals, yogurt, biscuits and gravy. Most beautiful pool area I’ve seen in ages

I can't complain too much for the low price, but I won't stay here again, and you should know before you save some bucks staying here. The place was nearly vacant of customers on a weekend, and only a nice 12-year old boy was there to check us in and then no worker was seen the rest of the weekend. Somebody did set out the basic breakfast each morning though. The main complaint is dirty blankets on the beds and little heat in the room. The blanket was too narrow so half my body was cold when sharing it with my wife. The bed was average, not that soft. The shower did have hot water. The room was clean except for the roach in the bathroom. The pool had floaters on the water so my daughter refused to swim. The video games were mostly broken, but I'd have raised my rating if Crazy Taxi was operational! No ball available for fuseball, and didn't enquire about ping pong or pool table. I'd guess this place will be demolitioned within a decade or less.

114 has roaches i took it up to the front desk and he acted like i was the problem when i showed him the roach.He did not act like it was a problem and not going to refund my money.

Lukewarm hot water, no breakfast as advertised, and a cockroach in the bathroom. One guy working there did his best, but the manager was gone all the time.

This property was a surprise, when we drove up, we couldn't tell if it was the Howard Johnson we had booked. Only a canopy in front but no signage. Once we decided to try it, after entering, we could tell it was the correct place and was actually both a Howard Johnson and Baymont. The inside was so much nicer than the outside. The manager very pleasant and friendly. The room nicely updated and clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast was fine. The only problem in the room was the bed was on rollers on a tile floor, cant lean, must be careful getting in and out. Mirror in bathroom was great, a smart mirror that didn't fog in the middle! We would stay again!

We were driving from Tennessee to California and new we were going to need a place to sleep for a few hours. I jumped on Hotels.com and found this HoJo and booked it. About 11:30pm I received a call asking when we were going to arrive. I told the person that we were on track for about 1:30am. We pulled in about 1:40 and I went to check in and no body was around. I picked up the phone, as the note on the counter said, and it rolled to voice mail. I did this at least 10 times over the next 15 minutes. The buddy I was traveling with finally walked in to see what was taking so long. I then noticed a packet of keys on the counter. I grabbed them and asked my buddy to check to see if these worked and tried the phone a couple more times. About the time my buddy came back; a gentleman cam walking into the lobby in his pajamas and asked if he could help us. He then checked us in and I asked if we had the right keys. He said yes and off we went get a few hours of sleep, it was then about 2:15am. We got to the room and the AC wouldn't work (we finally got it to work). The room appear to be clean. That was until about 6am when I went to take a shower and the bottom of the tub was brown. I looked around the toilet and it looked as though that area had not been swept in a very long time. We just loaded up and went to the lobby. We grabbed a yogurt and started to walk out when a lady barked at us that they weren't open until 6:30. We just left. Won't be back.

The room itself was good even though the building didnt look like much. Unfortunately the pool was closed while I was there. It looked like there would normally be quite a few things to entertain you normally. I liked that my room had a door outside and into the building. Also I enjoyed the Roku TV instead of being stuck watching whatever was on regular TV. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Its a fine place. A bit outdated and worn but it met our needs and was clean.

Room needed up dated. Tried to paint tub to make it look better. Bed was uncomfortable, said when we checked in because we did it online thru travelocity, we had to stay in these rooms. Others in our party called hotel to get rooms and got very nice rooms.

The hotel (actually two in one building) was confusing, kind of a maze. The clerk told me he was giving me an upgrade. I booked a room with one queen and was given a room with two doubles, not sure how that's an upgrade. I was given a key, parked my car and found my room (poor directions, it took a minute) and used the restroom. At that point the clerk knocked on the door to tell me he had given me the wrong room and I had to move. (Not a huge deal, but a little irritating). New room was clean, but the bed was hard and lumpy. Someone was dragging a ladder or something down the hall at 10 pm and the shower in the room above me was really loud, so not a restful night's sleep.

Stayed one night. Motel is in dire need of renovatoins and repair. The flooring in the bathroom was loose, the threshold chipped and broken. Beds were fairly comfortable, but one made alot of noise when turning over. It was not anchored down and kept sliding away from the headboard. The bedding appeared clean, but definitely felt dirty. Perhaps it was very old and worn out. The air conditioner was very loud and didn't run as cool as it should. The gentleman checking us in, walked away before completing our check in, without explanation. A young boy completed our check in. He was polite but offered no information about breakfast or any other amenties. Our room was not quiet, as we were right outside the indoor pool. Could hear people talking all night. Felt like they were right outside our door. Breakfast was very minimal. Only offered very small snack cakes, biscuits & gravy, but the gravy was cold! Coffee was lukewarm and served in styrofoam cups. Very disappointed, and definitely would not recommend this motel.

Clean, convenient, hot water, good water pressure & comfortably bed. It was a Roku TV so trying to find channels was fun. Just what i needed for a 1 night stay. The only thing is the shower curtain rod was falling off of the wall so I had to rig the shower curtain.

No hot water in shower

I couldn't understand anyone I was talking to. It took forever to get someone to come to the front desk. Breakfast closed at 9:30. Crazy. When we went to get our bags out of the car, the checkin guy was smoking with his friend and had us blocked in so we couldn't get our bags. After a long drive, we wanted to get unpacked and couldn't.

This is by far one of the worst places I’ve stayed loud shouting in the room next to us not like they where busy called 1 st time to the front desk at 8pm they went to the room told them to quiet down it did not stop called again at 10pm the went back to the room threatening to call the police the people just laughed and said they would call the the police the manager said she was going to but no police ever am steer clear of this dump

Staff was amazing! We got in late as we had been driving all day and staff was so accommodating and helpful. Our room was upgraded for free because our 9m old son was with.

The staff was great the only complaint I had was that the floor needed to be repaired. The front desk staff was super helpful and kind and very friendly. I’d choose to go there again just for that with this kind of trip

The staff are always very welcoming and friendly and greet you upon arrival with a smile. The rooms are clean and comfortable and my stays here are always enjoyable

The room was clean and adequate. The service was terrible! It took 20 minutes to find someone to check us in. We called on the phone repeatedly for survice as indicated with no response. My husband went looking for someone and 2 different people said they would call someone... finally after 20 minthe clerk came and had one excuse after another with no apologies. We got to our room which was fine. We were awakened by horrible squealing noises from the pipes as the shower was turned on in the room next to us. Thus we decided to get up and go to breakfast when it started at 6:30 and get an early start. It was just past 6:30 when we arrived at the breakfast room which was dark and there was. No breakfast. Again there was no clerk avaible. We left our keys at the front desk and went to McDonalds for breakfast.

Our stay was good, you just need to put up a sign for Howard Johnson, we saw the Baymont sign but didn't know it was Howard Johnson.

Property not well identified. Very dated building. Probably very nice 25 years ago. Windows were all fogged. Very minimum staffing. Huge facility with only three other vehicles in parking lot. Those vehicles were in poor condition indicating the type of clientele this motel brings in. We did not stay the night.

The hotel was hard to find due to unmarked buildings, the only identity was a small sign to the side seen after you drive around like bldg. The upkeep was poor with many rooms obviously in disrepair. We asked to see room first which was clean, no bugs seen, smelled good. The mattresses were not good. Staff was friendly. Phone in room not connected. Breakfast hot, coffee very good. At first anxious re safety but had no problems.

Front desk was very kind and responsive. This hotel is huge. The basic breakfast was good. I was thrilled the carpet in the rooms had been replaced with a wood vinyl. The hotel has been updating, but it's easy to spot lots of places where they cut corners. Our first room had hair in the shower, outlets that didn't work, the plastic baseboard was coming off the wall, and hundreds of tiny ants everywhere. Paint smudges all over, old switch covers put back on that are yellow and cracked. I called the front desk and she immediately got us switched across the hall to a room that was nicer. Unfortunately it was on the front side towards the gas station so we heard loud trucks most of the night. Overall it was ok and we will stay here again for a cheap 1 night stay.

The room was clean although dated. The beds were very comfortable. The area isn't the best, not dangerous, just more of an industrial feel to it. The breakfast was less than average...but it was hot. Biscuits and gravy were part of breakfast. Biscuits left a lot to be desired. In truth, not sure if they were fresh. We would stay there again, as quality sleep and costs are our most valued requirements.

Older hotel that is being refurbished. Decent rooms, quiet and just what we needed for a quick overnight stay while on a 13 hour road trip. Nice breakfast.

First off I chose this hotel because was pet friendly and it had better reviews then the Baymont. (It is the same hotel.) I have never felt unwelcome at a hotel, but I did here. We chose this hotel because it said it was pet friendly. It may allow dogs, but is not pet friendly. It started when we went to take our dogs to the bathroom. The manager stopped us and said we were not in a pet friendly room. We informed him that we checked the dogs in when we checked in. He went and verified that. Then he came and complained that our dogs were barking. It was 7 and I saw no other people staying at the hotel. The blankets were torn and stained. There was trash under my be from the last person who stayed there. When we went to take a shower, there was no water. It took a couple hours to get water. There was no remote in the room. When we asked for one they brought us a dirty remote, and insisted it be returned to the desk when we leave. They acted like we were going to steal it. The breakfast was minimal, and I found mold on the white bread. The person who check us is was nice. The guy who was putting breakfast out was nice, but this hotel was probably the worst that I have stayed in.
