Fantastiskt hotell med ett mycket bra läge – nära både stranden och charmiga Gamla stan. Servicen håller hög klass, med frukosten serverad vid bordet i en fantastisk miljö. Ett extra stort plus för Pablo, som levererade service i absolut världsklass! Rummen är fräscha, rymliga och bekväma, även om det var något lyhört – den enda lilla nackdelen vi kunde hitta. Vi åker gärna tillbaka igen, och rekommenderar varmt till vänner!

A perfect oasis within the hustle and bustle of the old town. An amazing boutique hotel where customer service is number 1 priority. The hotel facilities and grounds are stunning and the breakfast is top notch. The hotel staff couldnt do enough to ensure your stay is perfect.... recommend!

Staff is incredible! Every single one of them from the excellent check in, the breakfast ladies are amazing, and so is the wonderful young man that runs the bar in the evening. (I would include their names, but I am sure to misspell them). Even the gentleman that was painting when we arrived was so welcoming (all speak English very well). The breakfast is perfect European (yum). The pool and grounds are beautiful. The room was also beautiful and extremely clean (and the room cleaning ladies were so kind and good at their jobs). Stay here if you can!

Absolutely beautiful hotel, well run and maintained. All staff were amazing. Specialty cocktails made by Paulo were delicious. Very comfortable stay. Breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend. We hope to come back one day. Great location, walked to hotel from where our bus dropped us off. Many restaurants and bars walking distance. Super close to the beach.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the Old Town. Staff were all excellent and very helpful and we had a really enjoyable stay. The champagne breakfast was excellent. Our ‘Happy night’ room was a good size and all the facilities were excellent. The pool area and hot tub terrace were beautiful with sun loungers and seating. Will definitely stay again if we visit Albufeira in the future.

Vila Origens is an amazing find. It is in the heart of the old town of Albufeira, literally built next to the city castle wall, hence their name. Their infinity pool is right next to the 1000 year old castle wall, with a breathtaking view of the village hills. This is a new vila so while the location is ancient, the facility is cutting edge including floor heating in the bathroom which dries up the shower remnants rapidly and leaving the bathroom fresh. The free breakfast buffet consists of an amazing spread of local cheese, cured meats, pastry and fruit, a king’s feast all presented on a nice platter brought to our table. The best part of this place is the staff, particularly Vera who was born in town and a true local and gave us the local view of this old fishing village that has in the last 15 years turned into a hot tourist spot. If you are looking for a boutique resort with all the amenities you can ask for, in the best location of town and a super nice staff, Vila Origens is it!

The location is perfect, the cocktails are fabulous, the pool is beautiful, and the rooms are just stunning. If you book at this hotel, please avoid room number 1 and 2 as those 2 rooms are next to the main door entrance for the personnel and impossible to rest as they start early.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great continental breakfast. There was noise from the streets in the room I had. I didn’t like the fitted sheet on the bed, it was not crisp and had pilling, however I did not share my concerns about it with the staff, and I’m certain they would have addressed the issue should I have brought it up. They were very accommodating and everything else was excellent

Wonderful staff who made the whole experience a delight. Fabulous pool and facilities. However, room 21 has “old pipes” and has a persistent sewage smell. We were moved to the room next door which didn’t have this problem and had a relaxing holiday. Highly recommend this place, 5 min walk to the old town.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was attentive, the rooms were very clean, and large bathroom. We loved the beautiful pool and cabanas and the breakfast was unbelievable. I highly recommend this place if you’re in doubt no negatives at all.

We loved it here! It's beautiful and clean, the staff were amazing, the location is great. It's in the action but if you want to stay in for the night it's quiet in the room. I 100% recommend staying at Vila Origins.

The staff were amazing, kind, and engaging. The room was beautiful, breakfast was outstanding, and you felt like you were in an oasis. It was also within minutes of old town, and we would walk there daily. I would definitely go this hotel.

We had a little problem with the check in but everything else was amazing! We booked a late check in (1am) and was told this was fine just ring the bell or call the number. So we sat outside the Hotel ringing the bell and phoning the number but no-one answered. Fortunately there was another number on the Hotels.com app which we called and even though we woke up a previous employee, he was very helpful and contacted the Director. Once in we were blown away with the service and comfort of the property. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were very apologetic about the mess up with the check in. Breakfast was delightful and massive! All served at your table with champagne, fresh orange juice and tea or coffee. Selection of cured meats and cheeses with fresh bread rolls(a variety), cooked eggs, a traditional Nata and freshly cooked Croissants. The room we had was very nicely decorated and a large comfortable bed. Super quick internet which is unusual in a hotel and a TV with Netflix! We had a balcony on our room which topped it off so we could enjoy some sunshine with a glass of wine. On thing we found a little surprising is the balcony is a joint balcony with one other room which we felt could be sectioned off. Location wise it is ideally suited for those who want everything on your doorstep and easy to walk down to a restaurant or for a cocktail or 2! All in all we loved Villa Origens and will be definitely coming back next year.

The room we had was very nicely decorated and a large comfortable bed. Super quick internet which is unusual in a hotel and a TV with Netflix! We had a balcony on our room which topped it off so we could enjoy some sunshine with a glass of wine. On thing we found a little surprising is the balcony is a joint balcony with one other room which we felt could be sectioned off. Location wise it is ideally suited for those who want everything on your doorstep and easy to walk down to a restaurant or for a cocktail or 2! All in all we loved Villa Origens and will be definitely coming back next year.

First impressions when the large wooden gates open are wow!! Like, wow! The manager showed us round with enthusiasm and pride and then to our room which he advised was an upgrade as they'd just finished two new rooms with us being the second occupants of it. This wasn't in the main building and was across the street closer to the main square. Our room was fabulous, really big, exceptionally comfortable bed, must be super king so nice and spacious. Shower was pretty good. When he said it was an upgrade this came in the form of the outdoor area. When you go onto the balcony this is in fact a terrace with steps down to a good sized pool that you share with only one other room so practically a private pool. Then beneath the room is a steam room and BBQ. So if you and another couple book both rooms you could have an amazing time. My problem is that despite having the aircon as low as possible it was roasting, mainly due to the duvet being thick enough for winter, then the noise, we were there three nights and the first night once we closed the patio doors couldn't hear anything, second not ght by about 1am we couldn't hear anything but the Friday night and it was loud till 3-4am. Not sure if being in the main building would be quieter as all the reviews I'd read prior were complimentary. Last thing, the breakfast is outstanding, they bring everything Inc champagne to you and it was delicious. So I'm torn, I'd cope with the warmth, not the noise

Staff is incredible! Every single one of them from the excellent check in, the breakfast ladies are amazing, and so is the wonderful young man that runs the bar in the evening. (I would include their names, but I am sure to misspell them). Even the gentleman that was painting when we arrived was so welcoming (all speak English very well). The breakfast is perfect European (yum). The pool and grounds are beautiful. The room was also beautiful and extremely clean (and the room cleaning ladies were so kind and good at their jobs). Stay here if you can!

This really is an oasis in the middle of Albufeira Old town. As other guests have mentioned in reviews, the service by the staff could not be faulted - they are excellent, they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful. The hotel itself is gorgeous and such a lovely place to stay. I highly recommend staying at Vila Origens and hope to have another visit someday! Special shout-out to Paulo, his customer service and hospitality was amazing.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the Old Town. Staff were all excellent and very helpful and we had a really enjoyable stay. The champagne breakfast was excellent. Our ‘Happy night’ room was a good size and all the facilities were excellent. The pool area and hot tub terrace were beautiful with sun loungers and seating. Will definitely stay again if we visit Albufeira in the future.

Vila Origens is an amazing find. It is in the heart of the old town of Albufeira, literally built next to the city castle wall, hence their name. Their infinity pool is right next to the 1000 year old castle wall, with a breathtaking view of the village hills. This is a new vila so while the location is ancient, the facility is cutting edge including floor heating in the bathroom which dries up the shower remnants rapidly and leaving the bathroom fresh. The free breakfast buffet consists of an amazing spread of local cheese, cured meats, pastry and fruit, a king’s feast all presented on a nice platter brought to our table. The best part of this place is the staff, particularly Vera who was born in town and a true local and gave us the local view of this old fishing village that has in the last 15 years turned into a hot tourist spot. If you are looking for a boutique resort with all the amenities you can ask for, in the best location of town and a super nice staff, Vila Origens is it!

Absolutely perfect place to stay and we will return! Great location, yummy breakfast, staff are second to none, like staying in your own oasis… beautiful. We lounged by the pool, slept so well on comfy beds and no noise, conversed with the staff and Rui, the Manager, was so friendly. The 6 of us agreed it was our favourite stay on our long journey and would recommend this place to all travellers!

Hotellet er fantastisk og de ansatte er serviceinnstilt og hyggelige. Hotellet har kort gåavstand til restauranter og strand. Bassengområdet på hotellet er veldig fint, og frokosten var helt super. Om jeg skal trekke frem noe negativt, så er det at det er veldig støy fra nærliggende barer. Jeg bodde på hotellet i 4 netter, og hadde problemer med å sove hver natt. Jeg brukte ørepropper, men musikken og bassen var så høy at dette ikke hjalp. Barene stenger ikke før kl 4 på natten… Anbefaler å ha ørepropper med noise canceling on man skal overnatte på rommene som vender mot restaurantene. En annen negativt ting er at jeg opplevde at gjester stod opp tidlig og okkuperte daybed’s ved bassenget med håndklærne sine. Dette til tross for at gjestene ikke var til stede selv. Det ble altså brukt som en måte for å «reservere» sengene til senere på dagen. Dette er en uting, og jeg hadde forventet mer på et hotell hvor man betaler ekstra for gode fasiliteter. Dette minner mer om «charterferie», og gjør at hotellet mistet litt av følelsen av å være eksklusivt.

Fantastiskt hotell med ett mycket bra läge – nära både stranden och charmiga Gamla stan. Servicen håller hög klass, med frukosten serverad vid bordet i en fantastisk miljö. Ett extra stort plus för Pablo, som levererade service i absolut världsklass! Rummen är fräscha, rymliga och bekväma, även om det var något lyhört – den enda lilla nackdelen vi kunde hitta. Vi åker gärna tillbaka igen, och rekommenderar varmt till vänner!

Excellent Experience. Very nice property close to beach and main square. Excellent Service. The included breakfast is amazing. 5 stars all the way around. Parking is a challenge in the entire area, so if you rent a car, i recommend to drive to the hotel, unload tge bags and then park the car.

This really is an oasis of calm and comfort amongst the madness of albufeira. The team at vila origens were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with good choice of continental food (eggs also available), they had a small menu of lunch items but no evening meal. This wasnt a problem as so many restaurants in the vicinity.

I would give this hotel more stars if I could. It was everything we expected and more. The hotel is magnificent, restored with a great deal of taste, in an atmosphere that is elegant, quiet, and warm and immediately relaxes you. Its location is ideal, a few minutes from the sea and in the heart of a charming little historic town, with many recommended restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely return. The room, pool, breakfast and staff were amazing, particularly Paulo!

The hotel is magnificent, restored with a great deal of taste, in an atmosphere that is elegant, quiet, and warm and immediately relaxes you. Its location is ideal, a few minutes from the sea and in the heart of a charming little historic town, with many recommended restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely return. The room, pool, breakfast and staff were amazing, particularly Paulo!

An oasis for rest recuperation and attentiveness. You are made to feel like you are part of a family and nothing is ever too much trouble. Rarely do you see consistent smiling faces across both front of house and housekeeping. The property is well situated for main town and beach, all just a few mins walk away. Something like this is indeed a rare find. We will be back, like many others once they have experienced for the first time. Stand out points- all exceptional: Staff Cleanliness Location Champagne (Moet & Chandon) Breakfast All day included snacks and still/fizzy water Points to note: Rooms are quite small, some of the more expensive ones are bigger so take note when you book.
